Fast service, but the chicken noodle soup was super salty. Beware! The chili dog was good but it was a bit spicy. It was fair for some airport food but the one in dc is definitely better. Inside was clean and cute. It was bright.

Honestly for a quick snack before a flight, this was great. It's the first time I've tried this. At 5 AM it might not have been the best choice but the bright signage, clean esthetic and wonderful history convinced me that a half smoke with chili and onions were a great idea! Ha. The kiosk was a quick way to order with options for personalized dog. I had this split and grilled with the chili and raw onions. It was very small and almost $10 so I'm glad I wasn't that hungry. Still, it was savory, tasty and hit the spot!

I'm here and just ordered breakfast. Two eggs over easy, home fries ,half smoked, whole wheat toast. The lady cooking my eggs "fried them, broke one of the yolks and they were brown! Eggs should NEVER be brown! I asked her to make them over, she proceeds to make them over. As I watched her crack the eggs onto the grill and proceed to place a lid over them, wait a few seconds and then proceeded to scrape the whites together on the grill top! She then proceeded to gather up the oil on the grill and drizzle it over the eggs (WTF)!!! After two minutes she turned the eggs and I could see that they were brown again and she'd broken the yolk again! I told her I didn't want them and that she could just make me two soft scrambled eggs (those were horrible too) !! The home fries weren't cooked all the way through and they were cold, the toast was not toasted !! The cashier was out of order as she was talking to the customer behind me before she'd even handed me my receipt and proceeded to take his order . He then pays as he steps into my personal space! I almost tripped over his bag! This is my first time ever eating at this establishment and if the food and service at the DC location is anything like this location I won't be going there!

Ben's Chili Bowl is an iconic Washington DC restaurant chain. They recently opened a location in the B-Gate area across from Gates B71-73. They have both carry out food and onsite seating. There are booths, counter seating, and a couple of small tables available. They are famous for their homemade chili con carne and half smoke hot dogs. Here is what you should know: 1) Ben's Chili bowl is a fast food casual restaurant. Nothing fancy. 2) They are known for their classic chili dogs, chili burgers, salads, bowls and subs. Their menu also lists veggie burgers and subs. 3) All day breakfast is available. 4) Chili cheese fries and chili nachos? YES! 5) Service will depend on how busy the airport is. There was only one person ahead of me when I stepped up to place my order. Their kitchen is pretty good at cranking out orders. 6) I believe they are open 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. 7) Be aware that flying can cause Intestinal gas discomfort during flights due to changes in cabin pressure. As the plane ascends, the air pressure decreases, causing gases in the body to expand, which can lead to bloating and the need to pass gas more frequently. Walking around the cabin and stretching during the flight can aid in reducing discomfort by promoting better digestion and circulation. Do your friends, family and fellow passengers a favor... use the airplane lavatory as needed and enjoy Ben's Chili Bowl!

Arby's - curly fries

It's Arby's and these days it's "meh" at best. We went to this Arby's because my husband had been…read morewanting to try their Reuben sandwich. He got it as a meal which meant it came with soda and curly fries. I tried their cheese steak sub and just got a soda. Most of their business is from the drive through window. So, we had the dining room area to ourselves, which we liked. The staff was nice and apologetic because they had a back up of orders to deal with. We said "no problem". Still, we didn't have to wait long for our food. All the ingredients were there but the food was nothing to write home about. My husband said his sandwich was edible but he's had a lot better elsewhere. My cheese steak didn't have much flavor and was on the soggy side. I had a couple of the curly fries and we both were unimpressed as they were luke warm at best. The sodas --- no complaints there. Well...we don't regret going here as we wondered how Arby's was these days. Now that we got that out of our systems, no need to go again.

It was empty and still I had to wait almost 15 minutes, I thought it was supposed to be fast food? The sandwich was bad, dry, chewy meat, the smell was off, just unedible. Too bad I opened it while driving, if I was not already late for my appointment I would have gone back and asked for a refund. Not cheap too, an experiment gone wrong, $9.95 thrown away!

It took about a minute to get our order. They're also not adding much color to dishes, which is particularly noticeable in the BBQ pork buns which are typically a vibrant red color. We ordered a variety of buns and a kung pao chicken bowl. My favorite was the Coconut Custard bun. It's a mildly flavored and slightly sweet bun. The three savory buns honestly were a bit of a blur. The teriyaki chicken was minced chicken which was reminiscent of teriyaki. It also had something that reminded me of preserved mustard greens (mei cai). The bbq pork bun was a bit sweet and gingery which I wasn't expecting. I liked the Mongolian beef the least mostly because the meat was ground into a paste. Overall, flavors were non-traditional but ok. I was missing texture (very ground and soft meat). The size of the buns were medium (?), roughly 3". I think most people could eat a 4 pack and it would get the job done without being very full. I just had a bite of the kung pao chicken bowl. Honestly, not very reminiscent of kung pao chicken - looking for tender pieces of chicken, crunchy peanuts, and a burst of chile - which this doesn't deliver on. Overall, if you're ok with a softer, finely ground meat filling and non-traditional flavors, this might be the place for you.

Well done Airport Potbelly team!!!…read more This place was beyond busy and pretty much non-stop during our 1.5 layover. We saw a constant line - close to our gate...however the line was moving...no person really stood in place for very long. Their system is pretty slick...they keep people moving and every staff member at their station was focused and attentive and helping to keep customers focused and paying attention. It's a bit of a cattle call line, however, everything was neat, organized, accessible and signage was viewable and readable from whereever you were standing in line. My sandwich was exactly how I requested. Well prepared, great amount of toppings and for a $13 sandwich it was a very generous portion. Easy to take on the plane. I would definitely recommend this location for a more "fresh" food option.

Felt like a better balance of flavors without so much bread. Order was: Chicken salad wrap, provolone, lettuce, cucumbers, Italian seasoning. Portion size was generous, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. In the mid-afternoon, this area is a good place to take a break in the airport. A few of the gates right around Potbelly were almost empty. I collapsed on a row of seats near the window and leisurely consumed my wrap while watching planes go by. It was quite pleasant. Marking off a star because I ordered ahead on their app while I was walking across the airport and they didn't make it until I got there, even though I had allowed 20 minutes for them to prepare it. No signage explaining where to go for pre-orders, so I had to flag someone down at the registers and she found the slip for the order. Then she sort of begrudgingly made it and handed it to me without any commentary. So yeah, seems to be a common theme here. No one was particularly friendly and they didn't actually make my order until I asked, but the food was good and at least somewhat healthy.
