Elite Sports has excellent products. Great brand in the BJJ and MMA arena. Clothing is quality. Gi's are excellent- light weight, built to last, durable and hold up very well in the wash...over and over. Prices are spot on, and quite frankly a bargain considering how well made their products are. Compression shirts & spats are the real deal, fit super well, don't pull, over-stretch or give because they are not cheap material. Color doesn't fade either- unlike some other competitors that you pay top dollar for gear and product doesn't hold up. Thanks to Diana Murphy and the folks at Elite Sports for the well made and affordable Ultra Light bjj gi. Of the gis that I have purchased so far, this is by far the lightest. The fit is good and the finish solid. This has helped make my movements feel less confined and me less self-conscious when training. The Elite Ultra Light BJJ Gi and rashguard can be an excellent add to your rotation of training gis and it won't break your budget. Nothing is worse than feeling buyers remorse after a purchase. I have found Elite sports to be a very competent and responsive organization. In particular, Steve Borton have exhibited professionalism and integrity and are a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend Elite Sports' products and the level of service is fantastic. 1. Shrinkage 4/5- before wearing the gi I washed it a handful of times and there was minimal shrinkage. 2. Comfort 4/5- the Gi is free flowing and easy to move in. The pants are non restrictive and allow for full range of motion when rolling or drilling. 3. Style 4/5- I received the black Gi to test and I was happy with the look of the Gi. The only thing I would change is the patches on the shoulders. 4. Durability n/a - I have only worn this Gi a few times however when rolling it feels reliable. The lapels feel strong and the triple stitching throughout the high stress areas is sound. read more

As a girl in a male dominated sport, finding the right training gear has proven to be a difficult task. I was introduced to Elite by one of my team mates who recommended I gave them a try. My first compliment goes to the speed of the fulfillment. My order arrived faster than I expected. the rashguard's material is very durable and flexible and reminded me of that used in compression running pants (which I happen to love). the material is breathable and after washing it, I was impressed by how fast it dried up. But most importantly, if you are a girl, you know how annoying it is to have your rash guard roll up during your rolls; with the Elite rash guard this was not a problem. the length is just enough to remain put through the toughest of rolls. read more

So we got the opportunity to mess around with the elite kick pad. It's lightweight yet sturdy. The size makes it great for kids and women, but it can also hold its own with advanced Muay Thai guys. The black out style makes it look sleek and stylish. It also comes in a variety of color accents. We would recommend this unit. The only draw back is the arm straps are not adjustable. We have a few Elite Sports products around the gym. Some of our students own Elite gloves, GI's, and grappling clothes. Elite Sports sells great quality products at an affordable price. As Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athlete who competes and train quite often I need multiple uniforms (GI) for training and competions. I recently order a Sport Elite Gi Black for $64 and can't really complain it's litght, but strong material. Only downsize for me is that I have size A1 and. I am around 5,6 tall and it's little bit shorter on pants then my other gis. So next I would go size up A2. I bought 2 gi's from Elite Sports, black & grey. I trained in the black gi yesterday and felt great. The gi was supposed to have a purple lining but didn't. Today I called to find out if it was still available with the lining. OMAR LOPEZ informed me that lining wouldn't be available in the future, but he put me hold for a few, was able to find one remaining in my size and sent it right out to me. Love, love, love my Elite Lightweight Gi. I wore it at Masters Worlds this year, and it was perfect. Passed inspection (I am about 200lbs, 5'10"; wore an A3) no problem, but was trim and tapered in the right places. Good seam construction and durable but still fairly supple; no burns yet. Best of all, it doesn't shrink much; I've washed it at least 20 times, and it is still good to go. Looks great, too; my navy Gi has great detailing without being too overboard. Really like the elasticized drawstring as well. I will continue to order and wear them. read more

Their products are of a superior quality in general. The spats have the best waistband and drawstring I've seen, and larger sizes for bigger legs. The gloves have great colors and gel protection. The Gis are light and strong, basically how I would like them. Their customer service. Gabiral Santos in particular, go above and beyond to male sure fighters are happy with their gear.
