The burger was tender and flavorful, the bread was soft and light and slightly sweet, and the onion ring added a great texture to the mix. Think of a amped up western burger. Wow what a great meal!…read more We went as a party of five. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodated us running late as well. Our server was so kind and gave us helpful advice on our order. We ended up ordering the Jerk Duck drumettes which were incredible -- super soft fall off the bone duck in a tangy sauce with some spice. Truly perfect and I think we all licked our plates clean. We also tried the fried okra which had little okra sticks set in a yogurt dip and was a really nice compliment to the drumettes. Last we got the Plantain chips which were so good -- definitely some of the best plantain chips I have had because they cut them so thin! And the dipping sauce was yummy also, would definitely start your meal with this. For mains, we shared the Suya Fennel, Goat Ragu, and Prawn Curry. I'm not sure I've ever eaten a fennel dish before but the Suya Fennel was so yummy with different textured vegetables in a creamy sauce. The prawn curry was also incredible with five fat prawns in a tangy coconut curry sauce with a side of fried roti/paratha perfect for cleaning up all the sauce. They also were easily able to accommodate a nut allergy and put the cashew cream on the side for us! The goat ragu was also yummy but came out like-warm (not sure if that's how it's supposed to come) and was overshadowed by the other mains a bit. For dessert we ended up trying all three -- the Cardamom Semifredo, Chocolate Raspberry Clafoutis, and Mango ice cream and love all of them! I think we all agreed our favorite was the Cardamom Semifredo because it's so unique -- the texture of the cake is almost like rasmalai and it comes with crunchy puffed rice which was a perfect balance.
