Good bakery. Got an ice tea and pistachio croissant. I don't really taste the pistachio but it's still good. Service is quick. Very friendly staff. Some seatings and tables inside.

Met my expectations for a toasty buttery breakfast. The plain bagel with jam & butter was deliciously sweet, jam dripping from all corners. The Almond Brioche Bread was a huge slice with the right amount of almonds. Service was good, place is constantly busy. Plenty of community tables to sit and people watch through the Chelsea Market. The only setback was that at 9am they were already out of homemade hot chocolate & yes that means Mocha too.

I've been to Amy's Bread at Chelsea Market before, and we returned because of 1) their delicious bread and 2) the availability of seating (many of the other food stalls at Chelsea Market are a grab-and-go situation). The fresh breads and cakes are presented beautifully, and it is easy to walk out with more treats than you intended to buy. My group ordered toasted sesame bagels with cream cheese, lattes, and an olive bread stick for the road. The bagels and coffee were served within minutes, and we settled at a table to enjoy our late-morning breakfast. While not standouts, the bagels with a generous spread of cream cheese hit the spot. We enjoyed the olive bread the next day, and while it would have tasted better fresh and/or toasted, the olive flavor was still delicious.

Inside Chelsea Market. I just got the ciabatta (perfection) and twisted semolina bread sticks (with raisins), such great texture and taste! So delish.

Dropped by here during a visit to Chelsea market to get some sourdough bread. Well priced and good bread! I enjoyed some sourdough bread with olive oil - very satisfying!

Great place to stop by for some baked goods and take a walk through the highline as you leave your visit to Chelsea Market PISTACHIO TWIST Not something you see everywhere, and would have liked the pistachio flavor to be bolder, but the pieces of pistachio add a nice crunch overall and the dough was soft, and flaky. Enjoyed it still :) Their claim to fame is their sticky bun, which was also pretty good but I can't say I'm well versed in the sticky bun scene of NYC so hard to compare to what else is out there for me. Will come back and get some of their other items!

Bagel was AMAZING! Cute little coffee shop in Chelsea Market. Bagel was the best I had in NY. Service was quick and friendly. Had places to sit. Would highly recommend.

I have to try more of their products. I got the butterscotch cashew bar and a Parker roll. Weird combination but I was starving. I'm not really a fan of cashews, I don't get them, but give me butterscotch and toffee any day. I don't know why I expected to for the cashew bar to taste like peanut brittle, thankfully it didn't. The cashew bar is awesome. The bar is actually very soft to eat, gooey, and not overpowering to eat. I couldn't feed it to my mouth fast enough. The cashew bar is what I've hoped that Blondie brownies would taste like. The yellow cake with pink frosting was calling my name, but I was able to walk away. The Parker roll tasted like a Parker roll. Next time I'm in, I'll be sure to try the yellow cake.

It was a dream come true to finally eat at Amy's Bread. I didn't care if it was 7:30 AM, I wasn't going to leave the shop without of a piece of their Pink Frosted Yellow Cake. It's something straight out of a dream. Thick, rich, buttery cake generously coated with a delectable vanilla icing that sent my taste buds straight to heaven. So good, I couldn't keep myself from eating the entire slice. Plus, it's just adorable. Taste and presentation truly outshines all the cake slices I'v ever eaten in New York (which is so many only God knows). I also picked up a Bacon & Cheese Croissant which was an excellent contrast to the super sweet cake. It was everything I'd ever imagined.

Sticky bun - I tried this after 7 hours of purchasing so I won't have the most accurate review. But it wasn't too sweet and the dough was like a Cinnabon texture (a bit tough and cardboard box type texture). The flavor isn't overwhelming at all - if anything it can add more flavor. It doesn't lack but can use more flavor. Overall I think this compares to a cinnamon roll. The inside is definitely more moist and soaked in the cinnamon juice and coating. Pistachio croissant roll - there's a hint of pistachio flavor.. but it needs more of that because if you didn't know it was a pistachio flavor, you wouldn't really be able to recognize what flavor it was. Also tried the sourdough bread roll - just as you expect it to taste. Nothing more or less. Service was fine - the workers all asked me if I was being helped but wasn't the friendliest of bunch. Ambiance is nice. It gives me a home bakery type feel. I don't recall what they're famous for but I don't think I'll be coming back. 6/10

Great pastry. Good coffee. Tiny and cozy place, but there was no crowd. I enjoyed it.

