I came here on February 7th to try it out due to the many good reviews and my experience was not the best. Once I got there for my 3 pm appt, I asked to clarify that I would be done before 5 pm so I could pick up my daughters, both the male technician and women working the front said yes. When I got to the back, the appt seemed to be going ok but after it seemed like my eyes had lashes applied I feel and hear a weird sound on my lashes. So after a couple of minutes of this continuing I asked if it was a lash curler, which the male tech said yes. So I said ok. Well after a couple more minutes I asked what was the time he said 5 pm! I said I had to go, he said give him a couple more minutes like 5 mins, I said ok, after awhile it seemed longer, I asked the time again and he said 5:12 pm, so I said I really need to go. He said ok, took off my lashes, I paid and dashed out. On the way, my eyes felt like a tingly warm feeling but I just assumed the lash glue was still drying. Well the next morning, I wake up with my left eye hurting and tons of lashes on my pillow. I proceed to use refresh eye drops to help the irritation. Throughout the day, I'd apply 2-3 drops. By the end of the day my eye didn't hurt as much and no longer red. So I didn't bother to call, well now- 8 days later more than 1/2 my lashes are gone! I absolutely don't want to go back after my experience, but I wanted to share my experience in case it helps someone else not spend $120, and have the eye issue just to not have lashes last. read more

I had an issue a couple days after I got my lashes done here. I won't get into too many details but basically I felt irritation every time I blinked on one end of my lashes on one side. Everything looked good and the glue they use is good quality as well so I didn't have any issues other than the one listed. The reason I will still give them five stars is because of their service. They squeezed me in on Friday two hours before which was really nice. I contacted them on Sunday night about the issue I was having and they got back to me immediately the next morning. Jessica reached out and offered to fix the problem that was bothering me but I had already pulled most of the glue that was stuck on the lash line off that was hurting me. So I told her it was okay and she still went ahead and told me they would fix it for me (and even gave me a couple days extra since I couldn't make it in after work) and they offered me a discount if I ever got a refill in the future. No business is perfect and there's always going to be mistakes but I really appreciate and recognize good customer service. Jessica texted me after my initial complaint and tried to fix any issues I was having. She didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all and was very nice and just wanted to make sure I was happy with my lashes. If anything, they deserve five stars because my lashes are still almost completely in place and I've had very little fall out. read more

I transferred to JJiLashes after finally accepting the cold, hard truth that Lashes By Ann in Montrose was simply too far of a drive for me to continue going to. Everyone in the Houston lash game knows about Lashes By Ann and the amazing work they do. It was not an easy break up. :( However, what was even harder was trying to find an affordable lash place in Katy. Why must the cost of quiet, comfortable, suburban living be so dang high?! Every place I found was charging at least $5-10 more than what I was used to at Lashes By Ann... then, a friend referred me to JJiLashes. Run by Jessica and Josie, JJiLashes is a small, relatively new salon that offers eyelash extensions, semi-permanent make-up (i.e. microblading, tinting), and waxing services. Compared to Lashes By Ann, it's pretty bare bones (no complimentary drinks or macaroons here!), but prices are similar (and affordable, in Katy's standards) and the gals do great work. Between the two, I prefer to see Josie - she's easy to talk to and really sweet. A full set of lashes costs $85-150 and will take close to 2hrs to complete, while 1-week refills go for $35-50, 2-week refills go for $45-60, 3-week refills go for $55-70, etc., and may take up to 90 minutes to complete, with prices depending on the type of lash (faux mink, cashmere flat mink, real mink, and Russian volume). They also offer a 5% discount when you purchase 3 refill packages upfront and 10% off for 6. Eyelash services take a little longer than I'd like, but it's a testament to the owners' dedication to doing a thorough job. Since Josie started doing my lashes, I've always left completely satisfied. She was happy to oblige when I wanted to adjust the length, gave me an honest opinion when I wanted to adjust the thickness, and my lashes always look natural and beautiful at the end of it. One time, when the lashes on my left eye completely fell out after 1 week for some bizarre reason, Josie opened up shop early just to squeeze me into her packed schedule and gave me a free refill. She even touched up my other eye even though I didn't expect her to. Josie, you're absolutely wonderful! Some minor suggestions to make this place even better: * Play some relaxing background music. When it's too quiet, it feels awkward. * Offer a blanket. When the A/C is on, it gets pretty chilly! The A/C system is loud too, so having background music will help mask the sound. * Update deals on your website. I soooo wish I could use the 15% Off Coupon on your website, but it expired after Thanksgiving. * Offer medical glue. Although I've never had an issue with JJiLashes' adhesive, I did have a bad experience at another salon and it was terrible. Some sensitive customers may appreciate having medical glue as an option. read more

