I came in for an acrylic fill and pedicure and showed a reference photo of the cat eye nails I wanted. The owner immediately told me they couldn't do cat eye, so I agreed to switch to chrome instead. When the chrome was applied, it wasn't visible at all. I mentioned that I didn't want to pay extra for chrome since there was no noticeable effect. At that point, my nail technician told me they actually could do cat eye and brought over another technician to do it. Unfortunately, the finished nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo, but I accepted that and was ready to move on. The problem came at checkout. I was charged an additional fee for both gel and cat eye. I politely asked the owner to remove the cat eye charge because of the confusion and because the final result wasn't what I requested. Rather than taking any accountability for the miscommunication, he argued with me, talked over me, and insisted I pay the full amount. I've overlooked imperfect nails in the past because everyone makes mistakes. What I can't overlook is poor customer service and refusing to take responsibility for a situation the owner created. After years of being a loyal customer, I expected much better. Unfortunately, because of how I was treated--not because of the nails--I won't be returning.

She fixed every mistake from the prior nail tech with filing, shaping, and even gel nail color and took her time doing so. * the owner even offered to open on a closed day for a client for a rescheduled nail appointment which I thought was nice. I came again another day for a pedicure being that I haven't had one in a few months and my toe nails were hurting on the sides I was taken care of immediately once more. I believe I got the deluxe service for $68 with gel polish and it was wonderful. My tech took her time, everything precise, wasn't a rushed service, my toe nails don't hurt on the sides anymore, and looks clean would highly recommend!

I still tipped Tia 20% because Honey worked me into the schedule during what would have been Tia's break, and I appreciated that accommodation. Unfortunately, once I got home and removed my contacts so I could see my nails more clearly, I noticed several details that became more apparent over the next few days. It appeared the polish wasn't properly sealed, and one nail had missing polish along the side before I ever left the salon. The front desk confirmed and repeated aloud kid mani/pedi. So imagine my surprise when I went to pay and was billed for a classic mani and pedi $48. So i asked what age do they consider kids, she stated up to 10. She then guided me to the bottom right corner of the menu that stated this. Completely fine, however as someone who heads an employee and customer experience department, the customer support and fraudulent switching of the service without my acknowledgment is why I am giving them a 1 star. I'm fine to pay whatever the service costs but it is bad business to have a customer fill out a slip selecting the service they want, confirm with them, and then switch the service at checkout. How much effort could it have been to advise me that my 12yo couldn't receive the kid mani/pedi? I would have selected a classic pedi for him only. It's truly the small efforts of basic customer support and honest business that will take businesses a long way. I hope they read this, coach their employees and do better.
