Love the bike shop. Hate the hours. Every time I want to get over there after work. Closed. If it was open even until 7:00 PM I probably would have dropped a couple more thousand. I guess it is what it is. read more

Long overdue review: Don't think, but go here for a new bike or service. The owner (Mike) and his crew are top notch and will take care of you. You will not just be another customer, but will be joining a huge family. There are many reasons why the family has grown to be so huge that I won't elaborate on here, I think you get the point. Yes, there are a lot of "other" shops in the area and some may have better deals. But I think in today's world, service means a lot more. And I can guarantee that no matter who helps you there, you will get quality service. read more

Needed some help changing out my pedals. Rick was super helpful and friendly. He took the time to answer all my questions and provided helpful tips on my clipless pedals. Place is kept clean, plenty of parking in the back. My neighbor had recommended this place as he's been coming here for years. 10/10! read more

Best bike shop around, the guys that work here are all so cool! They always have a solution, and can trust them to give you an honest fair price. My son came in to have his tires looked at. We were warmly greeted as soon as we went into the store. The gentleman that helped us was very knowledgeable, nice and professional. The shop looks nice, but I left feeling a bit misled. Brought in a brand new bike just to adjust the brake cable... Nothing was broken. The mechanic said the parts were too cheap and quoted $60 per brake cable to replace them. It didn't feel right, so I went home and tightened one screw myself. Now the brakes work perfectly. Maybe they just didn't want to deal with lower-end bikes, but it came across like they were trying to sell something unnecessary. read more

The staff at Fullerton Bikes are incredible! They treated me like family from the minute I walked in the door. They were patient with me & answered all of my questions. I recently had to purchase a new set of clincher wheels from this shop and also a bar mount for my phone. Wheels are great, mount is also very sturdy and am happy on both counts. When I picked it up the bike was super clean, they took it upon themselves to do that. About a month ago I went to my local shop in Brea and paid them to install new bar tape and clean the bike. When I picked it up it had been cleaned yet there were still smudged areas on the frame. Even though I will have to drive further I will be going to FBC from now one, their work ethic is fantastic! read more

I came to the shop with my son. I was there to buy a helmet and needed help to make sure I was getting the right size. Awesome local bike shop, bought my bike here had an issue and they not only fixed it but took care of me on some new parts I wanted to get to make this bike "mine" quick turn around to keep me on the trail and they have always been there for me any time I've needed. They are reasonable which most local shops aren't their prices match the online shops so it makes sense to support local all the up sides and no shipping costs! read more

We typically use yelp to browse for food recommendations but the service we received here was so phenomenal that we just had to leave a review. Below is from my girl's perspective but I whole heartedly share the same sentiments. This is the bike shop to go to! We stopped by to get me fitted & Jeff (I believe it was Jeff. He has a "pedal" tattoo) was so experienced, patient, and helpful. All he did was look at me and he somehow adjusted it perfectly on (if I'm remembering correctly) the first try. He adjusted other attachments on the bike as well to make my riding experience more comfortable. He answered my questions, freely gave helpful advice, and never once made me feel intimidated, stupid, or a bother. I believe the owner of the shop was the one who helped us load the bike into my car later too when he saw we were struggling. He was also generous and kind to us! We arrived 30 min before closing, and I was feeling so bad that it was the earliest we could make it due to work, but we were treated with kindness through and through. If you're new to the cycling world and feel overwhelmed, or you're experienced and have been burned by other shops, give them a try! And for my fellow ladies out there: these men are absolute gentlemen! They aren't dismissive, judgmental, or patronizing. This place is a safe space for us! read more

