My husband and mom LOVE Chinese food! We've been to several in Madera and Fresno and both have said that Amazing Kitchen is the best they've had! I also agree with them and I'm very picky when it comes to Chinese food. I tried their beef and broccoli, Chinese style chow mein, and shrimp fried rice. Finally!!! Been waiting for an authentic Chinese Restaurant in Madera. No more needing to go to Fresno for the cravings or settling for Panda Express. I had the Combo D which is Sweet and Sour Pork, Beef and Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice, noodles. Highly recommend. My wife had the Combo A which is the Orange Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Pork Chow Mein Chinese Style. Highly recommend this too! Service was quick and friendly. Had plenty of leftovers which covered mine and my wife's lunch the next day. We will differently be returning when craving Chinese Food. Give this place a try!!! read more

Was our first time there it just open about 3 months ago. We order a lunch plate. I expected fresh vegetables just got bean sprouts not a very good presentation. The shrimp, fried rice were very good. Sizzling rice soup not good. The soup was not hot When they put in the rice it did not sizzle. I order the special chow mein to go again no vegetables very little. Order a side of just vegetables. The servers were very nice. I really want this place to succeed much needed in madera Calif. I had lunch there today, Friday December 6th. I don't live in Madera, I just work here, and it was nice to see something open near to my work. The wait staff that seated me were very polite and inviting. The decor is a big improvement from the very tired and worn feeling restaurant that used to be there. They opened about a week ago so hopefully that stays good as time goes on. The decor is basic, but very functional and open. I ordered hot tea and water. The teapot came out without any tea leaves or teabags, it was pre brewed, and very dark. I am a vegetarian and ordered vegetable chow mein, and hot and sour soup. Hot and sour soup has been a vegetarian option at any Chinese place I've ever been that offered it. The soup arrived first, it was a very thickened gravy type texture, and had chicken in it. I was a bit disappointed but I should have asked if it had meat in it. I understand that I should have asked, I think to myself, "My fault, I'll remember next time." I tried the broth and it had excellent flavor despite being thich and gloppy, but I wasn't going to pick the chicken out of all the soup, so I set it aside. My vegetable chow mein then arrived, it was very ample in the vegetable department with shallots, carrots, broccoli, bok choy, peas etc, and looked good. The flavor was fine, maybe a bit saltier than one might expect, but it was very, very oily. If you scooted the chow mein to one side of the plate, the open space quickly filled with a lot of oil. The weirdest thing happened then - I was about a dozen bites into my chow mein. Up to this point my waitress had checked on me a couple times through the meal, but now an older woman came out of the back -not my waitress- put my soup into a container and left the bill and a to-go box, "Thank you, bye bye, have a good day!" I guess it was my time to leave? I get an hour lunch for work so I know I hadn't been there an unreasonable amount of time. I walked to the front counter to pay my tab, and the older lady - not the two waitresses - took my cash. I had left $26 cash- a $6 tip on a $20 tab, but the older lady automatically said, "No change, right?" which seemed very presumptuous. She then put the $6 in her apron pocket instead of the tip jar that was out for the wait staff. Just a super strange interaction. During the majority of the meal, one of the staff was using one of the dining tables to do payroll and hand out checks, which also seemed unusual. Short answer- food is a B-minus, service from the wait staff was good, service from the people who you wouldn't expect was strange and uninviting. I might go back in a few weeks to see if it was just an odd day or if this is how it will be. read more

It was the worst plate of food I've ever had! I also Ordered the Chinese chicken salad which was horrible the chicken was fried but had a lot of fatty pieces. I just ordered Amazing Kitchen through doordash and it tastes so amazing! I ordered the orange chicken, sweet and sour pork, and pork fried rice. Everything was seasoned/sauced very well and the food tasted really fresh. I also like the how big of a portion you are served, you definitely get your money's worth. I personally think this is my new go to Chinese spot in Madera. I cannot wait to try the other items on the menu. read more
