The service was horrendous! They sat me down with this guy who kept hurting me and got pissed off and sent another lady to take over. Both were agitated but what was I suppose to do let them continue burning and hurting me???? The finished product was awesome which is why it gets 2 stars. At the end, the nail tech was mad that I didnt have cash and guess what no one else did either! After I signed the recepit she didnt even wait for a tip she just turned around and walked away! Don't waste your time. I gave this place a few tries today was just horrible. I walked in and the lady said it would be 20 minutes before I could be seated for a pedicure. Okay. I went shopping came back. They seated me, turned on water and expected me to let my feet soak for another 20 minutes. About 10 minutes in I asked how long it would take no one replied so I got up and left. These people are rude and will lie to you to get you to come back. Also their pedicures are just okay. Bonus: I left my headphones there and when i went back they said they didn't have them. Go to Hollywood nails or final touch. Don't give these asshats your business or time. read more

Wait a few days before you review this place. My list of concerns has only gotten longer since my appointment two days ago. Bottom line - avoid unless you have no options and don't bother springing for the upcharges. When my mom and I walked in for mani-pedis, there was only one customer, so the ladies in the shop were immediately available to help us. I had some questions about what options were best to rehab my very weak nails and the one woman in charge gave me solid recommendations. The two women who helped me were nice; they didn't really engage with me verbally much, but that's ok. My concerns started to roll in as the nail painting began. I asked for gel polish on my hands and regular polish on my toes. Neither of the technicians were very precise with the brush and had to repeatedly clean up the edges of my nails either with their nails, scraping along the sides, or with a brush dipped in acetone. The latter option highlighted where the technician working on my hands had cut my cuticles too low, as it stung a little (and was later tender and swollen by the next day). With the brush, they occasionally took off too much and had to go back and fill it in again. This made the mani-pedi take much longer than I think it should have. Also, the end result on my hands specifically looked about as good as when I do it myself. The other issue with the woman who was working on my hands is that I don't think she was actually keeping track of the timer on the UV/LED light (which I'll say I was happy to see it was cordless, because the cords become cumbersome when you're sitting in the spa pedicure chair). She also didn't cap off the free edge of the nail. With an ending bill of $65 (plus a $10 tip) without too many bells and whistles (no designs or special requests), I expect it all to last. I specifically get gel polish because it's supposed to last and it didn't. By the next day, the index finger on my non-dominant hand was already chipped. Day two, the index, middle and ring fingers on my dominant hand are all chipped. There are various bumps and bubbles in the polish and it's not neat around the cuticle like I would expect a professional job to be. I've also had to peel the residual polish off the skin around the nail. I was only visiting the area so I'm really annoyed that I wasted my time and money and can't go back for a refund or fix. The only upside is that I've been looking for the right shade of blush for my skin tone and they happened to have what I've been searching for (and it's now on my toes and en route to me via Amazon). My daughter & I have been using Amerinails for many years and the technicians are great here. My daughter always gets a mani/pedi with gel on her fingers. Her polish will lady a good 2 weeks which is normal for gel. She is also hard on her hands/feet so it's great that it lasts so long. I typically have a mani/pedi with fills. I always get a French mani using the pink fill. Nancy has always been super helpful and friendly. I stopped getting fills for a few years & decided I needed to start again to help grow my nails out. Nancy discussed with me the best plan of action for my needs. My daughter and I almost always request a design on a toe & sometimes on our fingers. Some women are much better than others when it comes to flowers. That being said the couple of times I was unhappy with my flower either Nancy or one of the other workers immediately removed the polish & redid the flower. Lastly I read a review that mentioned halfway through the mani the worker stopped & demanded payment. 1: in all the years I have gone to this salon I have never seen anyone pay mid-mani. This is crazy & most people are smart enough to realize one should only pay after the service is provided. 2: as with most nail salons most of the workers are Asian. They always do their best to communicate with their customers & if they have a hard time there are always several workers who speak fluent English. There is another nail salon in the same mall that is also Asian, I've gone there once only to walk out because the works didn't understand a word of English & made me uncomfortable. I think maybe the previous reviewer reviewed the wrong salon. Lastly Amerinails is very clean (unlike the other salon in the mall). Their chairs are always in new condition (replaced regularly), the massages always work, the tubs are scrubbed after each person, and most importantly the tools are all very clean. I absolutely LOVE this salon! I've gone a few times and had Nancy or Frank..they both did an amazing job and made sure there were no flaws with my nails. Frank even guaranteed his and all of his employees work! So if my nail breaks or I decide i'm not completely satisfied I can go back in and he said he'll fix it which i thought was awesome seeing as most nail salons offer no apologies or fixes after you leave there salon. Overall this salon is awesome the service is great they are all very friendly and easy to talk to. They do there job fast, but are very good at what they do so it's not a sloppy mess once your done. Very good nail salon, in my opinion. I have had fills by Nancy and pedicures by Tammy. Nancy is very meticulous but can also get a fill done pretty quickly. Their pedicures are very relaxing, they spend a lot of time on the massage (which is always a plus in my book). The most important thing to me is how clean the salon is. A lot of salons don't take cleanliness seriously. I always see these girls cleaning up right after an appointment. Another added benefit is their shellac Polish has matching nail polish colors (great if you want your toenails to match your nails). I would recommend to a friend or family member. read more

