Went in for my usual refill with Catherine and then spontaneously asked about permanently jewelry as we were wrapping up. I've always wanted an anklet and it felt like it was finally time to get one. She said it takes only a few minutes and told me to speak with Vi, the owner. Vi told me she can't and won't do it because she's worried it'd fall apart in a few days and that instead, I should have Vivian do it because she does a fabulous job with permanent jewelry. I like how Vi cares about the quality and the longevity of her services. (+100 Points for being ethical and truthful!) Some places only care about taking customer's money and call it a day. Vivian wasn't scheduled to be in for the day, but she immediately came by when she heard I was interested.(More points for being so flexible!) While I was waiting, Vi was helping me pick out the chains and charms. I had questions regarding the type of metal as I'm pretty picky with jewelry and hate when things just rust and tarnish after like a month. And especially with something being "permanent", I wanted to make sure it will stand the test of time. Vi dealt with my never-ending questions and even helped me arrange the charms as she and I both know how super indecisive I am. Vivian came in and got to work right away. She was very meticulous with the placements of the charms to make sure everything looks perfect. After placing it on my ankle, Vi came out to take a look and suggested for it to be cut shorter/tighter for aesthetic purposes as well as practicality--she didn't want it to be too loose where it'd get caught in things. Vivian was super professional and even though she had to remove it off my ankle and do a re-do, she again, was very careful and took her time to make sure everything is in place. And now--I finally have an anklet! A super cute one that screams me, and it's also permanent! I stand proud having something "permanent" on me because I still can't commit to a tattoo. Maybe one day. I visited Xtravagant Lash and Brow due to high recommendations in a Facebook group. Many praised Vi's work, and after seeing her impressive portfolio on Instagram and Facebook, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. The final results of my healed eyebrows are disappointing; they don't look finished, nor do they enhance my natural arch as requested. The arch is pointed instead of being rounded and it's to close in. Despite communicating my desire for a more exaggerated arch during my touch-up, the end result fell short. I also showed her a photo of my desired outcome (I wanted them to be the same way I shade them when I wear makeup) The shading did not reflect what was initially mapped out, and the outline of my brows is visible, lacking the promised ombré effect. Additionally, Vi was late to both of my appointments, and my touch-up felt hurried, which didn't contribute to a quality service experience. The $550 I spent feels wasted as I now face an additional $325 cost to correct the work elsewhere. I also had concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this place for ombré powder brows. *added pictures with eyebrows waxed, still looks horrible. read more

Very disappointed in my experience. I was referred here and was really hoping for a great experience. The quality of application was not great. Also, the owner was unprofessional and rude. When correcting the holes and crooked application she pinched my lid. I never experienced such a painful lash application. The next day my lid was swollen and I had to apply ointment to prevent infection. One of the worst lash experiences and I was really hoping for the best. After reading more carefully the comments and how the owner responded to negative reviews, I could have saved myself the $175. Would not recommend this place. As an update, based on the owner's response, while she did apologize, you can clearly see that she's still in defense mode. She's so immature! What does my previous reviews with other businesses have to do with her...since she wants to talk about "petty" seems she has a lot of time on her hands to look through my reviews...perhaps that's why she's late to her appointments all the time...go figure! Further, while I am a very busy person and have plenty of other things to do, I will make time EVERYTIME, to write about my experiences, especially when others should be warned about sub par service so that their time and money is not wasted the way mines was! In addition, she sells the "we love eyes" eyelid and eyelash foaming cleanser in the blue and white/clear bottle which has TONS OF OIL in it, this could be the reason why the lashes don't stick! Any lash artist will tell you that oily products do not help with lash retention!!! I'm not sure if she's intentionally selling these so her clients lashes can fall out, but it's odd that she would offer this! As a word of advice to the owner, if you're going to sell the we love eyes cleansing products, get the NON OILY product in the pink and white/clear bottle, then maybe when you lash, the lashes will actually stick! I washed my lashes with this product before every lash appointment...totally