I've only had the cupcake here but the cupcake was solid! I got the chocolate on chocolate and the cupcake itself was moist, full of rich, dark- chocolately flavor. I had bought a dozen and unfortunately could not finish the cupcakes all in one sitting among our party. Luckily, after sticking the cupcakes in an airtight container, they remained just as moist as the first day I got them!! Would recommend these over Magnolia Bakery cupcakes or Sprinkles cupcakes for sure!

I went to the Chelsea location five mins before closing and got their sticky bun. It was incredible! I'd love to return and try more bakery items :)

We came in around 1:30pm on Saturday and there was a line, but I didn't wait longer than 20 minutes. There's really no menu on site, so you can kind of just listen to what people are ordering and figure out what sounds good. Originally, I was going to get two sandwiches, but I saw the size of them and decided we really only needed one full one. I got the gravy on the size, which I definitely recommend if you're going to be eating it even just a little bit later. This worked well for us, as we had about a 20 minute drive home. The mozz was fantastic and so was the roast beef. I would come back just to order both by the pound. I didn't love the bread, so I think my next step would be to just buy all the ingredients myself and then provide my own bread at home. Service was very prompt and friendly.

I've lived in or been visiting NYC since the 60s and never noticed this place. I peeked in and saw that it looked authentic. I made a mental note to come back when dinner time rolled around. I looked over the menu and ordered their namesake, the Cappone: Capicola, Soppressata, Salami, Provolone, Arugula, Mozzarella, Hot Peppers. I asked which bread they recommended (seeded loaf) and went with that. It was an exemplary sandwich. Plus it was enough for 2 meals! I cannot recommend them high enough. 100 stars!

If you like italian sandwiches definitely check this place out. I think after trying several italian sandwich spots I don't think it's necessarily for me but the meatball sub was tasty and definitely worth the money. It's a small mom and pop shop vibe inside and you can order ahead which is great because sometimes the line gets really long especially on the weekends. The people were nice. It's close to a park so you can eat outside with a coffee and enjoy a quick lunch. It's nice to have a place that is a little more no-frills in the west village and you can pick it up on a lazy weekend, in the middle of a workday, etc.

I had been saying for days that I was craving a good Italian deli sandwich, and my partner came across Vito's & Son Italian Deli in Hoboken. Well, it does not get much more authentic than this. What an experience. You know how some Italian restaurants say they make you feel like family? At Vito's, we actually felt it the moment we walked in. The welcome was warm, genuine, and immediate -- the kind of hospitality that cannot be faked. As we browsed the extensive deli menu, I had to ask what "mutz" meant. I am from Chicago, where we usually say "mozz," so this was my first time seeing it written in what I can only call New Jersey-ian. Without hesitation, they gave us a sample of their fresh, in-house-made mozzarella, and it was absolute perfection -- soft, fresh, creamy, and exactly what fresh mozzarella should be. We took several subs to go, and every single one was delicious. I had The Vito's, which was incredibly satisfying -- packed with that classic Italian deli flavor and everything I had been craving in a sub, and then some. My partner had The Sophia Loren, which was also full of flavor and definitely worth ordering again. My mom had what I ordered as a custom Caprese sandwich since I could not find it on the extensive menu -- mutz, fresh basil, tomato, balsamic vinaigrette, and herbs. It was so fresh, simple, and delicious. We also tried the arancini. The traditional one brought back memories of what used to be some of the best arancini in Chicago at Monastero's, which sadly is no longer around. That is not a comparison I make lightly. The cheese arancini was also wonderful, and the sauce was divine. Personal preference: I could have used just a touch more salt in the sauce, but the flavor was still excellent. Of course, we could not leave without dessert. The cannoli had the perfect balance of softness and crunch, and the filling was delicious. And naturally, we had to take home a pound of that fresh mutz. When we got home, we turned the leftovers into the perfect little Italian deli dinner. We thinly sliced the remaining halves of the subs, added fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, balsamic vinaigrette, and wine. It became a charcuterie-style dinner that felt like the perfect ending to the trip. Taking a detour through Hoboken was absolutely worth it. Some Italian restaurants claim to treat you like family, but at Vito's & Son, we truly felt it. We are already planning another stop on our next trip because we still need to try the homemade freezer dishes -- and, of course, the homemade tiramisu. If you have not been to Vito's & Son Italian Deli, do yourself a favor and go. Authentic, welcoming, delicious, and completely worth the detour.
