This place is very popular! My daughter and I stopped by here after visiting the Museum of the Bible. I found 2 Sisters Deli on Yelp and it was within walking distance from where we were. There was a line, but it went quickly. All the ladies are super friendly. There's a decent amount of seating inside, none available outside. They don't have water available for your own water bottles, but they have fountain drinks and other bottled beverages. The cashier told us to go find a place to sit and they'd bring our food to us, but all the tables were packed! When she saw us standing there, she asked if there was any seating available and we told her no. She then took our food from the tray there were going to serve it on and nicely packaged it up for us to take to go. She told us there was a Holiday Inn next door with a courtyard, tables and chairs and places to charge our phones. So we went there! The sandwiches are a very generous size. My daughter got a Brooklyn sandwich which is roast beef, banana peppers, American cheese and thousand island dressing. I got a "build your own" sandwich with roast beef, lettuce, tomato, red onion, bacon, mayo and mustard. I couldn't eat all of mine, but my daughter devoured hers! If you are visiting Southwest DC or looking to grab breakfast or lunch, this is a great spot 2 Sisters Deli, like most any other deli, has a system where you get in line and order your food. You then pay at the register and wait for your food to be ready. There are tables toward the back and a bit of seating near a window. There is no outside seating unless you take your food somewhere else like the Holiday Inn courtyard nearby (2 minute walk to the lobby then through glass doors opposite the bathrooms) The food is pretty decent. Breakfast: They have your standard breakfast sandwiches. If you are keto, they can make you egg, cheese, bacon in a small cup. I ordered that often, but their homemade biscuits are really good. I like their bacon egg and cheese biscuits and their croissant bacon egg and cheese biscuits are good too. Lunch: Standard fare for delis. Italian subs, turkey sandwiches, etc. You can make it a combo with soda and chips (on display opposite register). read more

Quick and easy service. Stand in line. Need a breakfast sandwich to go? Easy! Reasonably priced and simple menu. I appreciate the orderly fashion in this place. It's right next to McDonald's , which could deter you from ordering here. I would recommend trying this made to order place instead! read more

For my first visit here I got the Wall Street Club specialty sandwich that was quite good. Sub is served in a fresh Hoagie bread that is till crunchy on the outside and has hickory smoked ham, roasted turkey, American cheese, bacon lettuce, tomato and mayo. The sub was packed with these ingredients to include lots of meat and was quite tasty. At $10 it definitely is a deal for the downtown DC area where prices can go absolutely crazy here and considering the quality of the sub is a bargain you will be hard to match in this area. My only gripe is that they could have used thick cut bacon for the sandwich which was a minor gripe which would have taken it to 5 star level. Overall, if you are a fan of Deli businesses and dont want to bring a Brinks truck with you when you eat in DC this is definately a business to check out. read more

This deli is such a go-to spot when you want a good sub. Everyone is so kind here, even their customers- one helped me out on making a decision of what to get! It's roomy and quiet. It's a little warm inside, the place definitely has the feel of a somewhat rundown shop that is independently owned, but more importantly the food is just very mediocre. I've only been once so far, but didn't taste anything that would lead me to choose this over something like the low-reviewed Pot Belly's around the corner. read more

This is an excellent place for breakfast or lunch when dining in DC. Recently I stopped in and grabbed their club sandwich. It was so great that I came back two days later and got the soho club. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is just absolutely delicious. The portions are appropriately priced and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I also came in for coffee one morning and their coffee is super tasty. The space is bright and clean but seating is limited so plan ahead. They also tend to get busy at the lunch hour so anticipate a bit of a line but the staff keep it moving! read more

Surrounded by government buildings, it's one of the few places to grab a good local lunch that's not a chain. Stopping in for lunch, here's my experience. 1) Food: The line is long, but it moves quickly during lunch with so many people taking orders. Know what you want so you can order right when they ask. They sell classic sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, melts, and wraps. I ordered the Wall Street Club without tomato and it was good. It comes cut in half and was the perfect amount of food. I added a fountain drink and chips (Sun Chips). 2) Drinks: There's coffee, bottled drinks, and a Pepsi soda fountain. 3) Service: It's quick and no time for conversation, but it was a good experience. 4) Space: It's no-frills and there are a few tables with chairs in the back if you're one of the few who don't get your sandwich to go. read more

We needed a quick service lunch place after visiting the Air & Space Museum and 2 sisters looked good so we decided to check it out! There was a line wrapping through the shop so we knew it had to be good. I decided to go with the Wall Street Club and it was a solid choice. 2 Sisters in located near the Air and Space Museum, so we stopped here before the museum opened. Their grits and eggs were flooded with water, and the sausage gravy tasted premade and thawed out. I also cannot look past the fact that they had a tray of raw chicken right next to a tray of fully cooked bacon, both placed on top of their bread oven. A truly efficient way to get people sick. If you wanna eat a cheap breakfast and would rather support a local business than a McDonalds, come here. But all in all, McDonalds is right next door, and may be a bit better. read more

2 sisters Deli was a welcome little surprise in DC, and they succeeded in all the areas I look for in a sandwich shop, service was quick and efficient, the shop was aesthetically pleasing and a decent size. The food though, was amazing, the sandwich I got was pretty filling, dense with meat, and sauced to completion. There was a line of customers but the staff did a great job handling every customer's order with alacrity so the wait was shorter than anticipated. I ordered the Little Italy sandwich, my wife ordered the Roasted Turkey Breast. To say they were delicious is definitely an understatement. The sandwiches were packed full of ingredients, so much so that I wasn't sure I could even finish mine. But my taste buds took over and made sure I ate the whole thing. Affordable and fast! I recommend coming here for breakfast if you are staying at the Holiday Inn down the street or anywhere near the area. When the construction crews go somewhere for breakfast, you know it is going to be fast and good. My father-in-law and I were in DC for a family event, and came a couple days early to do some sight seeing so we were staying at the Holiday Inn. One of the days we hit up the 2 sisters and it was delicious! I had a breakfast burrito and he had one of the large breakfasts. Very filling! I asked for salsa and got some of their homemade salsa and it was nice and spicy. We did not come here for lunch, but I am sure it would be very similar. read more

Fast, nice staff, fair priced, generously sized, delicious! I got a croissant sandwich with turkey sausage and there was a huge sausage patty and plenty of scrambled egg and cheese on the crispy croissant. Inside isn't much of a sit down place though, so I got mine to go. read more

It was definitely a good sandwich, but I'm not sure if I just came in on a particularly hectic day so I wasn't able to ask for all the veggies I wanted, or if you simply have to say all the veggies you want up front. I got a turkey bacon sandwich toasted (the only toast the bread, they don't warm with meat and cheese on). I didn't want Mayo but assumed I would have a choice of sauces at the end, but didn't. So I requested a side of ranch and did a dip situation. Again, not sure if it was busy and that's why I wasn't asked or if I should have specified up front. Anyway, it was a good sandwich. read more

A couple of blocks away from our hotel we discovered 2 Sisters Deli, a small deli that sold typical breakfast and lunch fare, such as wraps and sandwiches. I am so glad we discovered this deli as it was CHEAP. We never went there for lunch, but we went there for breakfast several times.
