She took the time to analyze my gait, explained that I have low arches and a neutral stride, and helped me find the perfect shoe. I ended up with the Saucony Ride 18 plus Superfeet inserts with maximum cushioning, and I can already tell these are going to be game-changers for my training. What I appreciated most was that Nicolette didn't rush me, answered all my questions, and made sure I understood how to break in the shoes properly. She genuinely cared about getting me into the right shoe for MY feet and MY running goals. The store had great Black Friday sales too, which was a nice bonus. The store is accessible from the outside courtyard area. The associate who fetched my pick up order was very efficient and helpful. The line to get my shirt returned was long and slow. There were at least 4 visible associates on the floor but only 1 person ringing people up at cash wrap. I had about 6 customers ahead of me in line and it was a bit of a head scratcher to me why at least one more associate couldn't jump in to help the cashier some extra support. Overall I thought the merchandising was done nicely and the store felt nice and open. The newest polka flock gears were available and I also liked the varieties of accessories to ogle at during my wait in line. Unless I have another in store pick up I have to make here due to a merchandise availability, I don't anticipate returning. The laborious nature of finding parking, long wait in line, and the outdoor entrance only nature of the store makes this a no for repeat visit.

Overall they usually have a good selection, but since my favorite sports teams are considered the secondary teams in the area they usually do not carry a lot of options for me. I have never really had any issue with service, it's just hats and their have what you want or they don't. Things can sell out quick, like some of the Dodgers WS hats, but they are always good about referring you to the Lids website or helping you search at another store location.

He told them about store policy on the special items (no holds, first come only) but have him suggestions on how to try and score one. I asked one of the workers about her and they told me that she unfortunately moved stores... even asked who her replacement was and was upset to hear that it was the new lady that wasn't welcoming at all. You could tell she wasn't enthusiastic when we walked in and basically avoided helping us get a shoe, letting some of the other workers do the work. Being BIPOC, it's always disheartening being avoided in service areas since you can't tell if it's discrimination-based or just genuine dislike for the job lol. Overall, I will most likely be traveling to a different store to avoid feeling uncomfortable and hope that things change at this one! Shout out to the normal workers though, they're awesome!
