It's a no for me. Came here and the customer service was horrible. Yes I was seated quickly but they don't have matching colors for pedi and mani. The lady didn't speak English so I had no clue what she was saying. Then Another lady came and told me I had to find my own matching colors from these 2 baskets. I was excited to try a new nail salon closer to home and after doing some research on Yelp, I made an appointment with Kim. She was friendly and nice. I am slightly disappointed with the actual service itself. I keep my natural nails semi short and prefer a rounded/almond shape with a dipping powder. Unfortunately, my nails turned out less than perfect and uneven. All nails were filed more to one side and not all the lengths (middle fingers were noticeably shorter than the others) matched. Super annoying. Also note, they have many color samples to choose from but apparently, they were out of my first two choices. Came in a few weeks ago, I was really bothered by the nail tech that did my nails. She is Vietnamese and so am I, so I understood everything. She was not professional at all, she asked me some general questions to get to know me but when I responded, she was not respectful or being considerate about some of the stuff I told her. She was just laughing AT my response and I saw her laughing about it with another co-worker too. As a customer, I'm paying to get my nails done, not to come in and get judged about my life. I recommend if the nail techs have any opinion or expression about the customer, please keep it to yourself and be professional. This was my first time coming, and the overall experience was bad. I added gel on mine, and it started to come off after 2-3 days, whereas when I got it done from other salons, the gel doesn't start to come off after at least 2 weeks. read more

Got my nails done with Julie today and I absolutely love how it turned out. I requested to get nexgen with almond tip. She went over each nail twice to make sure it looked perfect. DON'T DO IT!! RUN THE OPPOSITE WAY. I Just moved here from NY and as a trained nail professional I'm waiting for all of my furniture and supplies to get shipped so I decided to treat myself until I can continue to do my own nails again. This place looks decent and they took me as a walk in. You're told to wash your hands immediately upon entry. They sat me down and I had two people work on me for a basic gel mani and pedi. The tools were not clean, you can tell they had been used from old dust still on the tools. And I'm talking drill bits, to buffers, and even the nail files. I was finished in less than 30minutes. THREE days later my gel polish is already falling off like old wallpaper. They didn't properly buff my nails hence the peeling gel polish and the gel polish is old and bubbled after it cured. this place needs an inspector to come and give them an F. About to take off my $110 mani and pedi gone to trash. I'm hoping I didn't get any fungus from this place. read more

I was treated like I was family here, the service was superb. I came in with a half ripped off nail (from another nail salons mistake) and they took care of me. Julie had me wash my hands, we disinfected the area, she carefully cut away the damaged parts of the nail with a lot of attention to not put me in any more pain, and she repaired my nail & then I got my full set. They charge extra for EVERYTHING. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is bc the guy who did my nails was very detailed and OCD about them. But I was not a fan of the salon. (I also want to point out that I am Vietnamese but don't tell the salon ppl in the event that talk about me... which at this salon, it was a good thing) Here's how my time went: Dip nails $30 (ok, reasonable) Add tips $5 (still reasonable) but when I asked to make them longer, the nail tech told someone in Vietnamese he was going to charge me extra bc I wanted them longer - but he didn't say ANYTHING to me. Take off old polish $5 (uh, what? No place charges you to remove polish if you are getting your nails done there that same time) Chose a color - they spoke in Vietnamese how the color I chose was $5. Luckily I pretended not to understand and then switched colors that was not an extra fee. They did not disclose the extra cost of the original color. They instead discussed it in another language hoping I wouldn't catch on. Filing nails - you only get square. I asked for coffin, but the charge extra for that, too. I have never been to a salon that would charge you to file them the way you wanted them To top it all off, while my nail tech stepped away for a second, some other tech who obviously didn't know how to do dip nails felt like practicing on one of my fingers... and that nail is not as shiny or smooth as the others in the end TL; DR: if you don't understand Vietnamese, they'll try to charge extra for every little thing bc they don't disclose in English anything to the customer. Need Jenny back ASAP! She's the only one who's perfectionist at dip powder and shaping. She knows how to look when the nail is off and would add more powder to shape it. Last time I didn't have the greatest experience, was too rushed to get more people in. Shaping was crooked, nail was drilled too thin and tip broke off so she had to add extensions and charged me. After dip powder she did a French gel on top it was so thin it chipped in 4 days. I usually get the same style all the time but I'm always charged $10 more when the sister does it ‍. I really had high expectations based on all the positive reviews I read about this place but sadly was extremely disappointed! I came in pretty early and they didn't have any customers. Decided to get the nexgen nails and I love how they have so many colors to choose from but I felt like the lady was staring me down to just pick a color. Apparently they have some colors that are $30 and there are others that are an upcharge of $5. Once I picked a color, the lady started filing my nails. She never once asked me what shape I wanted or if I felt okay and honestly there was a point where she was so rough with my nails my skin around my cuticles started peeling. Thankfully it didn't bleed! She never touched my cuticles and I asked her if she could just push them back, she said if you want me to cut them, that will be an extra $5! I was shocked! Now she was seriously getting on my nerves...all the salons I've been to include cuticle care in their manicures. I ended up pushing them back myself and she kept doing her thing. I'm like pretty sure she used a regular top coat on my nails when you're supposed to use a gel top coat and let it dry with the UV lamp(which she did not). She told me to go sit under the desk that most people use if you're having a regular manicure. I'm not sure how long my nails are going to last with this but we'll see. She told me to wash my hands and afterwards I noticed my skin under my nails were super stiff and guess what there were giant globs of glue underneath them. I asked her to try to get that stuff out. She got most of it out but there's still some left. She said it will go away once you wash your hands more. (We'll see if that's true) I also noticed that there was powder stuck to the skin around my cuticles. This has literally been the worst experience at a nail salon EVER! You are in a business of customer service! The lady clearly was so lazy and didn't care. I will never come back to this salon and I don't recommend anyone to ever come here either unless you want extremely bad service. read more