This place was referred to me by a family friend and they were not wrong saying what a great place it is. If you're worried about the glue or where the products are from, it's from Korea which is good because it tells you it's not cheap material and it most likely won't cause any bad allergic reaction. The ladies were so nice. I actually had a problem going on w/ my lashes so I contacted and asked if I could get it fixed and the fixed it w/ courtesy. I have never gotten eyelash extensions or microblading eyebrows before, but this place is super friendly and I absolutely love the quality of the work here! You can choose to make your eyelashes as natural or as dramatic as you want. For microblading, it seems like eyebrow extensions, but it's pretty much like a 3D eyebrow tattoo and you can see that the tattoo pretty much looks like little eyebrow hairs rather than just being filled in 1 dimensionally like normal tattoo eyebrows. If you're looking for a place to get your eyebrows tattooed or have amazing eyelash extensions, definitely go to this place! read more

I've been getting my lashes done for 3 years now. This is the first time I've actually been 110% happy with my lashes. The last place I went to used too much glue, the place before used cheap lashes that would fall out if the wind blew too hard, and the first place I went to was a chain so overpriced service with underpaid / sloppy techs. I went to the owner and she was amazing. It took 2 full hours to put on a new russian volume set. She did have to remove some of my previous extensions but it only took about 5 minutes. The lashes are soft, not too long but longer than classic look, and don't easily flip upside down. I don't use any mascara and they've stayed curled perfectly for 3 weeks now. I've also had very minimal lash loss. I could honestly wait one more week for a refill. Highly recommend this place. They take their time so be prepared for 1.5-2 hours, but it is well worth it. read more

This was my first time coming here I was pretty excited to try a new place for my eyelashes... I was not happy with the way they did this the guy kept pulling on my natural eyelashes and kept getting glue in my eye. My eyes are now irritated and puffy because of this, he decided to do his own choice of style on my eyelashes instead of doing what I had asked for. I'm new to the area and was searching for a new eyelash place. I was excited that this place was close to home and affordable. When getting my lash extensions put on, I distinctively smelled super glue and my eyes burned a 10/10 the entire application. I have gotten my lashes done many many times and have never been able to smell the glue or had my eyes burn while getting them applied. My eyes were bloodshot red and my eye sockets were sore and achy for four days after application. It took over a week for any lashes to shed which is unusual but when they did come off I would have 4-5 of my natural lashes stuck to one eyelash extension which also really tugged on my eyelid as my natural lashes grew out and that hurt as well. I've never had to get lash extensions removed before but I didn't want to lose all of my natural lashes so I went and got them removed. The removal process also burned the entire time, usually you can take lash extensions off with oil, gently. Not only was that not how these were removed but when I tried taking them off with oil at home I still didn't lose a single lash which again would confirm the fact they used super glue and not eyelash glue. Would not recommend this place. I was excited about the location and decent pricing but its actually going to be more expensive as now I have to find a new place and pay for another full set application instead of just a refill. Very disappointed. Would never spend my hard earned money here again. Also I still have eyelash glue on my natural lashes even after going in to get it removed. read more
