This salon and Tom came highly recommended from a close friend.I been frequent for almost a year, but it's now to find another nail tech.My most recent set was done on 4/15, I had to get 3 nails on my right hand filled on 4/26 because they were lifting.As of today, one of of the repaired nails is lifting and one on the left hand is lifting.If you're looking for longevity, please exhaust other options. I will note that Tom repaired all nails for no additional cost, but carving time out to go to the nail salon after an initial appt is such an inconvenience.

I loved my nails! Prices are a little high but the service and service were 9/10! Thx to the lady who did my nails.

First time here did classic manicure and pedicure I did not enjoy relaxing while doing pedicure Two ladies worked at the same time I had to left myself to the lady doing my manicure and the other was doing pedicure My back hurts as she did both hands on one side Why the rush? The chair was making noises and cracking I liked the pedicure service overall I didn't like manicure as the lady was shaking all the time

Okay, I wasn't going to write a review. I had decided against it. However, this morning one of my nails chipped so here I am. This is the only NexGen manicure I've had that's chipped - and after only one week at that. Alright, I scheduled an appointment since I wanted to go on a Friday (which I know are typically busy). I still waited for a half an hour. I accepted that and soaked my nails. Then the man started on my nails filed them so that my thumbs weren't straight? Like one side was very visibly higher than the other, like a seesaw with one half touching the ground. Then when I asked him to fix it he argued with me? I ended up just fixing it myself when I got home. I was there a week ago, my nails are already chipping and the top, shiny layer is almost gone. Update: they invited me to come back and fixed the nails for free, which was much appreciated!

My experience at Amazing nails was nothing short of its namesake. I didn't catch the name of my manicurist, but he was kind and very efficient. He even went as far as to open my water bottle for me since my hands were wet. They had a great selection of colors, and I was in and out in less than an hour. They respond quickly to messages and the prices are so reasonable. I know my choice is a little boring, but we can't do anything too wild at my job. However, they had a huge selection of colors and designs that would fit anyone's fancy. Great place. I'll be back. Update: Dat is awesome!

Best place to get your manicures done , I come here every time I want to get something fancy on my nails . I do think the ambiance could improve , but I don't mind it . Also their pedicures are kind of pricey compared to the quality of products they use and time they actually spend rubbing you. Definitely recommend going for your nails but not if you want a nice relaxing pedicure

So to start off, I've only been here twice now, during the whole Covid-19 crisis. They are one of the few salons that I've been to that has taken multiple precautions for not only their safety, but also their clients. Both times I've been, have been scheduled by appt (they're appt only). Both times, they were never late on starting my service. Both times I happen to get the same technician (not that I'm complaining) but the first time was sort of a disappointment for me, as my nails were lifting and they literally popped off within a weeks time. However, I just came back for the second time because the technician who worked on me provided great service and was very courteous. So I figured why not give them a second chance? I am the type of person who gets inspired via Pinterest or Instagram, and most of the inspirations are very difficult and detailed oriented. Both times he has managed to get my nails looking exactly like the photo I bring in! (Minus the mishap from the first appt) he does everything precisely! I wish I would've caught his name, but he usually sits in the second chair! Nonetheless, when I am there, everyone who's working, does a really great job because I can see the clients nails and they take their time. If you're looking for great service and people who know what they're doing, this is the place! 10/10 would definitely recommend! I only deducted one star because my nails didn't last long the first visit. But I have hopes for this new set because he did as I asked and also made them thicker, because I am really hard on my nails!

I decided to get my nails done before my trip and this was one of the few places that stayed opened till 6 on Sunday. I came in at 4 and was greeted right away. I told the manger/owner lady what I wanted and she got me situated very quickly. I had 2 people work on me at the same time and I was in and out in about an hour. I don't know who the people that did my nails were but the lady that did my pedi was great and gentle. The guy that shaped my nails did a good job. He shaped them into the coffin shape I like. The one issue I had was the lady that did the nexgen dip noticed my some of my nails had obvious bump but she was already done and probably didn't want to redo them. Not too much of an issue just wished she double checked and made sure some of the shapes were the same. The shop overall isn't very nice like other locations that are opening up but I needed to find a close place. Owner was very friendly from what I could see. I noticed a customer was a bit upset about the color she chose and owner offered her a massage to apologize. Overall, service was great. Nails didn't come out perfect but could've been worse for last min nails. I also asked for marble nail design but they said they couldn't do it? Not sure.

