Came in here last week because I've been wanting to try the cookie cake. It did not disappoint! They had two flavors of the cookie cake to choose from - funfetti and then some other chocolate one. The cookies are big, soft and chewy. Some of them are too sweet, but they have a lot of variety. I really liked the chocolate ones. They're so good with a tall glass of milk or a cup of coffee. The only flavor I would definitely stay away from is the Funfetti. It's way too sweet; it is a sugar cookie... but everything else we tried was great. Came across this large beautiful modern looking cookie shop after having dessert next door. Started looking around and immediately was drawn to their Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookie. Bacon on a cookie? Damn was I wrong. The cookie was delicious and a decent sized portion. I ended up also getting the red velvet cookie since they had a BOGO deal going on. $3.25 well spent. I came last month and got a slice of the funfetti cookie cake and I wasn't super impressed - it was good but nothing better than something you'd get at a grocery store. We happened to be walking by one evening, post-dinner, and were lured in by the wafting smell of fresh baked cookies, but the cookies were only okay. We asked the guy at the counter what he recommended and so we went with the Classic and Apple Crisp. Maybe the other dessert options and the ice cream cookie sandwich are better but we didn't get to try those. If the shop isn't too busy, you can ask that the cookies be warmed up, but even then, I thought the smell was more enticing than the cookie itself. I'm a huge cookie lover, but wasn't that impressed by the cookie. Staff was super friendly which makes this meh review that much harder to write. I was waffling between 3.5 and 4, but went with 4 due to the friendly customer service. It was our first visit and happened to be during happy hour where if you order 2 cookies, it's additional $1 for a small drink. I used the Yelp check-in perk for a glass of milk instead. Of the 4 cookies, the Earl Grey chocolate chip with orange and the Choconut Chip were the best. The Earl Grey had a richer flavor profile with the orange zest making it feel like an adult cookie. Choconut chip had coconut flakes and walnuts although I didn't taste much of the latter. The strawberry covered chocolate cookie was a miss for me as the artificial strawberry flavor was too sweet and it ended up tasting of a poptart instead of a fancy cookie. I had high hopes for the Ginger Rogers as ginger cookies are my fave, but the icing detracted from it and it didn't have a warm spice profile. Next time, I'll stick to the variations on the chocolate chip. Or explore unusual flavors via the $1 day old cookie bin. read more

Went to the new Schmackary's location on Saturday afternoon to get a slice of cookies and cream cookie cake. I've been a Schmackary's fan for years, so I just had to try their newest creation. It was delicious! From the frosting between each layer of cookies to the cookies themselves, everything was perfectly soft and sweet.