sounds like the culprit! YOURE WELCOME!!! you should be thanking me for finding out YOUR ISSUE! In closing, no one is bashing her business, I'm simply writing about my experience, which I am entitled to do! You should also stop talking about/gossiping about your clients to your other clients...like you did with me! You would talk about your clients to me all the time, which was super unprofessional...since you want to talk about "petty" seems the only things you're professional at is being late, being unprofessional, offering oily products that kill lash retention and being petty. Update for COVID protocols-- I've been waiting for Xtravgant Lash to open again and I'm so happy they did with such strict COVID protocols, making me feel comfortable and safe the entire time. When I got there every client went through a no-contact forehead temperature screening, everything was constantly sanitized and was again after anyone touched anything and employees & customers always wore masks (and wore them correctly!). The entire studio is sectioned off so that everyone is socially distancing too! I've been loyal to Xtravagant Lash for years now, getting lash extensions regularly, and I finally made the jump to get my brows tattooed and it was best investment I've ever made. I spend almost 45 mins every morning doing my make-up to make my brows look like twins, but Vi has solved that for me! I never had my lashes done before Vi did them, but she has turned me into a believer! I had a lash lift done and the results were incredible. They last about a month until they noticeably start to fall, which isn't bad at all. The process was easy and comfortable, just a little smelly but she gives you fair warning. Amazing service with great attention to detail!!! I like a more natural look when wearing makeup, so just a touch on eyeliner and brows usually; I rarely wear foundation. Vi took all of that into account when working with permanent makeup on my eyeliner and brows. I got the powdered Ombré brows tattoo & eyeliner tattoo. She didn't darkened them too much, exactly how I like them. At the end, they provide you with post care instructions for the permanent makeup. It was technically my first tattoo, so appreciated the post care instructions. I also went here for lash extensions for my wedding (for me and 2 bridesmaids). Vi and her assistant Annie are very meticulous and skilled. They individually glue each extension onto your natural lashes (I'm new to this lash stuff). I also like that they both are upfront with what may not work for you and provide recommendations. My bridal party all loved it. Prior to this, for any big formal events, I'd go to my sister for the glue-on fake lashes. I'd wear the fake lash to the event and then remove at night. BUT these lash extensions by Vi will stay on for weeks. I like that it feels like your natural lashes; all you do is brush lashes once a day for maintenance - so easy! This might be a long review so rock with me. This was my first visit to Xtravagant Lash and my last. Upon entering the salon which I found to be a nice open concept that I haven't experienced before with lashes. My current lash tech is on maternity leave so I needed someone until she returns. When I found Xtravagant via a Katy Facebook group and saw all of the good reviews I booked an appointment. Another plus was that it was 2 miles from my house...win! I came in with sunglasses on because I was in need of a lash refill. If you're a lash girl like me, I consider them my super power. So when I need a refill I feel unprotected lol. I was made aware prior to my appointment that I may be charged a little extra because my lashes were done by someone else which I totally understand (price would start at $85). Before I could even take my sunglasses off the lady helping me said I needed a full set not a refill. I don't know how she came to that conclusion with my sunglasses on but hey, I'm not a lash tech. I wish I could tell you her name but she didn't introduce herself. Me being a first time client I would think that was important. I was told to sit my things down, take off my shoes and lay on the first table. So boom, I lay down and she begins to talk to someone in her native language but I can't help but feel like there's a problem. She then asks what kind of lashes do I normally wear and I told her a hybrid set with 14's on my inner lash up to 17 on my outer lashes towards the ends. She lets me know that the longest she has is 16. Ok not a big deal. She's still talking to other people but I can't help but feel like there was a problem. At this point my eyes were already taped. I can hear the other lash techs talking to their clients and they all seemed very nice and pleasant. My lash tech doesn't say a word. I know that every lash salon uses different products. Once she was done I wasn't given any tips or instructions on how to care for my lashes based on the products that they used. However, I could hear the lash tech next to me give her client care instructions. This was the fastest refill/full set in my history of wearing lash extensions. I sat up on the table grabbed my things and was presented my total of $175. I added a tip because I was still provided a service and I'm not a jerk. Now I will say, she was very gentle and my eyes didn't burn or sting at all so that was nice. The customer service was dry and didn't make me feel like I should schedule a refill. As I'm getting ready to leave two of the other lash techs walked by and complimented my lashes. My lash tech however just walked me to the door and said bye. Maybe because I'm not a regular client I don't know but I have mixed feelings about my service. The lash set itself was ok but could've been better with longer lashes. read more