Every time I go they execute my nails ! I never have any problems! I would say get there early so you don't have to wait. Tom is very nice and attentive!

Good price. They didn't have many colors to choose from. I picked out a light purple but when she started doing my nails the color was blue instead. She said sometimes they are like that. I ended up choosing a pink dip then it ended up being see through when she put it on and she wasn't sure why. I had to pay extra to apply a gel polish on top because the dip color was unintentionally see through. My nails were also very bulky. Probably won't go back.

Would give it a zero star if I could he was rushing so fast was filing so hard on my nails he made me bleed and they looked horrible so I said i didn't like them so i asked if he could put another layer of paint on and they said the color was to light for my nails that's why it looks like this... piked a darker shade he added it on top of the other dip my nails are very thick and he was filling again and made me bleed even more and I had to tell him ouch. Would never go back and my nails hurt when you touch them. Scared when I get the dip taken off what is going to be left of my nails. Didn't clean them up around them so there is white all around my nails

It's in a vacant business complex but they're easy to find. The place is big inside & clean. I came early around 12. I got taken care of quickly. I wanted ombre nails but Nexgen doesnt offer that. So I opted for #113 Nexgen. Henry took care of me. He soaked my nails (from a previous Nexgen I did elsewhere). I dont like that they soak them in a bowl. I wish they used cotton saturated in acetone & foil each of my nails individually. But it worked I guess. Didnt like how my hands came out dry. I showed one of the ladies a color I wanted & she was kind enough to show me 4 different options closest to what I wanted from a picture. We got started. Henry is phenomenal. He pays very diligent attention to detail to the core! It took over an hour (cause he's a perfectionist) but there is NO FLAW! During my hour there I observed a lot.. a lady walked in with an appointment around 1:12 & was told her technician wouldnt be in and if she would mind someone else doing her nails. The lady was upset and said she would wait 30mins cause she set an appointment (I know how she feels. A lot of businesses lost my loyalty due to lack of customer service w/ appointment). Luckily her guy showed up within about 10mins (think he was owner). Also another lady walked in saying her nails were coming off only after 2 days (she got fixed). Owner, was nice and speaks English well. He also saw my purse on floor, grabbed a chair and placed it on there for me without question. He also told me about their 2 week warranty which is great! Everyone on this review talks about Joyce. But Henry is great too! Also it only cost me $40 w/ add on tips to make nail longer :)

First time here, I'm picky about my mani and they delivered!!

Absolutely wonderful service. I was able to get a same day appointment for a mani pedi, and they sat me down immediately and had them both going st the same time. Super detailed and precise, which I appreciate tons - most nail places can be pretty sloppy with their edges, but not these guys! I was out in an hour, with a perfectly done mani pedi, very polite, clean and newly sterilized utensils, and a very good price. Cannot recommend this place enough, will be going back for my bridal manicure! read more

The quality of service seems to vary depending on who you get. Convent location. Be prepared to wait, if they say 15mins except 30mins, it's happened twice now. I do like the NEXGen color options they have. No frills atmosphere and service but pretty decent for nexgen dip powder if that's what you are looking for. read more

Ok so they didnt do quite everything I would've liked with my nails for the price I paid but they are ok I'm not totally mad. They do not honor the 40% directly yelp Check in as described here so it's best your aware of that if you thought it would make a difference. I am usually a tipper and that was aten up by the fact that it wasn't the exact as I asked and they did charge me too much. Overall I believe they are a good shop. Good atmosphere, clean, they were efficient but paid attention to my hands as well.They do glow in the dark but unfortunately not all of them as the understanding that I thought we had when doing my nails. I would visit back but I won't ask them to do really intricate things. read more

