I've had excellent experiences over the years at Yes. I've really enjoyed my club fitting sessions with Kevin. We've done many different sessions including drivers (multiple times), where we try out different manufacturers and shafts to really dial it in. My latest driver fitting has really helped: driver feels great, is consistent, and I don't have to think about much - relax and let it rip! I've also done separate iron, woods, and most recently a dedicated wedge session. The wedge fitting was awesome- ended up seeing much better numbers on a brand that wasn't on my radar. Numbers don't lie! Their Lab Golf putter fitting is excellent too - super knowledgeable and patient with you when going over all the specs. Overall Kevin is knowledgeable, patient and provides a ton of insight into dialing things in. Their technology for the hitting machines is up to date and clean too. If you're going to invest in some new equipment, I highly recommend you set up an appointment with Kevin read more

Fun place to go if you're looking to try state-of-the-art golf simulators and also have some fun with friends doing karaoke in the private rooms. Service and food were great. Pricing was not extreme like other places so definitely a good value. read more

I walked into the store without any acknowledgment from the lady behind the counter, which is OK I guess but it's a very small shop and I think you would say hi to people that won't walk in. Very limited on clothing, which I went for I think it's mainly to re-grip clubs, or maybe sizing your clubs. I did take notice when another customer walked in the store and the lady did acknowledge him. Maybe she knew him, but I won't be going back. I did find two Nike men's shirts on sale, but that was about it. read more

Issue with Custom LAB Putter Order I purchased a custom LAB putter, but I'm having an issue -- the loft angle is not correct. I have already requested a return call twice, but haven't received any response. I paid over $600 for the custom fitting and waited almost 4 months to receive the putter. After spending good money and waiting that long, this is very disappointing. If this issue is not resolved soon, I will share my experience and review on your website and other online platforms. Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this matter. read more

Great selection for everything you need. Service is outstanding. Definitely will return. They have a point system for shopping.

I called beforehand to ask how long it would take/would cost for putter regrip. I bought my own beforehand and it only costed $5. Can't really complain about that. He was really quick with it as well. It only took 5 minutes for him to change it. As with all regrips go, he warned me not to use it for at least 3 hours because it has to dry. I will most likely stop by again when I need to change my grips which will inevitably be soon. read more

I went to get my driver re shafted here and had nothing but issues. They sold me a shaft that was too small for the driver head and it kept separating from the club. I took it back to the store to have it repaired and the repair guy fixed it again for me free of charge. I take it out to use again and experience the same issue of the shaft separating from the club head. I take it back again asking if they are able to fix it or if I can get my money back. I was told they are unable to fix it because the shaft was too small for the driver head and I would not be issued a refund. As a new golfer I was recommended this store by a friend, but now it feels like I've just been taken advantage of because they sold me something that wouldn't even work with my club and were not willing to make it right. On a side note the repair guy is very helpful by he can only do so much. read more

I'm leaving this review based on my experience purchasing a shaft. When I placed the order in-store, I was told it would be ready within about a week. After I went home, I was informed that there would be a delay from Fujikura due to the Christmas week, and that it would likely be ready after Christmas. That part was understandable. However, after Christmas week passed, I received no follow-up at all. I had to reach out myself, and then was told there was another delay due to year-end issues and a move, and that it should be ready within the week. Still, by Saturday morning, I heard nothing. When I contacted the store again, I was told that the shaft was already ready. Delays can happen, but what really disappointed me was the lack of communication and follow-up. Every update only happened because I contacted them first. If there are delays or changes, I believe the shop should proactively reach out to the customer. read more

I have been going to Yes Golf for all my golf clubs, fitting, and grip changes on all my irons and driver. I will be going back for a wedge fitting soon. Kevin is very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly which makes the fitting process much more enjoyable and valuable. He will never try to upsell anything to anyone as he is an honest guy. YES Golf also buys preowned clubs (if they have the need for it) and I've gotten much better offers than Roger Dunn. Highly recommend this place!! Kevin is the man!! read more

Must Read!!! Writing a review of a product or service I purchased is not my thing. It's a waste of my invaluable time. However, there comes a rare moment when someone's belief gets completely shattered with a compelling reason. What is great customer service? One of the key elements of great customer service is to commit to "wowing" the customer and earning the customer's loyalty for life. You know what? At Yes Golf, you WILL find such inspiration. You become the focal point of their interest in finding a product to elevate your game to the next level! At Yes Golf, the people are professionals and courteous. They understand the joy and pain that you go through in the game of golf. Really. Here's my story. Last Saturday, I visited Yes Golf to adjust the lie for my Titleist T200 irons. Then, after speaking to Jay (1), the Sales Associate, I was compelled and excited to custom-fit my Titleist TSR2 driver. After rigorous testing with their latest technology, it finally came to fruition! Jay helped me find the Fujikura Ventus Red shaft that provided the most optimal results for my swing type. I was impressed and overjoyed! Jay advised me that it would take about 3 days after the order was placed, and I was simply thrilled about putting the shaft to the real test next Sunday. I stopped by the golf shop the following Saturday, thinking about smashing my best drives on Sunday with my new driver shaft. However, to my dismay, the shaft has not arrived. I spoke to Kevin to address my concerns, and he listened with diligence and empathy. Then, he came up with a great solution that defined outstanding customer service: He allowed me to use the last demo shaft they had for my round on Sunday until the new shaft was ready to be delivered! Unreal! Yes Golf, you have me as your loyal customer for life! I will brag about your amazing customer service to my friends and more. To all amateur golfers out there, don't be discouraged. There's hope. Yes, Golf can help you fulfill your hope and turn your fantasy about playing better golf closer to reality! Really. read more

