Not ideal for me of course but great if the shoe had been on the other foot. It's a pretty cozy space so I waited for the appointment to wrap up by admiring the small town views and a few new pair of glasses. Dr. Nguyen was a pleasure. She was knowledgeable and made sure that I had just as much of an understanding of what was going on with my eyes. I didn't feel rushed at all going through my exam and she gave me thoughtful suggestions on my next steps to ensure that my eye health was being prioritized. I also appreciated that Dr. Nguyen sanitized the equipment before having me use each machine. At the front desk for check out, the woman who helped me there was also really patient as I scrambled to find my HSA card to pay. It started pouring down raining and she was even kind enough to walk me through the back door to my car so I wouldn't get as wet. I will be ordering my new contacts from here soon and was told the turnaround time is really quick. I look forward to receiving them and I am excited to have a new eye doctor.

Many times I have had to have the glasses redone to prescription on problems with the lenses or frames and they were good to average but never outstanding. Since I have had problems getting a quality pair of glasses, I was referred to Ryan Perez at 1220 N. Town East Blvd, Ste 220, Mesquite TX 75150. Mr Perez took the time to fit me in the proper frames that I was looking for and explaining all options available to me for my new glasses. I have had my new glasses that Mr. Perez made fro me for three months and they are truly, the best pair that I have ever had. Mr. Perez recommended a Digitally HD coating with my Vera Lux and Progressive Lens. The moment that I put them on was noticeable different from my last pair. The best way to describe my new pair is to use a television comparison. My new pair was like 1080P HD, my last pair 720P with out HD. The color spectrum was more pronounced, brighter more colorful, both inside and outdoors, even the sky looked different, everything looked more alive. Disappointing Experience with Pushy Sales Tactics…read more I want to start by saying the exam process was simple, and I had no issues with the doctor. However, my issue lies with the experience of getting my glasses prescription filled. From the beginning, I made it very clear that I wanted a basic, affordable second pair of glasses. I mentioned this multiple times--at least three times--but I felt pushed toward more expensive options that I didn't want. When I finally chose a frame covered by my insurance, I was told that my lenses required special processing because of my prescription. The price I was quoted for the lenses was over $500. When I said I couldn't afford that and didn't intend to spend more than $300, the price suddenly dropped to $308 within seconds. Why wasn't this lower option presented to me in the first place? The sudden shift in pricing felt shady and left me questioning the transparency of the process. It felt like I was being pressured into spending more than necessary, and the whole experience came across as unprofessional. I hope this feedback encourages a more honest and straightforward approach in the future. Customers should feel respected and confident in their choices--not pushed into something they don't want or can't afford.