I give it a 2 but I i give them 3 stars because of the ladies, they were super friendly and pretty sweet. I usually don't get my nails done but my mom wanted me to do it with her and I treated her for her bday. What I do know is that nails should last longer than a week but literally one popped right off while washing my hands in the restroom. The stones don't last long either, they were popping off within 2 days and the paint was fading from the tips. read more

So i always go to this nail shop even with the new owners. Today i was mortified on how i was treated with me being a regular, not to mention i have salon so i send most of my customers there. Today i came in and the owner tells me to sit at this certain seat. I got excited because i got Kim. She's always booked so i was like yea i get to try her. But soon as i get comfortable a lady walks in. She seems to know everyone as well. They were joking with her saying they were closed and will not do her nails. Then she says, Kim can you do them? she says yes. Now mind you I'm sitting at Kims chair waiting on her to finish another customer so she can do my nails. The manager comes and tells me i have to get up because Kim has a customer. But I'm like no i was looking forward to her doing my nails. So Kim comes to do my nails and keep asking me what i want. I show her a picture she says to expensive and plus she has her customer waiting and i need to get something plain and make an appointment if i want anything different. Saying that her customer had an appointment so she has to hurry with me, Rude. Mind you she drilling my nails so fast it's burning. So I said I didn't want her to do my nails. Now she's telling the manager what i want takes 2 hrs and she has an appointment which is All lies, this lady walked in like me. They were just more Acquainted, now I'm waiting again and the manager tells me because I wanted Kim he has an appointment that just called and I would need to wait on someone else, when everyone is busy now. Long story short my money wasn't good enough today, I wanted to try Kim but she was so rude. Now my nails not Done half filed still burning all because i wanted to try Kim. Im very disappointed. Money wasn't a option, customer service is. I am leaving a picture on how my nails looked when they sent me packing cuz everyone had appointments. When im watching everyone walk in just like me. Kims rude and made not get my nails done and the manager reasons was she cant speak English. I will never send not 1 customer there ever again including me! read more

I made an appointment and arrived on time for my appointment. Upon arrival I let them know that I had appointment which they didn't even acknowledge. I waited 30 minutes until someone helped me. They left me to soak of my dip and I didn't have a technician until 15 minutes later. The technician didn't understand what I wanted done to my nails and didn't even listen so any small request I made on how I wanted my nails done. The technician next to him then began to mock me to her customer on my small request. I didn't even end up doing my nails because their service was just so bad. It took an hour to even soak off my nails. I will never return to this establishment. read more

He did a great job without me even having to explain much at all. Definitely my fave nail place that I've tried so far. I used to do nails so I can be a little picky at times. They're super friendly and definitely know what they're doing. This is going to be my regular spot when I want to get acrylics done. I got colored acrylics with the coffin shape. They're absolutely done the way I like them. Vincent and the girl that sits next to him are my go-to for acrylics. Haven't tried any of the others so I can't speak for them. read more

I have been to soooo many nail places and honestly was about to give up getting my nails done. This place is the best kept secret for nail care!! Helen is AMAZING, she does anything and everything to my nails and does not overcharge. In fact I personally think they need to charge more. They are always on time, work the walk ins promptly and want to make sure you are taken care of. I would drive from Oklahoma if I had to, as long as I live, I will only have Helen do my nails!!! After moving to Addison from Richardson, I've been hard pressed to find a nail salon that I like. The search is over. I walked into Amazing Nails on a Saturday afternoon, got sat right away and had a very good experience getting the Deluxe pedicure and a gel manicure. They are thorough with the cuticle cutters and I love it! They were also not stingy on the pumice for my calluses (I run, so they build up). I found the prices reasonable for the quality. I highly recommend this place! read more

When I walked in, I couldnt really figure out why this place has such good reviews. The equipment is older and not flashy. It is inexpensive and they have a wide range of polishes and services, so I am guessing that contributes to the higher ratings. This is definitely not one of the nice new salons around so don't expect the fussy new stuff, but expect great service. I got the delux pedicure ($35) with gel polish ($15) and the pedicure was pretty amazing! For $35 you get about an hours worth of really nice massage and pedicure service. I have not enjoyed a foot massage that much in a long while! read more