Yes Golf - New custom irons! - Golf Equipment Near Me - La Habra, California

I have been frequently visiting this golf shop since working in La Mirada. I normally go there to get golf gloves. I went there a couple years ago to do a driver fitting and the experience was just ok, as I think my swing was not ready to get the full benefit. However, I felt confident about my swing and decided to do an iron fitting. I was fitted by Kevin Lee. He is the guy who does their YouTube videos reviewing current equipment. Kevin was very friendly, and patient in suggesting various iron head and shaft combinations. He explained the data on the screen and how different irons compared to each other. What I appreciated the most is Kevin's communication and willingness to work with me to find the right combination. With his suggestion, I got Mizuno Pro 243's with Project X LS xs shafts. I have to say they are amazing seem like the perfect fit! The value for their service and product was definitely worth it. Check out their YouTube channel to get an idea of who their fitter are. read more

TL;DR I came for some accessories, they have good service. I stopped by to buy a new glove and to find a putter cover. I have quite large hands which makes it hard to buy gloves online and just hope they fit. I was attended to quickly and after examining my hands they determined I probably needed a XXL glove. The first one they pulled out for me fit like a dream, they knew exactly what I needed. I have since brought two other friends to pick up some new gloves and they were very accommodating to their requests. Overall its a nice little store, we didn't feel too judged as we do stepping into other golf stores. Thanks Yes Golf! read more

I decided to try Yes Golf because I needed my putter regripped and it is less than 5 min. from my house. Most places don't regrip on the weekends, so it is nice that they do. However, 40 bucks for one grip is a bit steep. I was in a hurry and by the time I realized I was the one getting shafted it was too late. They charged me a 65% upcharge on a 17 inch Winn counter balance putter grip that is widely available for 17 bucks. Of course I didn't realize this until it was too late. The 4 dollar regripping fee is fair, but 40 bucks for one putter grip! Shame on me for paying that much. The putter was completed when they told me to return and it seems like they did a fine job, but 40 bucks! I won't be returning. read more

Scammed me $115 to re shaft two clubs just for them to break when I used it for my first time after getting them back. Went back to tell them and they said couldn't do anything about it. Used to be a great spot and i'm disappointed they couldn't help me in the slightest bit read more

Got an amazing knowledgeable and patient service from Kevin today on my custom fitted order of irons. Was able to easily narrow down from branding, shafts, weight options etc... If you're looking to invest in clubs be sure to utilize their custom fitting service - good mixture of looking at real data and you just knowing you found your glove in the midst of so many options... Gives you honest feedback and doesn't up sell you. Don't go to the bigger franchises that just sell you expensive stuff / generic service - support a small business that care about their customers and have competitive prices too. You Won't regret. Thanks again Kevin and Yes Golf - I'll be back for sure. read more

The owner came out tell me to go to Roger dunn for demo try,,,,!!?? I think this guy is making more money w u- tube instead of club selling. This was my second visit on this store after viewing u-tube and makes me angry with hie business attitudes. I will never go this place and un - subscribe the channel . Shitty worst after service. Worst than swap meet merchants. I spent $5000 purchasing PXG clubs here. I had a defect shaft putter. As soon as I walked in first thing they do is denial even before looking at it. They act so kind selling stuff but don't want to do anything other than collecting money. I just walked out didn't even want to exchange words with them. I called the PXG directly. They already knew about the defect. Anyhow, people~ do not spend one dime with these guys. Came in for a fitting a few weeks ago for irons and driver. Everything about the fitting was great as my fitter went through a large range of clubs to help me get the correct club, lie and loft in my hands. Mostly to why I didn't give a 5 star review is the fact that he wouldn't share any of the info of the clubs I got fitted for. At the end of the session he just gave a quote to what I needed to buy and that he would give me a discount if I wanted to order them that day. When I asked if I could get the info of the clubs, lie, loft and length he told me he would hold onto the info and when I am ready to order clubs he would take care of it. I asked well since I paid for a fitting could he atleast show me what was best for me and he declined. I'm sure he is afraid that I would take that info and order clubs somewhere else. Since I payed $200 and didn't get the I formation I needed I ended up going to different fitter and ended up ordering my clubs from Roger Dunn. read more

