If there was a way to give this store negative stars I would. I cancelled the contract In writing, in the store and have been disputing charges from January of 2017, and they have charged my credit card AGAIN for Dec 2017 and Jan 2018, one YEAR after cancelling the contract per their Rules and Regulations. New merchant account (cc processor) does not give anyone the right to charge a credit card without approval or contract. This establishment pays NO ATTENTION to their customer base once they obtain your credit card. Find another franchise for your needs! UPDATE: after discussing the charges and my Yelp review with the store, I was asked by the "store manager" if I would " remove my Yelp review and they would refund my charges". Sounds like attempted blackmail to me. read more

I have been an Amazing Lash subscriber for 4 years. I go to the Katy location and since the management change, things are wonderful! The new manager, Kristina, is very customer-centric. Her bright personality is very warm and welcoming. Having a subscription is definitely helpful as I go to a master stylist, Sarah. Sarah is amazing! My lashes last the full 3 weeks, and she too has a wonderful personality. I would recommend this location. read more

After reading many reviews I was very hesitant to go to this location. However, I live right near there, so I gave it a shot and I had absolutely no issues at all! The customer service was great and they were all very friendly. They explained everything and how it works and then they explained the membership and how that works. My lashes came out amazing and I got so many compliments on them! I got the "Gorgeous" ones but they still look natural. I would recommend this location and Jenny does my lashes. read more

This business has low ratings for a reason. I began getting extensions in September. I did not love the process, but really enjoyed the eyelashes. I took a leap and got the membership. I have been going regularly since then. I went in yesterday for a refill and informed my stylist that my left eye had been irritated but seemed ok now. She took a look and did my refill. I purchased some eyelash wash and was on my way. I woke up this morning and both eyes were swollen and very red at the lash line. This did not get better throughout the day, so I went in to get them removed. I was first told that some people have bad reactions. When I informed them I had the extensions for months, I was told that people's bodies change. Just a simple "I'm sorry this happened to you" would have been nice. As I am waiting for my appointment, another lady comes in to cancel her membership. The girl at the desk tells her she has until June. The lady states that she has the original contract and that it was over in April. She was cancelling because her "master stylist" got glue on her lid and she ended up in Urgent Care. She had pictures. The removal was painful. I felt bad for the girl doing it because I actually cursed. She said I was "burned." The lashed all came off, but my eyes are super swollen and red. As I was leaving, the girl up front tried to charge me for the removal. And to add insult to injury, the manager refused to take back the eyewash I had bought and never used less than 24 hours earlier. In hindsight, every time I was in there, there was someone at the desk complaining. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this chain and especially this location. read more

I've had lash extensions for over 5 years now. Yesterday was my first experience with this lash studio. Overall, I am very pleased with the results. I had a removal and full set done by Michelle, and she was extremely thorough. And QUICK! I was out within an hour. The 2 ladies at the front desk were extremely polite and answered all the questions that I had. I would highly recommend getting your lashes done at this studio. read more

I have had a membership with Amazing Lashes and unfortunately I signed up at the location (Grand Lakes location). The customer service is awful. I can't always book an appointment when I am there as my schedule is very fluid. My "Stylist, (Jenny)" was 20 minutes late for our 9:30 am appointment. I was scheduled for a full refill appointment. This stylist didn't interact with me much. She didn't ask what look I was looking for during this appointment. I sent my stopwatch just in the off chance she shorted me. GUESS WHAT?! We started at 9:50 am and finished at 10:19am. I waited to get checked out and that was about 10:24 am. Did you do the math? Yes, only 30 minutes which according to their rules is considered a mini session only $35.99, my membership is $49.99. There is a difference in price. I said that I didn't want to use my regular membership to pay, I wanted the mini session price credited from my membership. They charged my credit card instead. Needless to say, I was less than thrilled to pay AGAIN. They wouldn't refund my money. This is horrible service. I wanted assurances that they were going to credit my card. No assurances, but they were willing to get me kicked out with out my refund. This is by far the worst location. However, I have been to Meyerland location and everyone there seems to understand what customer service is. At this point, I am not going to use any Amazing lash studios. This was the worst customer service I have received in a long time. Does the owner, Nan, know what is happening at this location. Or does she even care? read more

I can't review their actual service, as I didn't get the chance to get lash extensions. I attempted to book an appointment online, and received what I thought was a confirmation to my email. When I arrived at the studio, I wasn't in their system, so I showed the receptionist the email. She said it wasn't an appointment, just a request for one. Apparently someone was supposed to call me back to confirm, and that hadn't happened. When I asked why I didn't receive a call she curtly told me that was central booking's job, so she had no idea. No attempt to reschedule me or apologize. I will not book here again - why would I pay to interact with people like that? read more

Lorena is the absolute best tech there. When she does your lashes they stay in! They always look great when you leave.

