Perfect ratio of meat, seasoning, cheese, sauce, toppings and grease with a smashed bun that compliments and holds together like it's supposed to. A friend told me this truck had the best burger in town. Ok, so we meet there at The Podski, grab a beer and order. I ordered the BBQ burger and fries. The order was up before our beer was finished which is saying something since it was pretty busy at the pod. This burger was so good it may cause me to be hesitant to order anything similar at another place. Perfectly seasoned smash burger style with the right amount of sauce and cheese that was crispy on the edges. So freaking good! The fries aren't fresh cut but salted perfectly and definitely go well with a beer. A person sitting near us who was eating sushi made note of how good our food looked and smelled and asked how it was. I told her I thought it was the best burger in Bend. Poor girl looked down at her sushi like it had committed a crime. Overall, a great place at a comfortable and friendly location. I'll be headed back soon. I have tried my fair share in this town and none compare to this food truck. It starts with phenomenal, quality ingredients: great beef, properly seasoned, thick cut bacon and then pick your poison - if you like a creamy/saucy burger with some spice, get the jalapeño burger. If you like a simple, but well executed juicy burger, then get their OG (recommend adding bacon). Such a great price point may I add. I am telling you GO. Try it! It's truly amazing. Some of the best burgers I've ever had!! The burger was cooked just right and the toppings were the perfect amount. The buns were toasted on the grill which added that extra flavor, it hit the spot. No doubt about it! They do not serve fry's or tots, just bagged chips as a side option. Regardless I would definitely come back and get another burger. The two men working were very welcoming and had great customer service. The food truck is parked right outside of spider city brewing which makes it easy to grab a drink while you wait for your grub, which we did and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend! read more
