Decided to give this place a try bc the place I usually go to is just so far (in Montrose). The owner was super accommodating and got me in for an appointment that same day. I was pleasantly surprised with the studio. It's beautiful and clean and I love all the colors and furniture they chose. They took great care of me, offered me a drink and I loved the way my lashes turned out! Super friendly and very accommodating. I've already booked my next appointment and am so happy that I have found a place so close to home! If you're looking to get lashes, this is definitely a great place to try. I've always wanted to get lash extensions and I'm so glad I found Xtravagant Lash! It was my first time getting extensions and Vi was so sweet and nice and explained everything thoroughly to me. Before the appointment she texted me do's and don'ts and afterwards explained to me how to care for them in order to extend their longevity. When I got there she looked at my eye shape and told me what she thinks would look good. I got classic C curls and it took about an hour. I couldn't stop looking at myself in the mirror afterwards because they were so pretty and fluttery lol. I used to wear waterproof mascara everyday and that was such a hassle but now I wake up and my lashes are perfect. Vi also does eyebrow tinting and extensions, eyebrow blading, and eyebrow waxing. The Xtravagant Lash salon is conveniently located inside of "Salon Park". Vi explained what I should expect with the different types of lashes she offers. Vi listened to my past lash experiences and helped me choose the lashes that were best for the look that I wanted. I told her that I wanted lots of volume so I won't have to wear mascara at all. I actually like my own lashes but I just wanted to get extensions to cut back on time spent putting make up on in the mornings. Vi delivered! I am very happy with the look she helped me achieve. I thought this place (Annie) did a good job on my lashes. They were probably the longest & thickest lashes I've ever had applied. It did take awhile almost 2 1/2 hours and was more expensive than I have paid for a first set. I waited a week to write the review to see how they looked, the right side has lost lots of lashes, maybe because I sleep on my right side, the left side looks good still. I even recently moved to San Antonio and after trying a few salons out no one does my lashes as well as Annie. I had an appointment with Vi for a lash lift. She texted me couple of times on the appointment day asking if I can come earlier. I apologized because I was at work and couldn't leave so early. Now, at the time of my appointment, while I was parking, she texted again if I can wait for 10 minuets as she is running behind. I said ok. I stayed in my car in the parking lot. Then went in for my appointment. She was finishing up with her client. Then finally it was my turn. She wasn't very welcoming and then she goes: oh, you have Mascara on? Sorry I cannot do the lash lift. I was shocked after all the texts back and forth through out the day, and after she had me wait outside, she says no. I asked why didn't you tell me beforehand that I should have no mascara?! She answers: "you should already know Ma'am. You are coming to a lash appointment you shouldn't have had any mascara" with a horrible and un-apologetic attitude. I the asked her what if we just remove the mascara with makeup remover and wash my lashes? She goes no. Product will not work. If you want to try you can, but I will not guarantee results!! I then left. I was upset by her attitude. She didn't even offer to do it at any other time or anything! What type of customer service is this? Even in a thousand year, I will not visit this place again. I used to recommend her to my friends at work because of the good reviews and photos she has, but nope! Not anymore. In addition, when I left her place that same day, I called another lash Studio in the area (Katy, TX), they took me right in for the lash lift. This time around I was going to a wedding in Cabo & didn't want to mess with false/glue on lashes. My Xtravagant lash experience was fantastic! The environment is relaxing. This place is a joke. Unprofessional, Poor quality lashes, poor quality glue, and poor quality owner. The owner doesn't know how to text back or she doesn't have a proper working phone. There's no other booking system so you just have to be on a lottery and hope she receives her texts. There's two stylists shoved in one ghetto shoe box room. It's literally comical.