The front office hurry you in and out. They do not go over anything pertaining to their products or what to expect. No information is forthcoming. Make sure if you decide to use them you know exactly the size, length, color, or material to ask for because they will not tell you anything. Also, this was my first time at this place and the next day I woke up with an infection in one of my eyes. My ophthalmologist said it could be a bacterial infection from unclean instruments used by the technician. When I called they said it's not their fault and maybe it could have been a reaction to the adhesive (even though they say it is hypoallergenic) and the infection/pain was in one eye(not allergic). She also said they have special glue you can ask for, for sensitive people, but again, nobody discusses anything with you. This location is definitely not somewhere I'd recommend going. They have poor customer service skills. And after all of this they wanted to charge me to remove them less than 24hrs of me having them on. I'll take my business somewhere else. read more

This was my first time getting eyelashes. When I went in to the Katy one, which is on Fry rd. the ladies up front were not the friendliest. I think went back to a room and the whole experience was painless and relaxing, but I half to say since ive had the lashes ive have somewhat of a headache. I thought maybe it would go away but going on day 3 it hasn't. I doubt I will ever get lases again. Although I do half to say, they turned out very pretty! read more

I almost didn't go back, but after talking to the new manager Kristina I gave it another try and I have to say they are really getting their act together. I'm not impressed with the overall quality and the prices are too high as well. I got my lashes done here and in one week they were all falling out. I truly mean ALL of them and I took great care of them. I've had my lashes done at other places and it last a month if you take care of it and have a technician who isn't rushed. The girls at the front desk are less than competent, someone scheduled my appointment on the right day, but on the cancellation list (how does that happen). No one seems excited about their job their except for my lash tech! She is super nice! Angel is super awesome and you must go see her! I would advise to stay away from this place. The technicians are always late or don't show up at all. They have a 24 hr cancelation policy that if you cancel you will be charged, however they do not show up at all or cancel with you 30 minutes before your appointment and don't give you any discount. I was coming here for the location but I will not be back. I have been here 3 times and 2 out of 3, I was basically stood up. And don't bother calling the corporate office either because they don't ever answer the phones. read more

To all you ladies looking for Amazing lashes I would recommend ALS. Ive been a loyal customer since they opened. The front staff is always so welcoming & they truly seem to care for their clients, never have I had any issues. The lash stylist are a great team of ladies as well I've been to three different lash techs and I LOVE their work :). Its a nice studio in a good location. I'm giving them 4 stars only because I Do wish there was a bit more entertainment in the lobby perhaps a TV or some magazines to look at. I have been a customer for 3 years. I told them I wanted to freeze my account to give my natural lashes a break. They said ok. I just realized that they charged my card again so I called to see what was going on. They told me that that I didn't sign a freeze form so they wouldn't be giving me a refund. I was in the shop asking for a freeze. If there was a form to be filled out I would have done it right then. I spoke with the manager and pointed out that it seems to be a pattern with "miscommunications" on all the reviews and I got a sorry your frustrated but... Update...went in to sign form and they told me I had to give 30 days notice and that they would charge me again for my monthly debit. Had to call my bank and put a stop payment so I wouldn't be out $110 for services I never received. read more

My experience with ALS in Katy has not been good. They were adhering 3 - 4 lash extensions onto a single lash causing my natural lashes to fall out. They also glued several of my natural lashes together causing them to look wonkey and break off. I had big gaps in my lashes... It looked really bad! So I quit getting extensions and decided to let my own lashes grow back for 3 months and get a lash perm/curl instead. The first time I did it, the right eyelashes curled just fine. The left eye showed no change at all (I am not sure what she did different). My eyelashes appeared dissimilar on each eye; it looked bizarre! I went back 6 weeks later to try it again to get them to look the same... I waited for 30 minutes past my appointment time just to have them come out and tell me that they were out of stock on the perming solution and had no ETA. UGH! I will never go back to them again!!! read more

Kristin the "studio manager" is possibly the rudest person I've ever encountered. She treated my teenage daughter with complete disrespect and treated me with the same level of disregard. She commented that "they" (amazing lash studios) have the worst customers and went on to comment to a co-worker that "she (Kristin) hated people." The lashes that Sydney did for my daughter look great and Christian the front desk attendant was wonderful but Kristin is absolutely horrible. I've had better customer service at a gas station. How she is employed is beyond me. read more

