Movers beware, I called around several moving companies to get an idea of pricing and to find an accredited company that would be on time, careful and honest. Well, if you are looking for honesty go somewhere else. This company will charge you for extra hours and not provide you with a receipt at the end of the job. This makes it very hard to prove their dishonesty. I booked with Altitude and they were a bit late and the movers had lunch during the job. At the end of the job I was billed a specific number of hours, which was agreed to and signed (via, on a phone, no paper copy was given to me as a receipt). About a week or two later I get a bill for more hours than I had originally signed for. Basically this is fraud to alter a signed document like this but the problem is they have you sign a movers phone digitally and do not provide you with any receipt until they decide what they want to bill you. I would look in every other direction than here if you want to be billed properly and deal with an honest company. I have spoken with several people at Altitude Movers to no avail. At first they acted like they were going to make a correction/reimbursement but after repeated calls back the people there have just ignored me. Again, go somewhere else as they will decide whatever hours the want to bill you and you will have no way to dispute this as they do not provide you with a receipt of any kind at the end of the job. read more

I used a Living Social deal for two men and a truck for one hour. They were flexible on the schedule and showed up on time with a call letting me know they were coming before hand. They arrived with a bigger truck than I requested (as it was available) and had the truck loaded with everything I requested in under 15 minutes. They drove the 30 minutes through crap traffic to downtown very quickly and efficiently and had my stuff moved in around 30 minutes later. For the quality of job they did protecting and strapping down my stuff, to the speed they completed a very difficult task-- these guys were great! Moving a sectional three flights of narrow stairs was a terrible way to end their day but they were extremely professional, personable, and VERY understanding (there was a miscommunication and they were told it would be a single couch to move, not a sectional). I just moved to Denver and have used moving crews before from other places. This was the best experience I have ever had moving! My two movers, Todd and Lamont, were so good I have already told two people to hire this company and ask for these guys by name, living social discount or not. I would also like to say I have never felt the satisfaction to leave a company a positive review, as most reviews stem from negativity. I read some of these reviews and have to say this is a must use company with two must use guys, Todd and Lamont. read more

My nonprofit office hired them to move November 1, 2015. The estimated time was way off, Justin quoted us 8 hours total for move in and out and one truck. However, because the movers were so slow and not efficient it took 16 hours and they needed two trucks, not one like quoted. They broke and scratched multiple items when moving, used all of our packing tape, didn't have proper tools, and didn't properly install our conference table. They took half of one our desks because they broke it and said that they would repair it in the shop. They hardly re-assembled anything and left screws hanging out of the conference table. We were told someone would be out in the next day to look over the damages and do the repairs. Pictures were sent, they reviewed the damages, and here we are almost a month later and no repairs have been made or compensations have been provided. Our office was stalled in setting up and serving the community due to the fact that we did not have proper work spaces. We are nonprofit organization and spent over budget in the moving costs only to now have to buy new furniture. Altitude Movers has not followed through with anything. This is beyond disappointing and I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

We had to move from a loft in downtown Denver. Today is a bad day for moving since the weather is so bad. However, We scheduled a move in the afternoon between 2-5 PM. It was making me nervous because it was suppose to start snowing and there is a snow warning out for Denver area. I called into the office where they were extremely nice and told them I was nervous about today 's move because of the weather. They said that they would call the moving team and let them know as soon as they could to come to our move. They called about 1PM and said to let them know when to come. We immediately called back and they came right away. They had to climb up 2 flights of stairs. We drove to Westminster and the moving team was right behind us. We finished before the Storm and we are so happy. We are an elderly couple. Thank You for courteous service and extremely careful move. It brought peace to us. I wanted to thank also the moving team of 3 guys, which I'm not sure of all there names, Chad, Bob, and Lamont. Jamie in the office was very courteous. Thanks again. Richard and Shirley Z. read more

