If you are traveling through Washington, DC IAD Dulles Airport, I recommend getting a pizza from &pizza. They have a great selection of specialty pizzas. You can also "create your own" pizza and there are a lot of toppings. They have a counter height dining, and a bar with TVs for customers. I ordered "The Maverick" pizza, which is my favorite here. IT WAS PREPARES perfectly. I sat down and enjoyed my pizza at the counter height dining table and watched the game. The staff here is super customer service oriented and it was great. read more

I had a really disappointing experience at &pizza inside IAD Airport. While preparing food, one of the employees was grabbing trash bins with the same gloves she was using to make pizzas and never changed them afterward. Watching someone handle garbage and then go right back to preparing food without switching gloves is honestly unacceptable from a food safety standpoint. On top of that, the overall customer service was poor. The employee barely acknowledged customers, had a very rude attitude, and made the whole interaction uncomfortable. Paying around $14 for a pizza at the airport is already expensive, but you at least expect decent service and basic hygiene. Unfortunately, this location didn't deliver on either. I hope management takes food safety and customer service more seriously in the future. read more

The pizza was good. I haven't had &pizza in about 6 years so I was feeling very nostalgic. The guy who made my pizza was good. The guy checking me out was a little rude. All he had to do was put on the last minute garnishes and ring me up. I don't know if he was overwhelmed but he was rude. He was so stingy with the garnishes and rude. It was wild. Not nearly as nice as the stand alone stores throughout the area but I got my pizza and my garnishes! read more

Good pizza. But usually a long line and slow service. A tad on the expensive side, too.

It's okay, somewhat oily and there's no healthier option like a vegetable flatbread. The service is matter of fact, minimal interaction. They do have tables. read more

Pizza was great! The people working so rude! I've come here multiple times because the pizza but every time I go by C28 the people are mean/rude, disrespectful to the customers. Today the person who was putting the toppings on, was pissed that the customer ahead of me for ordering a side of ranch. She was arguing with what the customer wanted on her pizza. She was throwing/slamming things around, rolling her eyes, sighing loudly. The staff is definitely ruining the place. Service=horrible read more

I got a pizza here at Dulles International Airport in DC on a layover. I was starving and nothing looked good until I saw &pizza. The pizzas looked good, well at least the pictures of the pizza looked good. I ordered the least fatting one which was the Margherita. The pizza would have been excellent if it were cooked longer, as it was a bit doughy. The service was typical airport pizza which meant crappy service and the spoken langue was finger pointing. I would still get the pizza again, but I need to get better at finger pointing langue. read more

Went to &pizza at Dulles Airport between flights and got the Dirty Bird. It's plain dough covered in chicken and jalapeños topped with ranch and hot sauce. I tried disgusting blue cheese for yummy creamy goat cheese and it was delicious on the pizza! I wish the crust was a bit crisper with their thinner cut style, but they do have separate cutting blades based on the type of pizza sauce you're getting! This location has Wi-Fi issues so when a lot of people pay with card it slows the line. read more

Contrary to the website, this location has a limited selection. So limited that your choices are cut down to four, but still nothing like the website. I wanted something quick, but this was not quick. It took at least a good fifteen minutes, not because they putting together of the food took long, conveying through the oven was a mere few minutes, but because the employees were more concerned with anything but the customers or putting out the food. The couple in front of me ordered and they waited to complete their order without acknowledging me or anyone behind me until that order was complete. Then when they did take my order it was like I was bothering them. I honestly don't know what it was called that I got, but it was a white pizza more akin to garlic bread. When it came out I asked for it to be topped with more Parm. The drink selection here was a miss. Bottled water sat in a cooler that blew hot air rather than cold air, but you do have to remember, this is an airport. The customer service here really needs to be worked on as it is horrible and dismissive. read more

