I had heard really good things but I was a bit underwhelmed. I had the jalapeño burger and the patty was extremely well down and tough. It looked like a square piece of deli cheese topped with 5 pickled jalapeño. The fries seemed like the same quality of fries that would come from a store bought frozen bag. Maybe their main smash burger is tastier so I'd recommend give that a shot first.

Delicious burgers and fries! Love their kickin Jalapeño dip. This food truck is located near the Walmart in Round Rock off Palm Valley. You can conveniently order for pick up on their website and they have a delivery option via DoorDash. I have had the smash burger and loved it so today I ordered the Blazing Jalapeño Jack burger. Delicious! Love that they were not shy with the jalapeños. The onion rings were delicious. I noticed today when ordering they have chicken sandwiches so I will be back to try it.

Reviewing again after a year. We just ordered for pickup. The burgers are always so tasty. It's their meet. It is so fresh and you can taste the beefiness (if that makes sense). They're large and thick. The brisket burger was ultra decadent. It was perfectly smoked and my husband loved it. Their Cajun fries (and regular fries) come with the burgers and were tasty as usual. We upgraded for onion rings on one of them for $2.50. They were dipped in a thick, slightly sweet funnel cake batter. They were very unique. Their fried pickles are great! They used to be disks but now they're fries. They're still just as tasty. I recommend this place to anyone who wants great burgers and well executed sides.

The Burger was on point! The beer batter Oinion rings are "Damn good burgers " The pick your own options are pretty good on the menu.

4 instead of 3 because of service!! 4 instead of 5 because of the dry burgers and fatty bacon. The employee when we arrived was very helpful and courteous! We ordered the brisket burger, a cheeseburger, a bacon cheeseburger, and a side of onion rings. I was super excited to try this place but honestly didn't know it was a food truck. For a food truck the burgers came out as expected. Not sure how they are greasy and dry at the same time. Im guessing with a "smash burger" the juice gets smashed out of it? Idk but all of them were dry!! My daughters burger had bacon and she therw it away, it was disgustingly fatty!! I did offer to cook it for her but she declined. The onion rings were amazing but for the price I expected a few more‍ Overall, if I come back it will be to get the sides, not a burger.

The crinkle cut cajun fries were the star of the show. Great crisp to the fries and a fantastic seasoning. The burger while fine in flavor was overcooked and dry. I'll give this place another try to see if their smash burgers are any better.

This place is a food truck located on a lot on Highway 79 approximately 1/4 MI West of County Road 110. It is easy to miss the entrance. I have read numerous reviews and have been meaning to try their Smash Burgers for a number of months. Today was the day I finally decided to come out and try them. The food is cooked in a trailer and there is a 20 by 40 ft building next to it with picnic tables and propane heaters for diners to sit in relative comfort. Instead of ordering off the menu, I asked the cook what he recommended. He suggested that unless I was extremely hungry I should order the single burger with whatever vegetables I wanted on it put on Texas toast. That seemed good to me and I was happy with the Texas toast instead of a regular bun. All in all the burger was okay but not spectacular as other diners had experienced. It was a little on the dry side and the meat was extremely well done. I would have preferred a little more juiciness in the meat. I ordered mine with extra onions, no ketchup and no mustard. There could have been more mayonnaise on it though. The french fries we're nothing to write home about. They were very salty and I ordered mine as cajun fries. They simply sprinkled Cajun seasoning on top of the already salty french fries. The price was reasonable and not much higher than I would have spent at Whataburger. All in all I probably would not bring a guest out here thinking that they were going to get a magical Burger experience. I might try it one more time by myself just to see if I got them on an off day.

Ambur fire has one of the biggest and best smashed style burgers in Austin. They definitely have some Texas size burgers! We also love their wings especially the lemon pepper and Hickory & brown sugar bbq flavors. The lemon pepper wings were a little small this time, one of the pieces half the meat was gone. The bbq is not too sweet, a little tangy, and has a great smoky flavor. The meat is always cooked with flavor and super tender. The blackened ranch is delicious, and goes great with their Cajun fries. Love their banana pudding as well! Service is always very friendly but expect a 30 min-1 hour wait even during off times.

Although there were a couple of hiccups when it came to actually getting the correct order, the food was SO worth it! The absolute best burger I've ever had! I don't get too many toppings but there was still SO much flavor in every bite. I like my food seasoned well and that it was!! Although, my niece claimed hers was "too salty" so I guess it's just personal preference. If you like bland food this is not the place for you! It was also the biggest burger I've ever had which explains the cost. Picture doesn't do it justice.

But the chicken seemed like it was boiled then put in the quesadilla and fried on the flat top which would have been fine but the chicken seemed quite dry. Maybe I came in at a bad time not sure because when I had it at the truck I was dreaming about it for weeks so maybe it was just not my day but over all it wasn't bad and the 3 star is more because my expectations were set based on the other location. And then the queso blanco arrived -- for FREE, might I add -- with those blue corn chips that were crispy, salty, and everything I needed in that moment. The queso was so good it almost stole the spotlight from the bowl. The portion was generous too; I couldn't finish it all and saved it for the next day. Honestly we could have split this and both been full. I have the taquitos plate. I went with chicken breast and al pastor (2 of each). Came with optional cilantro and onions (don't skip) and grilled onions/pepper plus a side. I couldn't finish it. The chicken was soooo good - very flavorful and not dry, some of the best chicken breast I've had in a while. The Al pastor was good too, but the chicken was exceptional, which I never thought I'd prefer! Under $30 with drinks and tip, this was very very good. The chicken soup others were enjoying also looked stellar - nobody was looking up from their bowl. Great little find. Will definitely be back!

But shortly after, she came back saying the cook told her that the milanesa could only be made with chicken. I showed her the board, which listed both beef (res) and chicken (pollo). This led to several servers having to check and communicate with the kitchen, which felt unnecessary and just made the wait longer -- I was simply hungry and didn't want the extra back-and-forth. Eventually, our server explained that milanesa de res is only available in tortas, but then added they were actually out of beef anyway. I accepted that and asked for a side of rice instead. About 10 minutes later, she returned saying the cook had decided they would go ahead and make the milanesa de res after all. At this point, I was frustrated -- why say they didn't have it, then later say they could make it? It really felt like the kitchen was making up rules as they went, which is not fair to the customers or to the servers. The only positive part of this visit was our waitress.