I have used Altitude Movers twice recently, and both experiences were great. The first time, Eddie and Don moved all of our furniture from Conifer to a storage unit in Littleton. The second time, Eddie (I requested Eddie and Don again, but Don was no longer with the company), Dakota, and George moved it all from the storage unit to our new house. Both times, the movers were hard working and friendly. I could not believe how quickly they worked, and they never took a break. Because it was all furniture, it was a pretty demanding job and none of them was anything less than nice about it. I would highly recommend Eddie and his team, I could not have asked for a better experience. There was one hiccup with the second move, but this involved the office and not the team of movers. The truck they were supposed to use had a broken back door, and they had trouble locating a back-up truck. Eddie kept me updated at all times, and I was able to reschedule my move for the next day so that I could go to work rather than sit around waiting for a truck to become available. read more

Used to work for this business. Don't even waste your time. There are much better moving companies in the area that won't rip you off. The current owner Arnold Joshua Slusher (formerly dispatch manager) is seriously the worst person I've ever worked for in my life. Not only doea he encourage his employees to lie to customers, he prides himself on ripping them off too. He says to drag out the moving times to his movers and make sure the customers pay as much as possible. He illegally alters digutal documents and forges signatures. He calls his clients "f*ggots" and "idiots" and has no idea of the colorado area cause he's from new york. He's a petty scammer. He lies about claiming to be in the moving business for 15 years when he's actually never moved before last year. He has no insurance for his customers or his employees or his vehicles. He will rip you off for your deposit money and call the police on you after the fact. This is the most unethical business to ever exist. read more

Can you give 0 stars on yelp?? Whatever you do, NEVER book this company. The amount of time and effort you will waste dealing with this company is unreal! Had the 3-6 PM window and they never showed up. I called at 5 asking for an update and the soft-spoken lady answered the phone and said she would call the crew and ask for an update. 6 PM rolled around and never heard back from anyone. Don't trust the lady or anyone who answers the phone! I received a phone call at 8 PM saying they were heading up to Greeley to finish a job and would be at my place around 1 AM. Don't worry...they never showed up or called back! It's a day later and still haven't heard from the company. We had other contractors at the house this morning and we had to postpone them until we have a reliable moving company help us with the furniture. I'll be hand delivering the invoices from the other contractor's for their delay fees to the Altitude Movers office. read more

I found this company through an internet deal, so I was skeptical. However, when Trevor and Geoff showed up to move my big pieces of furniture, my skepticism turned into amazement. These guys surveyed what had to be moved, I told them what I was expecting and they more than made it happen. This two man crew made short work of the biggest, most awkward pieces of furniture I had, and they did it fast. They navigated stairs and corners like the pros they are, asked for direction and put everything where we needed it to go. They even finished a half hour earlier than the original estimate. My only regret is that I didn't hire them for the full move, just the big stuff. Now I know better. I will ask for them by name the next time I move, or anybody asks. read more

I purchased a voucher from livingsocial.com. My two movers for two hours came right when they were supposed to. I had some really heavy furniture that had to be disassembled before it could be moved and then reassembled. They did a really great job. Todd Chance was training Ray McCants and they were both hard workers. I had a lot of trouble figuring out where all the cords to everything went after they left, but that was my fault for not thinking to ask them to connect everything again. Also one wooden filing cabinet was damaged, but I didn't realize it until after they had gone. Todd is a purple heart veteran and I say "good for you Altitude Movers" for supporting our troops when they come home. read more

My experience with Altitude was great. Stevon and Mike were awesome- I felt like they were my buddies. They were both very accommodating, friendly, and hard working. Altitude went above and beyond to work with me, as I called them in a panic after my 1st movers cancelled. The office fit me in their schedule for the same day- which is a miracle in itself. I then had an issue with my new place not being ready until the next day. Without hesitation they fit me back into their morning schedule. I was forever grateful, as I was incurring charges for not being moved out yet. The guys were professional and fast. All of my things showed up in perfect condition. I'd definitely recommend. read more