First of all, do not use the Dulles Airport Grab app to order ahead. As I was abruptly told by the cashier, they don't accept online orders. (Another family found this out the hard way as well while I was there.) When I showed the woman at the counter my order confirmation, she yelled at me to "go over there" and pointed at the line. I went over there and waited for 25 minutes, but the line moves very slow here, and it was clear they were not going to be able to fill my order by the time I had to catch my plane. I went back to the counter to ask if she could help me, but she yelled at me again to go back in line. I finally got to the woman making the pizzas, but she couldn't make my full order by the time I had to board, so I had to get back out of line, at which point the woman who had yelled at me threw two of the three pizzas at me and yelled at me again. I wish I knew what she was saying, but sadly, I don't speak the language she was yelling in. Would not recommend unless you like being berated and waiting forever in line! read more

Prepare to be disappointed and ignored. Sat down at the bar waited five minutes to recognize I needed something but they have no beer on tap or bottle. So I wanted food and a soda and she pointed me to another line where I ordered the lil pepperoni. It certainly did not look like the picture. Very disappointing hardly any toppings. The pizza itself was probably a six and I did not have to wait long once I ordered. And the guy at checkout was very nice. read more

This is a better quality version of the fast pizza trend. Higher end ingredients and some nice preselect choices for a more upscale pizza. I tried this new pizza place based on the reviews and so glad I did since it was such a nice surprise to find it to be so fresh and delicious! It was amazing that the build your own pizza was the same price no matte toppings you decided to place on top of it and there were plenty of delicious toppings to choose from! Excellent pizza and a great concept with Chipotle style selections, but with the worst, and I mean the worst service workers. Half the time you stand there they are yelling at each other. I ordered food online expecting it to be done when I got there. The man cooking the pizza completely ignored me when I tried to figure out how to pick up my mobile order. I flew out of Dulles Airport on Friday evening, and stopped here for a pizza. The server was unhelpful and said he was charging a $1 extra for anything that was part of the offerings, and is usually free. I ate the vegetarian offerings-pineapples, spinach, chickpeas-and it turned my stomach. I was vomiting and had diarrhea the whole plane trip to my destination. I'm not sure if the ingredients were bad, or if the server was unhygienic as he kept wiping his exposed hands on his apron, before adding ingredients without gloves. read more

Place was old and dirty. Pizza had weird names and ingredients did not look fresh. Pizza greasy and overpriced, but hey, it's an airport place. The problem was the service. Probably the absolute worst service we've ever experienced. Lady taking orders was yelling at unsuspecting customers waiting in line asking for their orders from 10 feet away. Lady at register with the glasses and hijab seemed absolutely disturbed and could not effectively communicate. She was very rude and condescending. She stepped away when it was our turn to pay without saying anything! I looked at the total on the screen and left cash on the counter. We had a flight to catch so I started walking away only to hear her yelling for me to come back. I had to repeat the the cash was on the counter, right next to the register that she walked away from before she finally calmed down. Once she saw it, there was no apology. What appeared to be the man anger, a middle aged man, showed up about then. The feeling I got is that he was a little sheepish knowing that this is how this ride employees behaves, yet no apology at all. I would give this place negative 5 stars if it was possible!! You're better finding a clean and friendly place than encouraging this poor excuse for a pizza place! read more

The build-your-own pizza was worth it during our short layover. Hubby and I shared one and quite enjoyed it. The customer service, on the other hand, was rude. I requested sausage as one of my toppings and the lady was placing some sliced pepperoni on my pizza. When I stopped her and asked about the other topping (which looked like the actual sausage I wanted), she started getting angry. The sad part was, I couldn't even understand her so I accepted the sliced "sausage" that I didn't request. She shook her head at me and aggressively pushed trays into the oven. All in all, I didn't care much as I needed a quick bite but I do think their rude behavior should be noted. (Oh, and no one working there was wearing a mask; all of their masks were placed under their chins. Lame.) read more

This is fairly good pizza and considering how bad airport food can be, that is no small achievement. Pick your ingredients well, the rich ones seem to make the best pies.