I really like this place. The relaxing spa music is nice and it's always clean. I go every two weeks to Angel. She's very nice and friendly and I love the way she does my lashes! No irritation and no issues with my contact lenses. They last between two and three weeks for me. Oh and very affordable for full sets and refills! read more

Still going and and started in 2013! Since my last review a couple years ago I've also had services from Michelle, another Master Stylist. So if Ni isn't available I schedule with Michelle. They both are very professional, do a QUALITY job, and are so nice! I usually fall asleep within minutes of them starting. I will not be booking with them EVER. Customer service at this location is horrible. I went in last month as a first time walk-in just to get more information and to see if they took walk-ins. The girls at the front desk gave me a dirty look and questioned me for not having an appointment. Two weeks ago I called and had the hardest time just trying to get an appointment set up so I just gave up. Today I decided to call one last time and was placed on hold for 15 minutes so I just hung up. Usually there are 3 girls at the desk so what is going on? I don't see them staying in business a long time.. Not with the ladies that are currently working there. Maybe they see their job as a luxury for discounts or something. I wish I could rate them with no stars but I guess one will have to do! As a professional business owner myself, I have taken notes on how NOT to run my business. read more

I should have done this 2 weeks ago but I'm glad I waited until today to do it because after today, I will never return back to this location. EVER! It was my first time ever doing something like this and Nikki, who I understand is no longer there, had me waiting 25 minutes for her. She didn't consult about how weak or strong my lashes were nor did she ask me what kind of lashes I wanted. I let her know that I wanted the Gorgeous Lashes. When she finished, which I swear was all of 10 mins, she ended up putting purple lashes on one eye and the regular "Gorgeous Lashes" on the other. OMG! I asked the ladies at the front desk if the purple would wear off and they said that it would so I didn't freak out that much. Before I left, I asked one of the girls at the front desk who did her lashes. She told me Erica. Two weeks later I booked with Erica only to find out someone who I spoke to didn't put my appointment in the system. I found this out when I showed up at what I thought was my set appointment time. I was told someone in the Corporate office must have talked to me and they apparently "always do this". So I missed my daughter's AAU tournament to be asked to come back later? Okay. I complied. When I got back, the ladies at the front desk were talking about the customers and seemed to not care who was listening. No wonder why they can't pick up the phone and if I did in fact talk to someone in the corporate office, shame on you guys as well. Erica ended up calling someone else in the room with us to look at my jacked up lashes Nikki put on only to remove them and tell me she couldn't re-do a full set because she didn't have time. So I re-booked and gave my lashes a 3 day break. I walked in today and was told that Erica was out sick for the rest of the week and that I could re-book again with her next week. What? Oh, and the other lash techs were booked. They claimed they called me and they didn't. They claimed they left a message and they didn't. I even showed them my phone. The receptionist rattled off some number that wasn't mine and said well that might be the problem right there! Ya think? I told her I wanted to recall my membership. I have no plans of EVER coming back to this location. It's sad that with all of the chances I gave to this particular location as a first timer I still have yet to experience what everybody else raves about...a great set of lashes. I guess I will never know. My takeaway from all of this: IT'S THE LUCK OF THE DRAW ON WHO DOES YOUR LASHES SO BEWARE! They may claim the person is a "Master" like they told me Nikki was and she ends up making you feel like you're going blind with no regard. Or, you book an appointment that's not really booked. Or, you get to a confirmed appointment only to be told you lash tech will be out all week with no one to take her clients. The best thing going for this location is their ability to re-book you and then re-book you again. Re-booking seems to be their "Go To" for solving problems. No backup and no managers handling conflicts. Also, there is a lot of "Fake Friendliness" going on where they hide behind apologies instead of rectifying the issue right then and there. They couldn't even do my lashes. I called and made an appointment days in advance. I spelled out my name multiple times and gave them my phone number. I arrive for my scheduled appointment and they have my name wrong and are rude accusing me of not answering their calls. When I asked them what number they were calling it was completely incorrect. The two unprofessional women then proceeded to tell me that the person they scheduled me with was unavailable until two days later. They offered no apologies or ways to reconcile. I would NOT recommend this establishment. And the receptionist really need to learn customer service especially when a mistake is made on their part. read more

I love my lashes and always have Michelle as my technician. She is sweet and talented. But the girls who work at the front desk need a lesson in manners and training in customer service. When on a call with a client don't roll your eyes and act annoyed for having to take the call. Don't dress like you are still wearing your outfit from clubbing the night before. Smile.