This nail salon has arguably the best ambiance I've ever encountered. Whenever I go here, Food network and/or Guy Fieri is on tv, while acoustic renditions of pop songs playing in the background. So, imagine getting a nice calf rub and pedicure while salivating over Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, to the tune of acoustic Goo Goo Dolls. Yes. It's so sensual. That's Summer Breeze. Prices are fair, I'd say. Not cheap but not overpriced. I recommend getting an upgraded pedicure option if you want a mini spa-like treatment. Holly does great eyebrow waxes. There's one dude who works there, don't know his name, but he just gave me an awesome gel manicure and a strong forearm and hand massage. I definitely don't like weak and wimpy massages, so this was a real perk. Check it out for a mini indulgence. They give you a drink of your choice. They'll also do your mani and pedi at the same time to save you time. I've come here many times and have never made an appointment or had to wait much time. I had a wonderful experience at Summer Breeze! For $70 I received a Lavender Pedicure and French Nexgen. Laurie did my French and Kim did my pedicure. Kim adjusted the pressure for my massage when I asked her to and was very attentive. She asked if I would like anything to drink once I was settled. Laurie did a great job w my French. I noticed that the top coat on the nexgen smudged while drying and when I brought it to Laurie's attention, she fixed it immediately. Both ladies would pause if I asked so I could readjust my sitting position. Another thing I loved -- I had my headphones on the entire time and was able to enjoy some Netflix and relax. Will definitely have to come back. Update -- Changing to four stars because my nails are lifting at the edges :( read more

I had such a horrible experience here this place completely destroyed my nails. I called ahead one afternoon I ensure they had time for me that day, I was leaving for a trip the next morning so I wanted to be sure I would be taken care of in a timely manner so I could prepare for my trip. They agreed they could see me at 5:30pm so I agreed and showed up on time. I waited 40 minutes until someone could even start on me.. being that it was late in the afternoon I couldn't leave and go to another salon. Finally they started on my toes, and since I had nexgen on the nails the had be soak my nails. They had me soaking my nails in STRAIGHT acetone. 10 minutes pass and sure... but then no one is checking my nails or trying to remove the nexgen. 20 minutes.. I start pulling my hands out because obviously I know this is horrible for both my nails and my skin. They continue to tell me to keep my hands in the acetone and I'm too polite to say otherwise. They had me soak my bails and finger in straight acetone for 45 minutes without anyone checking it trying to remove the nexgen and by then my pedicure is done and no one has paid any attention to my now paper thin nails. They move me to a manicure table to finally start my shriveled up dry a** nails, the tech now obviously rushing narrowly cuts me, I pull away just before he can sink the cutter into my finger. After all of this, 2 1/2 hour horrible experience, my new manicure lasts 2 days because my nails under neither the powder are so brittle they all break off. Recently I had another salon remove everything so my nails can recoup. And let it be known I have very nice, strong natural nails that are now completely destroyed because of this place.