I came down to visit family for Christmas and really wanted my nails filled. So I stopped by Americnails. It wasn't the best expericence. :( The lady barley spoke english.we talked for 5 mins about what I want and she still didn't do it right. She tried to charge me $65.00 for plain Matt black nails.she told me she could not change the shape. I just needed a fill and gel and it ended up being $45.00 she hurt me twice. She made me bleed and in the end my nails were not Matt. She promisted me but I still feel they are too shiny. She left bubbles on my nails and you can even see where she filled and filled down my nails. I guess I'm just lucky my nail guy is amazing and has need doing this for 10 years + read more

I walked in and wasn't greeted at all. She just said what do you want to get done. I told her a full set and asked how much if I wanted them matte she said $65! I thought wow that's super expensive. She saw me looking at the prices they had posted and I said it says $25 right here. She said those are for regular square shape and short nails. I then said I just want coffin shape with pink powder instead of the white. That was all I wanted. She said that was ugly. Well excuse me for wanting something simple. I don't like super long diamond filled nails. Not my style. So I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she said ok 45. I should of walked out. The nail tech took a really long time so I thought she would do an excellent job but no. In the middle of the service she asked me to pay. Which I thought was weird. I gave her the 45 and since she saw I gave her no tip she started being rude. I asked her to fix two of my nails because they weren't even. She didn't say anything back in english. She went and said her little shit talking in her language. Whatever typical chop shop place. I didn't give her a tip because she kept hurting my cuticles. She burned my skin with the file as she was sanding down the sides of my nails. Then she just walked away and just left me sitting there. I got up and left. So unprofessional and rude!! She ruined my eyebrows. I should have known better... she wouldn't let me hold the mirror, and rushed me. Told me she fixed them up. Once they were no longer RED FROM THE BURNING HOT WAX she used, they were jacked up. Sad thing, I just let them grow back from a previous train wreck. I really wish establishments like this didn't offer services they are not equipt for. I'm sure they took some fly by course if they are even licensed at all. This place i guess has been open for a while, i went here maybe 2 or 3 years ago and it was i guess ok. I was shopping with my girls and decided to give it another try. When we finished signing in and everything the cutest little asian lady greeted us. She started telling us it was taken over by new management and every thing's different. Love this place at the mall , always get a pedicure here . They are professional and make my toes look super cute .Also they have great prices and they are more affordable than the other nail place at the other side of the mall. I thought my nails looked nice until i noticed they were lopsided. Also my nails were obviously dry for quite some time but they insisted they weren't and left me drying my nails on the little fan for over 45 minutes!! I got sick of waiting and asked to leave. read more
