For my first visit here I got the Wall Street Club specialty sandwich that was quite good. Sub is served in a fresh Hoagie bread that is till crunchy on the outside and has hickory smoked ham, roasted turkey, American cheese, bacon lettuce, tomato and mayo. The sub was packed with these ingredients to include lots of meat and was quite tasty. At $10 it definitely is a deal for the downtown DC area where prices can go absolutely crazy here and considering the quality of the sub is a bargain you will be hard to match in this area. My only gripe is that they could have used thick cut bacon for the sandwich which was a minor gripe which would have taken it to 5 star level. Overall, if you are a fan of Deli businesses and dont want to bring a Brinks truck with you when you eat in DC this is definately a business to check out. read more

This is an excellent place for breakfast or lunch when dining in DC. Recently I stopped in and grabbed their club sandwich. It was so great that I came back two days later and got the soho club. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is just absolutely delicious. The portions are appropriately priced and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. I also came in for coffee one morning and their coffee is super tasty. The space is bright and clean but seating is limited so plan ahead. Surrounded by government buildings, it's one of the few places to grab a good local lunch that's not a chain. Stopping in for lunch, here's my experience. 1) Food: The line is long, but it moves quickly during lunch with so many people taking orders. Know what you want so you can order right when they ask. They sell classic sandwiches, specialty sandwiches, melts, and wraps. I ordered the Wall Street Club without tomato and it was good. It comes cut in half and was the perfect amount of food. I added a fountain drink and chips (Sun Chips). 2) Drinks: There's coffee, bottled drinks, and a Pepsi soda fountain. 3) Service: It's quick and no time for conversation, but it was a good experience. 4) Space: It's no-frills and there are a few tables with chairs in the back if you're one of the few who don't get your sandwich to go. read more

2 Sisters in located near the Air and Space Museum, so we stopped here before the museum opened. Their grits and eggs were flooded with water, and the sausage gravy tasted premade and thawed out. I also cannot look past the fact that they had a tray of raw chicken right next to a tray of fully cooked bacon, both placed on top of their bread oven. A truly efficient way to get people sick. If you wanna eat a cheap breakfast and would rather support a local business than a McDonalds, come here. But all in all, McDonalds is right next door, and may be a bit better. read more

Affordable and fast! I recommend coming here for breakfast if you are staying at the Holiday Inn down the street or anywhere near the area. When the construction crews go somewhere for breakfast, you know it is going to be fast and good. My father-in-law and I were in DC for a family event, and came a couple days early to do some sight seeing so we were staying at the Holiday Inn. One of the days we hit up the 2 sisters and it was delicious! I had a breakfast burrito and he had one of the large breakfasts. Very filling! I am so glad we discovered this deli as it was CHEAP. We never went there for lunch, but we went there for breakfast several times. Overall, we had a great experience! My dad and I were starving for lunch and just got to DC. I got the club sandwich and my dad got a corned beef on rye (I think). We both loved our sandwiches and thought the bread was delicious. It's either freshly made in house or she's got a good bread guy! I would love to see this owner take more pride in the interior. I found the restaurant to be fairly dirty and have noticed other people commented on this as well.