I went there to change a driver for my wife's birthday present. We got the golf club fitting for the first time. It was an amazing experience. Kevin Lee is the best professional golf club fitter. I highly recommend him. read more

2 stars on Yelp is "could've been better" and that summarizes my experience here exactly. I was hesitant to write this review because the staff seems nice here and people on Yelp are very high on this place, but here is my honest experience. Can't say I recommend this place is worth $150 for a one hour fitting. If you're gonna get fit, probably better to go somewhere where know they've been doing it for a while and aren't recommending you almost $2000 worth of clubs after the fitting. Probably should have just spent the money on TrueSpec. I got fit by a young guy named Josh and I don't ever recall saying I was looking to buy a new set of clubs (I was, and was actually considering buying at this place at one point) but it helps to have a conversation with the person to see "so are you looking to get a new set of clubs? What are your goals?" but from the get go it was fitting, then proposing I buy almost 2k worth of clubs. How is that looking out for the customer? It's trying to grab a sale from a brand new golfer rather than try to develop a customer relationship. I was serious about supporting a small business, but this place is doing just fine and you're paying a premium at other places because they will spend hours with you explaining every little detail. To be totally honest, I didn't feel like there was that "personal touch" you would expect from a small business. Ask if I have any questions rather than just wrap it up. I asked if there was any sort of discount or promotion for customers who buy a significant amount, and I was told you get "half the fitting fee" for trading in your clubs. Are you serious? $75 for a bag of Callaway irons? Yeah, straight money grab. Pretending to be polite (that's basic customer service) and going through the motions is one thing. Learn how to build a rapport and genuinely care about the customer, especially if they're trusting you for advice. Perhaps if I had gotten the original guy who people wrote about on Yelp my experience might have been different, but the minimal knowledge I gained (which is already stuff I have heard) and rushing to provide me an $1800 quote merits this rating for sure. I really don't understand the positive reviews, but then again, I came in here only for a fitting and came out pretty underwhelmed. 2 stars (not 1, which is "not good" on Yelp) because it did confirm I need extra stiff, I have long arms, and he explained some of the launchpad numbers to me (which I still don't have a copy of, so I guess that isn't included in the $150 price tag) Again, go elsewhere for a real fitting with experienced professionals. I wanted to support a small business, but instead got recommended $1800 worth of clubs without a real conversation about whether I was interested in buying or not. Really not a good look. EDIT: Another thing, I was also considering asking if I could get my clubs shortened here but was given a pretty run around answer on additional costs for labor, blah blah...obviously there's labor costs man. Just tell me if you can or not and the actual price rather than give me an ambiguous answer on why it costs more. Again, didn't really sit will with me. read more

I feel like I went through hell and back to get my clubs just right and Kevin at Yes Golf was right there for me every step of the way! I had purchased a set of PXG irons online. I know, I know, you're supposed to get fitted THEN buy the clubs. But I wasn't about to pay $400 a club and I found a sweet deal on a set of used PXGs that I just couldn't pass up. After a fitting session, it was determined I should be using a lighter shaft. Specifically, the perfect shafts (from what I had tested), turned out to be Nippon NS Pro Zelos 7 with a steel shaft. So, being the frugal person I am, rather than buying the shafts new, I checked Ebay and found the exact shafts I needed. Plus, it was a set of nine shafts which exactly how many I needed. I purchased the shafts, brought them to Kevin and they installed them for me. After I tried them out, it seemed as if the shafts were a bit too short. So, I called Kevin and he said no problem, bring them in along with my old irons. He said he could extend my shafts that he just installed to match them to the length of my previous set of irons. I brought them in and he had them done within one day. When I picked them up, he had me hit some balls and yes, the new shaft length was perfect. I then asked if he could check the lie angle and he said no problem. He checked that and it turned out I was off by about 2 degrees, which is exactly the maximum amount PXGs can be bent anyway, so it worked out perfect. He said if I wanted to go to the range and hit balls he would bend my irons right then and there, and I could pick them up after I was done. I went to hit balls for an hour, came back and, as promised, my irons were done. I hit some more balls to check the lie angle and now there were PERFECT. I've only played my new irons twice since then but let me tell you, I LOVE THEM! What a difference a nice set of properly fit irons makes. Kevin did a great job and was very patient with me through the entire process. They did a great job and I will never go anywhere else should I ever need to buy clubs, get fitted, get new grips, etc. Oh, I also got fitted for a driver and ended up buying the Mizuno ST200G. I was pretty surprised because I normally hit Ping or TaylorMade drivers... I would never have even thought to try a Mizuno. This just shows that it's better to go to a place with a nice selection of clubs, not a shop that only carries the top three brands. Thank you Kevin! And if any of you are looking for clubs, a club fitting, etc., don't hesitate-call Kevin now! read more