I previously lived in Sugarland and the drive just became too far. A friend referred me to this place. Emely is my GIRL and is by far the sweetest human being. Doesn't talk much however I'm not asking her to be my therapist either. I pretty much sleep through the entire thing. Would kinda be weird if she kept trying to talk to me while I sleep lol I read the bad reviews and laugh because I just can't see how any of those scenarios could be possible. Vi is the owner and so nice every time I come in. Says hello and bye when I leave. Even though I'm not getting services from her she's super sweet. The place is clean. The bathroom is clean like Buc-ee's. I get the classic lashes. And show up every 3 weeks like clock work. The prices are way more affordable than any other place I looked into. Slightly higher than my last lady but still competitive. I appreciate these ladies. They take like no days off. Ever. read more

No one answered but a voicemail saying they can't answer possibly due to them being with a client but you can book an appointment on their website or call their assistant. Tried to go to their website-nice site- but when you go to the Book 24/7 section, nothing comes up. I tried in chrome and explorer. Nothing. So I tried calling the other number for the assistant. Here's the conversation: Her: Hello Me: uh... is this Xtravagant Lash? Her: Yes And then nothing, not a 'how can I help you' or anything Me: I was calling to see if I could make an appointment today. Her: we don't have anything available. More silence. Usually most places would be like, "I'm sorry we don't have anything today but we have black black black tomorrow". I have been going to Xtravagant Lash for a little over a month now. The first time I went to see Annie she did an amazing job with classic full set!! No complaints! I loved them! A week later I wanted my lashes to look a little fuller so I went to see Annie again for a 1 week touch up/ mini classic refill which is only $30. Annie then suggested I should upgrade to a mini mixset if I wanted a fuller look, I was open to Annie's suggestions but she went on to saying it'll be $70 instead of $30. I was hesitant because I had already paid $130 for the full set the week before. So I agreed.. after I left the appointment I wanted to book a 3 week refill session then I realized a mini mixset refill is only $45 but I paid $70 which I was overcharged Other than that Annie does an amazing job! Everyone compliments on my eyelashes saying how natural they look! I have probably referred at least half a dozen ladies to Xtravagant Lash! I really love Xtravagant Lash and the work that Annie and Vi do. My only gripe, enough to knock it down two stars, is paying extra (an up-charge for a 2 week classic refill from $55 to $70) when coming from another eyelash studio. I'm a very loyal customer and when I find someone I like, I will always try to return. However, I work between three cities (San Diego, Tucson, and Houston) and my company books my flights, which means I can be in an area for 3-4 weeks at a time and leave with only a day or two's notice. What this means for my lashes is that I can't stay committed to just one studio. Unfortunately, because of this I get an up-charge every time I come to this particular studio. I finally decided to return to a studio I liked in Sugarland, which I previously stopped going to because of the distance from where I live in Katy. I got a 2-week refill with MINK EXTENSIONS for the same $70 dollar price tag. Now, I understand that location (and talent) is everything, but for the same quality of work at a lower price tag it might be worth it for some of you to look at other places if you CANNOT have refills only at this location due to work/family/etc. I really like coming to see Annie and Vi as they are both professional, quick, deliver quality work, and are just really nice people. However, the fact that they were the ONLY studio who did my refills in the Houston area, I felt pretty betrayed when they charged me extra for seeing someone out of town. read more

I come in and they tell me they can't do my lashes today.... they said the next appointment they could get me was a week later. even though I had booked this appointment 2 WEEKS AGO! I left and decided to call Extravagant Lash and told them my situation. I wanted an appointment the same day or the day after. they asked if I was able to come in 30 min, of course I said yes! I head over there, and get my lashes done by Annie. they came out AMAZING.
