I ordered the Beef ribs. They were good. The price was on the higher side. I have passed this place for years and decided to stop by. This is the only place in Cedar Park that I am aware that serves Beef ribs. I shared with a friend and was told it was darn good as well. It is a food truck. read more

I'm a BBQ snob but this place is really good. I had their quail plate (which was 2 birds and a side) then I added some brisket which came with all the fixings and bread. I heard about their lamb chops and just has to have one of those too. The chop was off the charts good. I called it a meat popsicle and I'll be back for plenty more. The quail was meaty and tender with a great smoke. The brisket was excellent too. The best part was the owner and his family - really good people. read more

If Alzers barbecue was considered a form of addiction, well then I'm hooked. These guys have been bbqin for a while. Friendly family owned location in a Cedar Park. Great ambiance and most importantly very clean. Got to try their banana pudding. read more

New storefront, food was delicious just like the old food truck and very nice service. Will be back soon.

I had the beef ribs at this place, and the meat quite literally fell off the bone. The other meat, especially the brisket, was also quite tender and went amazingly with the sweet sauce that they provided. Along with the great tasting food, the food was delivered to our table very quickly. Even though it was a relatively hot day, the benches are placed in the shade and makes the perfect setting to open a cold soda. My dad and I had a great time and hopefully will be coming back soon. read more

Had Alzer's for the first time today. Ordered the chopped brisket sandwich with Mac n cheese and potato salad for my daughter and I. Everything was amazing. We ordered to go and our food was ready before our pick up time. I love how they pack the to go orders. The Mac n cheese was flavorful and creamy. Potato salad was just as good. Brisket was moist and had the right amount of flavor. Portions were great size as well. read more

Sooooo impressed with the tenderness and taste of this bbq! We chose to go here instead of a nearby restaurant and are very glad we did so. They definitely deserve their excellent rating! Good value, great food and the bbq sauce is much better than the large bbq chain. read more

Just had my first taste of Alzer's and all I can say is WOW!!!! I'm kind of a barbecue snob as I smoke a lot of my own meats and make a lot of my own sauces so to impress me with BBQ is hard. Their brisket is soooo moist and full of great, smokey flavor. The jalapeño sausage was out of this world. Having this quality of barbecue in the hood is such a plus!!! Thanks Alzer's, I'll make sure to let everyone I know about tour awesome food. read more

Amazing food and super friendly owners and staff. There is a variety of meat to choose from including brisket, quail, ribs, turkey and lamb, then there are the sides. We got the brisket plate with potato salad and bbq beans. Let me start by saying the brisket is crazy good and does not need sauce at all, it is smoked at the site in a separate trailer... the owner is making magic in there! The beans were okay and the potato salad could have used some mustard and/or pickles to bring the flavor up, but the brisket made me forget about the sides anyhow. Will definitely go back when in the area. read more

Hands down best street Bbq and breakfast tacos! They are new so it's still a secret and no lines! Plus courteous sweet service! I had brisket and eggs breakfast tacos that melted in my mouth and left a glorious smoked taste on my palate, today I'm in heaven with smoked lamb chops and perfectly seasoned green beans, the tater salad ain't bad either! You can run into the Shell and grab a drink! I will be here everyday hanging out! read more

Alzer's BBQ - BBQ on Steroids! Best Street Food in Cedar Park, Texas - Barbeque Near Me - Cedar Park, Texas

Holy cow is this place ever yummy! We got the chopped brisket, sliced brisket and turkey with potato salad and the beans. All were stellar! Service was great too. It was cold and windy, so they had us wait in the car and brought it over. We'll definitely be back!! read more

Honestly, it's the best BBQ I've ever had. I kinda thought that was true the first time. Now having had it a few times, I'm sold. I'd put it up against Franklins, Black's etc... it is unreal good. read more

Only commenting on the Moist brisket as that was all i order. Brisket - The were out of the lean so i only tried the moist and boy was i NOT disappointed! So tender and delicious, had a good bark on it. No sauce needed for this brisket. I will absolutely be coming back to try EVERYTHING they offer. Best BBQ in this part of town no competition. The guys working were very helpful and knowledgable. read more

Really wanted to like this place, I mean it's right down the street, but nope, my first visit was enough to make me never want to go back. I see posts about the friendly people but that just wasn't my experience. The people at the counter were nice enough but I sat outside and in maybe the 30 minutes I was there the same person that works there came out and had a smoke break on the outdoor eating patio. Then someone else who worked there in a bright orange car pulled up right next to were I was sitting on the patio and just sat in the car with it running for several minutes. The brisket was just okay and came out cold. The creamed corn was good but the BBQ beans were gross and tasted like they came out of a can. I paid about 15 bucks for a single meat plate with two sides and smoke break and car exhaust ambiance. Really bad. read more

So we just ordered this delivery. This place had good ratings so we thought we would try it. If I could give half a star I would. I'm sorry but for $40 bucks I would expect more. Plus the corn has a funny taste to it. read more

I have tried several times to stop by, but usually I was too late or it was Monday or something. But finally, Sunday a week ago the timing was right. I got brisket, lamb chops and cornish game hens, along with coleslaw and beans. It was all delicious. The BBQ sauce they offer is thick, dark and sweet. The beans were also more on the sweet rather than tangy side. So if you like that, you'll like these. Best I've been able to find in Cedar Park/Leander area. read more

The food here is exceptional. With all the choices available for BBQ, Alzer's really STANDS OUT amongst the chains like Rudy's or Bill Miller or even Smokey Mo's! Give them a try, you won't be sorry! read more

Stopped by on my way home from work. I ordered a family pack with moist brisket and beef ribs. Seriously...That brisket, though...delish! I am so thankful I found this place and will definitely be a regular from now on! read more

Great local BBQ. It I'd love to see some fresher sides for my wife who loves her BBQ side dishes.

