This review is for two partial bathroom renovations: 1. Converting a walking shower to a bath tub, 2. Replace an existing bathtub. The bath tub walls were replaced with gorgeous large white tile, changed out both shower arms, shower heads, faucets valves, spouts. New interior plumbing installed. After interviewing several contractors I decided to go with Amcor. I'm really glad that I did. The new bathrooms turned out beautiful and functional! We cannot believe how hard they worked (8-9hrs/day 6 days/week) and how much they were able to accomplish in less than 5 weeks (new kitchen, 2x bathrooms, flooring/walls/fixtures throughout, took a wall down, put another wall up, removed built-ins in 3 bedrooms, tiled the lanai, a much more). We were concerned that communication would be a struggle (mostly Chinese speaking), but Connie served as a reliable translator. The job was priced fair. The workers were on time. I reached out to Amcor to inquire about converting an old slider closet into a larder cupboard/pantry. Our home was remodeled by the previous owner and the slider closet felt out of place and I wanted a way to convert it into something usable and integrated with my current kitchen. I went through this company to redo my old kitchen from 1975. From start to finish they were amazing. They listened to everything I wanted and asked me about things I didn't even think about. I even asked them to remove a wall to open my kitchen up into my living room. Of course it was no problem for them! We recently completed a remodel of the master bathroom and the kitchen with Amcor Construction. Aaron and Connie recommended vendors & let us choose materials. Their communication was very thorough and they were both very responsive. We remained living in the house for almost the entire construction process. The team was very patient and respectful of our space, and gave us warnings when we'd lose running water (which was never for very long). The quality of the work was excellent, and happened at a pace that allowed us to check in frequently. All feedback provided to the workers was accepted immediately & acted upon very quickly. Touch ups were promptly addressed without any pushback. The only drawback was communication with the worker required to use a translation app with what needs to be decided & what the plans are. Last year was stressful since this is my first home purchase + renovation, but they made the renovation process smooth. I ended up choosing Amcor out of all three contractors I consulted with because of the price and the different inputs they contributed to my idea. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and patient with me. There were some issues with the contractors not leaving the condo on time since my building has rules with renovations, and there were some times when they left the hallway dirty. But don't think their quality is indicative of their price because they did stellar work. Aaron and Connie are really easy to work with and respond quickly with any questions that I had.
