Super Awesome Navy Blue Elite Gi!!!
Kimberly B.

Elite sports is an amazing company offering high quality grappling gear at a good price point! Their Gis are super light, great fit for females and hold up really well!!! Everyone is super professional and pleasant to deal with!!! Elite is a go to brand for me!!!

Tamara M.

I really enjoy my elite products. I have a gi, and two rash guards and they are part of my regular rotation (I train 7+ jiu jitsu sessions per week). When you train a ton you need products that will stand up to constant beatings on the mat as well as in the washing machine. Everything has been holding on well. The best thing about the company is customer service. Shipping is quick, easy to order, and when I had some questions about gi sizing, they were quick to answer. Highly recommend.

Amazon rash guard!!! And GIs!!!!
Adrienne S.

Amazing gear, I have bjj GIs for both my daughter and I and they are great quality and light weight. They have held up to training and prices are great! I also have an elite sports rash guard, which is amazing I will be buying more, fits well and doesn't slide around or come up while training!

Even though most Big 5 stores are a bit smaller in size, they most definitely cram a lot of products into every surface area. I was looking for bat grip, and spent the previous few days looking up bat grips online. Since I wanted to support the local store, I decided to check out Big 5 when I was in the area. The employee quickly pointed out to me where bat grips were and I was on my way. There were not many options, but it was exactly what I needed. It was even better priced than online stores. After grabbing what I needed, I checked out a few of the sale racks, and there were many! Great service, in-stock products, numerous sale racks, and plenty of parking! I will most definitely stop by again for my sporting needs.

I was literally at the red light about to turn into the parking lot. While I was still on the phone, they told me they wouldn't wait. Then I watched them close the gate as I was pulling in. The manager, Jimena, refused to help and proceeded to shut the store. It was especially frustrating because my kids were in the car, and all I needed was a quick simple return. A small gesture of customer service could have made a big difference here, but instead it felt like we were completely dismissed. Really disappointing experience

This new location in the Orangefair Mall is much nicer, spacious, and feels a lot bigger and organized than the old store. I was greeted immediately upon entry and was asked if I needed help finding anything. She asked if I could stop by Target on the way to the park but I said, "No! We're boycotting Target!" and I went with the next best thing, BIg 5. I called to check and see if they sold kites and the guy that answered said, "Tights? Yeah we sell tights. Like workout..." and I interjected and yelled, "KITES not TIGHTS! KITES!! The thing that you fly at the park!" and he said, yes they sold kites. I arrived 5 minutes later and was greeted by one of the male employees who asked, "Hi, can we help you find anything?" and I said, "Yes, kites please," and he said, "Oh yeah, tights are right over ..." and I yelled, "KITES!! NOT TIGHTS!" He laughed and directed me to the kites. I ended up buying some Velcro mitt with a tennis ball and a cool pink frisbee as well. I think I paid around $20. No line, not crowded, fully stocked, tons of parking and the best employees!

Truly and excellent selection of sporting equipment for all types of sports! My wife and I stopped…read morein to pick her up some Hiking shoes over the weekend and the staff was very helpful. The store was also very organized and clean with lots of deals! It terms on hiking shoe selection they do have a decent amount of selection but most of the shoes are from the brand Denali which is exclusively sold at Big 5. Denali's are great if your looking for a budget option ~$30. They also had some Eddie Bauer & Hi Tec which are a good mid price ($40-$50). They were limited on the higher end options with only two pairs of Columbia ($70-$90). We ended up going with the the Colombia and my wife is thrilled because it's the most comfortable shoe. We both picked up some ecosox hiking socks and they are by far the most comfortable socks we've gotten! Which were recommended by the excellent staff. I'll admit that personally I've not been a big fan of Big 5 in the past because other stores have been cluttered, disorganized and picked over. But this store has changed my opinion! It seems to be excellently managed and I definitely will be looking here first the next time I need any sport equipment!