Great option for bbq. Generous portions, quality meats and you don't have to wait in line for hours. It's been a great place for to-go orders during the Covid 19 times. read more

Best chop brisket sandwich I've had in a long time! It's a little food trailer behind a gas station, but REALLY good!!

You cant go wrong with anything on the menu. It is real BBQ and sides cooked fresh!

$18 for 3 meats is a very good deal: A big slice of moist and tasty brisket. A big beef bone, not like the big bone that you usually pay $25 for, was not fall off the bone but tender and pretty tasty. Two lamb lollipops were ender and tasty BBQ beans was good Corn was terrible. Excellent service. Food was brought to my car. read more

Just had the pleasure of trying this excellent barbecue in Cedar Park at 3:00 pm on a Friday. Was pleasantly surprised it was still moist and presentable at that hour of the day. Fatty brisket was a strong 7-8, on the scale of Louie Mueller & Smitty's being a 9-10. Short ribs were good but I'm more of a fan of the huge brontosaurus ribs. Don't get me wrong, I will have both of them again. Very reasonably priced. 1.25 pounds of brisket and 4 beef short ribs for $32. read more

Lamb chops are incredible. Smoked quail was spicy and delicious. Sausage so good and tasty. Owners are super friendly and helpful, they even dropped in an extra quail for us. In a random spot behind the Shell gas station but that's what makes Austin great!!! Will definitely be back. read more

Seriously the beef ribs are delicious!!! Not your typical Fred Flinstone size but super delicious and tender!! Get more than you think you'll eat....cuz you'll want more! read more

Had the brisket, ribs, and turkey and they were ok, but all fell short of Rudy's. Brisket wasn't very moist and ribs were not very tender. Turkey was about on par. The side dishes weren't anything special either. All 5 of us thought Rudy's was better so unfortunately we won't come back here since it's equal distance to Rudy's. read more

Excellent bbq. Perfectly smoked. Nice to have everything packed well to just grab and head to the lake. We will be back!

I love a good chopped bbq brisket sandwhich as long as I do not bite into a hunk of fat. That has never happened to me at Alzer's bbq. There has never been any visible fat whatsoever, but the brisket is still tender and juicy. The bbq sauce is also top notch. I highly recommend! read more

I attended a party catered by Alzer's and all I can say is delicious! The brisket and sausage were my favorites but everything was yummy including the sides of potato salad and baked beans. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

We tried this place out after a neighbor suggested it and looking at all the reviews. It did not disappoint. The lamb was moist and delicious. The quail was some of the best I've had in a long time. The brisket was smoked to perfection. The sides were typical and the sauce was lack luster. It didn't matter. The meat stole the show! read more

This is some damn good brisket, just melting in your mouth. The only reason why 4 Stars is because the sides felt very flat, like not much taste to them. But who cares, it's all about the meat! read more

Pretty good BBQ! Alzer's is a small red trailer that is hard to miss, so make sure to look out for it! My hubby and I were visiting friends in Austin and decided to go here on our last day. My favorites were the lamb, moist brisket, and potato salad. In addition to the food, the staff were friendly! They even let us borrow a dog bowl for our pups! If we are in the area again, we'll return. read more

I've eaten BBQ all over the country...Alz's has great tasting food. It's super affordable...a plate is around $9 about what you pay for a double hamburger combo at Whataburger....Plus they have great choices...lamb, chicken, brisket, ribs, turkey, and more....Go check em out.... read more

Tried Alzer's today & the chopped beef sandwich is very good. We had the cream corn & potato salad which also were good. Recommend you try this place. read more

Really good bbq place. It's a food truck next to a gas station but has tables to eat at. I had the three meat plate with lamb chops, quail and beef ribs. It was really good and tasty. I will definitely be back. They have a lot of options that most bbq places don't offer. They have good service also, I ordered my food and they said I could wait in my car and they'll bring it to my car. read more

It's the real deal, good Texas barbecue. Highly recommended. The only down side is they are not open every day.

This was an amazing find here in cedar park! The people were beyond humble and caring, as for the food the smoked lamb chops and brisket were spot on! Each were well smoked and tender, as were each of the sides too, each was clearly homemade and with a tweak or two could make it even better. (Switch the potatoes from russets, to waxy potatoes) Btw don't listen to yelp...this place is legit!!! read more

Alzer's serves some of the best brisket in the Austin area. The game hens were also fantastic! I'll be back next week to try the quail!

Amazing BBQ! Best by far in the area. Melt in your mouth tender meats and wonderful sides. So glad they are just around the corner. The owners are local and extremely nice. I highly recommend! read more
