    Bulgogi Steak Sandwich

I really like the food. It is higher quality than most carry outs. I always order ahead online and the service is fast and friendly. I highly recommend this place for your carry out lunch needs.

Fast friendly neighborhood spot where they know the regulars. I came for a croissant sandwich and when I saw they had croaker we decided to get both. 2 large pieces of croaker with home fries fried hard and a sausage egg and cheese croissant with grape jelly. Food was hot and good. A family friend came in for his daily scrapple and egg sandwich and a hey knew what he wanted before he stepped up to the counter.

Place is a DC Icon, been here for years, if you know you know. The staff will remember you and treat you as family. The bacon egg and cheese croissant is the best I've had. So good

I will definitely recommend trying the ' Bulgogi ' steak Sandwich it is really good! It worth the trip from Woodbridge just for that. Parking is a little challenging but just take your time you will find one around the way.

I stumbled across Al's by accident but glad I found it. It's a solid, "get the job done," Korean owned carry out. I wanted a quick breakfast; I stopped in for a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant with a side of home fries. The food is decent, quick and the prices aren't crazy. I'm a native Washingtonian, and spots like this were very common in the city so I pretty much knew what I was going to get. I'd definitely go back.

Bulgogi and rice with free soup!

$8.99 for a huge to go container full of bulgogi, green peppers, onions and rice. a tad pricy but along the same lines price-wise as the food trucks near the metro station. The food was pretty darn tasty, but a tad salty. I actually needed more rice to balance out the salt. I don't know whether it was part of the meal or not, but I also got a small container of beef and veggie soup with rice. oddly enough, the soup tastes remotely what my mom/dad makes at home. there was enough food for me to keep in the office fridge for lunch tomorrow. however, from waiting on the bench inside the shop (it's so weird there's a park bench parked about 6 inches higher on the edge of the shop), i notice that the ticket item was fried chicken wings with mumbo sauce. will i come here again...yes, i am tempted by the fried fish and chicken wings and this so called mumbo sauce...

If you like "bulgogi", how about a bulgogi cheese-steak??!! The selection here, at the Korean owned establishment, is great for lunch. So far my office has tried the bulgogi sandwich, the fried shrimp, and the Tilapia platter (Great!!) They serve breakfast as well (Strawberry Waffles, French Toast) Great fast Deli.

This is really my go to especially for breakfast sandwiches on the way to work. Calling ahead of time and it's in and out service.

This is my second time coming for a private event…read moreand both times I've come, I've said out loud, "I should order takeout from them once a week!!" They operate a deli counter in the front and a bar / speakeasy in the back. You can rent out the bar space for private events. Last night, we had the space (and a bartender!) to ourselves, along with 3-4 different types of sandwiches. There is something SPECIAL about their seeded Italian bread. The perfect flakiness and texture. I enjoyed the chicken fontina and Italian. The caprese was my least favorite--not sure if they use a balsamic or what, but the flavor wasn't coming through. Before I left, I decided to order a large chicken cheesesteak to take home for lunch the next day. It was a bit of a risk to order a hot sandwich that I would have in the fridge overnight but I heated it up in our air fryer/toaster oven for all of 10 mins and the bread was good (not soggy) and the sandwich itself was delicious. I enjoyed it so much, I didn't stop to take a photo until the last bite :) It's a decent size sandwich--I ate half for lunch (along with my own chips and veggies) and have another half for tomorrow so while it's not cheap, I think it's reasonable.

This place fell way off…read more I was fooled by social media and ordered their Thanksgiving sub... false advertising. Did not look like the video - all bread and extremely SKIMPY. The worst part is they charged me nearly $20 for that abomination. What a rip off. I thought they were decent pre-covid, but apparently they just don't seem to care anymore. Other places make loaded sandwiches... save your money!!

We also really appreciated the friendly service and staff members we came across during our time there. The first day I ordered an everything bagel with veggies and cream cheese -- I took out the bacon and the price of the sandwich decreased by $3. The second time I ordered an egg and cheese everything bagel with avocado and latke. The latke was just okay and didn't add much to my sandwich. The everything bagels were really good as well with plenty of seasoning but I think they were a little tougher for our taste (a perfect bagel would be crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, but the inside was a little tough and the outside wasn't crispy). For a coffee, two bagels, tax and tip, we paid about $32, so they are a bit on the pricier side. But the staff are very kind to the community. The place gets super busy around 9 am, so we learned to just order online the next time and our food was ready within 15 minutes. Other people and us on the first day were waiting over 20 minutes otherwise for our food, which I know can be frustrating. Very popular bagel shop.

I got the Beyond burger and let me tell you... IT WAS HUGE! The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.