My movers were Sean, Omar and John. They really worked hard for 6 hours straight. Quite a work-out. Very efficient. Excellent teamwork and they have been in good spirit all the time. Very polite and professional. They are very smart. They were able to understand my instructions, ask questions when something is not clear, and take initiatives when something was clear. They took good care of my furniture. Nothing got broken or damaged. I am very happy with the service, and it was well worth the money. Oh yes, and their truck is huge. We did two loads because of two different locations. Before seeing the truck, I thought it would take many more roundtrips. Their truck is huge. read more

This was the best investment of my move! Alina was great about scheduling a team of two movers to unload with only three days notice. I got an email confirmation almost immediately and calls the day of the move to confirm and even to tell me they could come early if I needed! It was about 89 degrees out and I moved into a place on the 3rd floor with no elevator. My moving team, Stevon and T.J., were awesome - very friendly, polite and put together. They didn't break a thing and were great about asking me where to put things in rooms or against walls. They worked HARD in that heat and finished unloading a 16ft truck in two hours. I really couldn't thank them enough. read more

I had two guys come help me move into a third story, one bedroom apartment this week and they were amazing! I bought the deal off of livingsocial and called to schedule my move in day. They scheduled me for a 2-5pm move in time, which was unfortunate at the time but I was willing to take it for the help! So move in day comes, and they called telling me they finished their prior engagement early and wanted to know if they could come at 11am. Which was super convenient. These guys got all of my things moved in around an hour and offered to help set up furniture to get my full two-hours/money's worth. Ultimately these guys were great and I would recommend them again. read more

8/8/2016 The movers were AMAZING ,,,,,,! I had Stevon which I believe was the lead mover and he was a genius ! Very hard working and packed my stuff carefully and quickly. Myles, Dustin, and Damon were my other movers they all hustled and were efficient and easy to work with. Very professional and we were very impressed. Would highly recommend this team. I was misquoted on pricing due to what I believe was a new receptionist/booking agent she was very nice but get numbers in an email or quote. She did adjust pricing to what was agreed upon by us earlier and it was made right in the end. When all is said and done I would highly recommend them . Melaine k. read more

I wanted to drop in and say a few words about these guys. I recently moved from Virginia to Denver, and I hired them to help me unload my truck. I had previously hired movers, and they were awful, slow, late and they weren't careful with my stuff. Altitude was a complete 180 from that previous experience. They showed up earlier than I was expecting, were incredibly courteous and best of all, fast. They took the time to carefully get some very heavy furniture up the stairs and into my apartment, without any dings or scratches, even on my antique wardrobe. I can't reccommend them enough, and will definitely call them the next time I need a move done. read more

I have nothing but good things to say about Altitude Movers! I hired 2 Altitude movers to help unload my trailer. I had Billy and Dominic. They were professional, friendly, and emptied my trailer in like 20 minutes. Way faster than I could have imagined! Also they helped me back the trailer (because there was no way I was backing a 6x12 trailer up) into the ally next to my building to make the move easier. I would hire Altitude Movers again in a heart beat. If possible I'd also request to use Billy and Dominic again! I can't rave enough about them both. Also Altitude Movers were extremely reasonably priced. read more

Anna (scheduler and accounting / billing) - very pleasant on the phone and managed to my desired moving dates (I have used Altitude Movers twice in the last three months) Ben Duda (mover) - a season veteran who has a number of tricks up his sleeve to make the move quick and easy. Christopher Perez-Martinez (mover) - one of the best attitudes you will ever come across. Both moves were done very well. The movers did a fantastic job protecting my furniture (some expensive pieces and some family heirlooms). I would certainly recommend this company. read more

They showed up early and worked fast. It was an awesome experience. This whole moving thing is always a pain in the butt, until today when they showed up. They are all business, all hustle and all about having fun, all at the same time. And Bella, who is the dispatch manager and estimater is the most patient woman in the world. I changed my moving date like 3 times at least. She is completely professional and was always understanding and kind to me despite me changing plans. I would definitely use these guys again. THANKS SO MUCH!!! read more
