We both got the volcano pedicure that came with a massage, hot wax, sugar scrub and hot stones. ($70) The staff was all very friendly and they worked fast. The nail tech was nice. But wtf is this, look at pics. I went in for a mani and pedi, I have my own nail polish. I don't like gel or none of that stuff. Maybe once in a while for a special occasion. I just like simple nail polish with design. I felt like it was a sloppy job, I am easy and don't complain but that doesn't mean you don't do it properly. I won't say anything because I shouldn't, you should know how to do your job. Don't let me walk out with fucked up nails. You can see the first layer of paint that hasn't been covered by the second layer on both hand and feet. Look at pics. When she put on a design, she used a gold color but it didn't come out right. Instead of wiping the whole finger off she took a brush and wiped off the design. So on one side the gold glitter is there while the other isn't. Just lazy sloppy work. The design was bad too, especially on the toes. There was another lady, probably a manager kept seeing/asking where she's at. That annoyed me, don't rush people. Just don't come here. A spacious place, and no wait when I came on a Friday afternoon. They offer 2 free complimentary alcoholic drinks, as well as a variety of soft drinks and water. There are plenty of other services provided here as well, so you can get it all done here! Other services include: waxing/threading, facial treatments, and massages. Linda did my eyebrow threading. I had a 2pm appointment. Upon arrival I walked in to a serene nail salon. They had relaxing instrumental music playing. My nail tech, Cindy, warmly approached me and helped me pick out a color and a pedicure service. I was able to sit in the pedicure chair to receive my manicure. (I'm not sure if I really like this, but it allowed me to use the massage pedicure chair while getting a manicure). The tech did a good job on both my manicure and pedicure. After about two the ambience shifted to a bit more lively as they changed the music to soft, pop music. The music was always at a tasteful level. Venetian Nail Spa sits next door to Dish Society at Cinco Ranch. There's plenty of parking all around, so definitely not stressful to park & get in. When you walk in you're always greeted in the nicest way. The entire shop is so well lit, extremely clean and full of many color options! Every time I've visited this shop they immediately ask if I'd like something to drink, which is always a nice touch, in opinion. Tiffani does both of my daughter's and my nails, Dana does my pedicure. Tiffani always takes her time and does an amazing job, which you can see from the photos I've added. Every time my daughter's bring in a picture of the designs they want, they walk out with their nails exactly as they requested. Tiffani keeps my nails on point! She already knows what I want, & gets right on it! When it comes to pedicures, Dana is my go to! I always feel so comfortable a d relaxed when she's taking care of me & I love how she pays attention to detail! Both Tiffani and Dana are highly recommended! I had a bad experience. I requested an overlay and the acrylic on some nails were think and some nails were thick, once I left the nail salon my nails started hurting for 2 days. I returned back to the nail place and was told I had to pay $15 for them to fix my nails. Isn't that ridiculous! After paying $129. Some choice premium topics include: - "China can't handle it and they always get themselves into this type of mess and WE have to go help them" - "They got this disease because they eat bats, they always eat such weird things" Which isn't how it's transmitted, by the way. Bats are reservoirs for viruses that mutate and are able to infect new hosts, humans, through droppings and saliva. I was going to assume this is all just ignorance until she decided to spew her most intellectual phrase yet: "China deserves it, they're all evil." Of course, unable to submit myself to my friend's soft suggestion to let this disgusting narrative die off, I informed the women at the front desk after I paid and I was met with "ya I'll keep an eye out for that" and a farewell. So congratulations, Venetian. Thank you so much for your vigilance and your inability to separate racism from business ethics. Today Laura did my pedicure and did an amazing job. She was personable, professional, and did a great job on my feet. She made sure the water wasn't too hot and took care in every step. And the best part is how clean it is. Every tool comes in a sealed package so you know it's CLEEEEAN! And even the tubs have a liner so it's extra clean there too. Definitely add the paraffin wax / it's a game changer for dry feet. Lee did my nails and they are literally perfect. Every step was meticulously done, making sure every mail was perfect. And he even implemented a cute little design for my upcoming trip and it turned out better than the picture I brought in. My nails are perfectly shaped and not bumpy at all.