This nail shop is tucked away in a strip center in Carrollton. I ran across it on Yelp while looking for a place that was open on Sundays. Amazing Nails is...from 12 p.m. - 6p.m. I was in desperate need of a mani/pedi after completing a house remodel. I got the deluxe spa pedi for $30 and the basic mani for $12. It was worth it! They are friendly, and took extra time on my feet (which was needed), and the girl giving the mani even corrected a couple of slips that I noticed. She was polite and quiet. I don't mind talking in a nail salon, but usually am there to relax. So, it was nice that I didn't feel pressured to keep up a conversation while there. Overall, I was pleased. They definitely used sanitized tools for each client, and I watched them clean and sanitize the pedicure bowls while there. I will be going back. read more

Worst nail experience I have ever had. DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD YELP REVIEWS. That is precisely what I did and I regret it terribly. I came in with solar powder nails and they acted as if they had never seen it in their lives. They proceeded to destroy my nails and cuticles getting them off. Manicures are not supposed to be painful, this one was. Do not claim to be a professional nail studio if you can't do nails. On top of that, they botched the dip nails and charged me $66 for the worst mani/pedi of my life. Don't believe the 10% Monday through Wednesday thing either. They told me to my face they weren't on yelp anymore and wouldn't honor it. read more

This is the worst nail place that I have ever gone to in my whole entire life, I had to take off my nails after one week because four of my nails broke (just by tapping them), and I have never had that experience before at other places. If you care about spending your money wisely do NOT go to this place! This place was not cheap either- they nickel and dime you for different shapes and longer lengths. The two kids age 2&4 (of the nail tech) were running around screaming while they all just laughed. Vincent is the owner, and let me tell you, he's a gem. His shaping is by far the best I've seen! He knows what looks good, and a lot of nail techs don't these days. I love their Hawaiian pedicure. Tom is my favorite, because he really takes his time. He's very kind and soft spoken, which helped me relax more. That's the point right? never not ever will i go back. I had shellac on that needed to come off, and asked for a new shellac manicure after that. The lady grabbed the biggest roughest nail file and was super rough - like a cheese grater. My skin all around my nails is all torn up. At one point, I kind of jerked and grimaced to show that it hurt - she acknowledged, apologized, and kept on doing it until my finger started bleeding! Then, she put acetone on there and, of course, that stung horribly. I could put lots of other details here, but there's the gist. I'm not going back. read more

She recommended I visit Yuliya, as she'd been going to her for several years, shared her phone number, and said that text was the easiest way to get ahold of her. So, I texted and scheduled an appointment. Today, I received a text message confirming my appointment 3 days in advance. She sent it at approximately 10am, when I was occupied in a meeting. I noted the reminder (for an appointment I intended to keep) but was distracted with work before thanking her and confirming. This evening, I received a much less professional confirmation text, saying that if I didn't respond, she would assume I didn't plan to keep my appointment, and my time slot would be given to another preferred client. I was honestly taken aback. I understand it was an oversight on my part to forget to respond to the initial confirmation; however, most businesses that send confirmation expect you to respond in the instance you need to cancel, and the later message felt threatening in tone. I politely responded that I had been distracted with a busy work day, but that I did intend to keep my appointment, but that if she needed to cancel to accommodate her preferred clients, I would understand. I got a response that said "it's up to you, but my time is valuable." I cancelled. The exchange did not leave me feeling respected as a potential new client, and I prefer to take my business to someone who appreciates it. I felt that if I didn't cancel, I'd be subjected to the same harsh attitude and poor professionalism in my appointment, which I'd like to avoid. I'm sure she must be great at what she does, because in a market like Dallas, to be in business as long as she has, you have to be, especially when you have customer service like that. That said, there are TONS of amazing lash pros in Dallas, several of whom I've been referred to, and when given an option, I'd rather go to one who will appreciate me as a paying client and treat me with better professionalism.
