Butter Chicken ($20) [naan bread from another establishment]
    Nathan G.

Pros: + Was picked up hot and fresh + Tasted delicious - not too spicy! + Restaurant is clean and has nice interior + Staff were friendly and helpful Cons: - Price seems a tad high Ordered two servings of Ambiyan's Butter Chicken ($20 each) and was thoroughly impressed. It wasn't overly spicy, which is always my fear, but the sauce tasted delicious. The chicken was perfect - not too tough, and tasted great. The orders were delivered hot and fresh. $20 seems a tad high, but if two of you are splitting one order with a side, then it's justifiable. The staff at the shop are super friendly and helpful as well. We didn't eat in, but the inside of the restaurant looked really nice. Would revisit for this delicious Butter Chicken again one day!

I didn't even register the heat of the food until I was halfway through it, so busy was I with devouring everything. Flavours were absolutely on point - my only complaint is that the containers weren't airtight and quite a bit of oil got everywhere. Otherwise, portions were good and delivery was quick. Would order again!

a modern twist on traditional and nostalgic Indian cuisine. the food at Ambiyan is delicious. I will say next time I'll definitely ask for the spice level to be kicked up, because even the ghost pepper spicy chicken bites weren't spicy enough for me. service was great, but we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time, they were just opening up. I'd say a definite must try if you're craving Indian food in Toronto. PS to the business owners, love your decor!

Our team loves grabbing a quick lunch from here, so we ordered catering for our office as well!…read more Today we had mostly vegetarian curries, veggie biryani and their Chicken Tikka Masala (similar to butter chicken but more flavor, more spice, more tomato-y/tart - not as creamy like butter chicken) - super tasty! Everyone enjoyed the meal. Our only take would be that the Fried Vegetable Bites/Balls were supposed to be delivered with the sauce separate on the side - this was not the case, and the tray was all soggy and mushed :( Hopefully next time we can get the bites crunchy! Paneer E Khaas - cottage cheese with a delicious savory spinach gravy! Mmm, that green sauce soooo good - YOU gotta try this one! Veggie Diwani Handi - a beautifully spiced curried assortment of cauliflower, green peas, potatoes, baby corn - and more! It's a definite favorite for the entire crowd! Vegetable Samosas - delivered crispy with a TRIO SAUCE DIP OTS! How awesome is that!? Buttered Naan - great chew, slightly charred, oh so buttery - don't you dare skip this one! You need them for all the sauceeeeee to dip! Speaking of sauce and needs - BIRYANI (rice) with vegetables! The way they craft this dish is so delicious- packed with flavours and spices. Be sure to give it a good mix before you serve! Chicken Tikka Masala - marinated & grilled - smothered in a creamy tomato based curry. All the trays were so carefully wrapped, packaged, and delivered - I AM TELLING YOU - NOTHING SPILLED (BOTH TIMES WE HAVE ORDERED - look at the pictures)! Teams are friendly and so attentive to your catering needs. Thank you for another delicious catering Khau Gully Team!
