I arrived around 10am on a Saturday morning, got an almond latte and an almond croissant. I drank my latte first and slowly nibbled on the croissant because I wasn't too hungry. The biggest turn off though was around lunchtime a lady came to collect my empty cup and plate and told me I cannot stay so long, max. one hour sitting time. But after being told I've been sitting too long - when there were no signs of a seating time limit - I decided to just leave. They have a variety of fun flavors that use either real buttercream or icing. Both toppings are great in their own right and usually quite flavorful, though the icing can be particularly sweet at times (I hve a sweet tooth so I'm okay with it but my mother wipes it off the top and just eats the cake with some icing). The base cakes are always moist and fresh. My preference is for their white or marble cakes but the chocolate is nice enough (just not my preference). While I no longer think these are the best cupcakes in the world, they still make me feel better after my needles and I am always happy when I walk away with these treats.
