This was one of those occasions where I was delighted to have been so wrong. The crab cake was well worth the hype. Two hearty cakes, plenty of moist, tender lumps of crab, nice seasoning, and a mild remoulade that complimented them quite well. While I figured (also wrongly) that I'd leave hungry, I most certainly did not. Service was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the open-air, courtyard experience. Quite relaxing, and while there was none while I was there, I think they have regular live music in the area. As for the rest of the menu, looked like they sell other seafood and such as well, but this is a place where I'm just not sure I'll ever make it deeper into the menu than where I started--not going to top those crab cakes!

The ambiance was on point. Very nice but not too nice. Our waiter immediately addressed us when we sat down and gave us his recommendations for drinks. I decided on the peach Paloma spritz. It was delicious and well presented. Others in my party got red wine, a French 75 and the market ranch water. I thought mine was the most delicious lol. Before we ordered our appetizers, the waiter was so beyond knowledgeable about the whole menu. Gave us all of the specials like nothing I have ever heard before. He was so great! For our appetizers, we got the bread butter candle, smoked fish dip, and the burrata salad. The bread butter candle was the best thing I've ever had! It was so cool and very unique. I absolutely loved the burrata salad, but I thought the fish dip was a tad too fishy for me. For our entrees, most of the table got the red fish and the other two got the steak and the pasta. Wow..... disappointment. Food was average. Service.... Not good. I can sum this up easily: a tennant to service is to make EVERYONE feel like they're a valued customer. This is the third time this has happened. Someone walks in and the entire staff acts like they're Beyoncé. Upon leaving, the manager looks at us and says nothing. The only person to say: "thanks for coming or have a good evening ", was the personnel at the door. Dropped $$$ on mediocre food and intermittent service.