My fiancé has been wanting a new bike for over a year, but with us working on saving for our wedding, he kept putting it off. While he was away on a business trip, I decided to look for a local bike shop and came across Fullerton Bicyles. I went in with a tight budget and a few bikes in mind, but honestly, I was nervous as I'm not a cyclist and not sure if I'd be taken seriously. From the moment I walked in, Jeff, the general manager, made me feel welcome. He asked thoughtful questions about my fiancé and patiently explained each bike I was considering. He knew exactly what would suit him best in terms of size and type. One of the bikes I loved was way over my original budget, and I felt overwhelmed. But Jeff told me not to rush as most people spend days or even weeks deciding. That alone made me feel so much more comfortable. I came back the next day, and Jeff again helped me pick a bike that fit within my budget range. It wasn't built yet, but he promised it'd be ready for us to view the following day. Although I initially wanted it to be a surprise, I brought my fiancé back with me. When we arrived, the bike was there, tagged with my name..a blue Cervelo Soloist. After taking it home, we had some second thoughts about sizing, especially since Cervelo's website said Danny might fit a 54 instead of the 51 we bought. I was so nervous as I wasn't sure about their exchange policy, but texted Jeff the next morning. Within minutes, he responded with total understanding and told us to come by anytime to test the 54. We went that Saturday and even though Jeff wasn't there, his team was so kind and accommodating. We ended up talking to other Fullerton Bikes customers, and they jumped in to help too! Their Instagram bio says they have the best customers and employees, and now I understand why. Turns out, the original size was spot-on. Danny is so happy, and we've been raving to everyone about the experience. Jeff even followed up with a phone call today just to make sure everything was okay. If you're thinking of getting a bike, this is the place. They treat you like a longtime friend, not just a customer. I truly can't recommend Fullerton Bicycles enough! read more

Looked online and FBC had the bike I was looking for. Called and spoke to Jeff and he confirmed the bike was in stock. Told him I wanted it and he put on lay away for me. Lucky too, since a few others called right after me for the same bike. Showed up at the shop (first time), met with Jeff, and he got everything all set up for me. Bike ready, did a test ride, asked if I needed anything else, and was done pretty quick. Store itself is a nice looking shop with a good amount of inventory - bikes and accessories. They also have another shop just a few stores down that focuses on e-bikes. They had some sales going on and the prices looked very tempting. I'll have to visit the shop again, but maybe not too soon - I may end up picking up another bike! read more

I had an amazing experience yesterday with Ricardo at Fullerton Bicycles. I called ahead to ask if I needed to make an appointment for servicing my bike and they said to come in anytime during business hours. I arrived at about 5 pm expecting to drop off my bike and pickup another time as the sign out front showed 7 day wait time for service. I had a very poor previous experience at another local bike shop and was mad at myself for not going to Fullerton because they have always been honest, friendly and fair. The previous bike shop told me I needed new tires ($200) after replacing a tube. When I asked Ricardo he told me no, the tires were fine and he'd work on my other issues right away. He put it up on the rack and within 15 minutes, told me he thinks he resolved it (my chain was slipping in the first 3 gears when I'd ride and this issue only appeared after the previous bike shot repaired my tire). I took the bike out for a spin in the parking lot and confirmed he resolved the problem! I expected to pay the price of a tune up for his work and asked how much I owned for the work that was done, he responded and said you don't owe me anything, I'm glad I was able to fix your bike and get you in quickly. This is not the first time I've had a spectacular experience with Fullerton but they have now won a customer for life. The entire team there was attentive and I was asked by 5 different employees if I'd been helped. I will never go to another bike shop again. Honestly, kindness and great selection. Thank you to all of you and your team!!! read more

Always friendly and go above and beyond. -All staff I talked to are friendly and give honest advice. -Even telling me what upgrades aren't necessary. - adjusted brakes for free while changing out a flat. Attention to detail - great inventory of parts and tires. - they have it or will find what you need. Been there many times, same experience. Very competitive prices. Amazon and eBay have a lot of knock offs shimano parts. Buy here for piece of mind. Support this local business. Their e-bike shop next door is great as well. After getting a bike here, I can't stop recommending both places. Warranty claims, tune-ups, fast service and employees that genuinely loves bikes. They do it all. Honest, fair and motivated hobbyist work here. read more

The service facility here has saved me more times than I'd embarrassingly would like to say with my new Tri Bike I had purchased. I feel like I've been blessed with good cyclery shops here in Fullerton to be honest. Keep in mind, bike shops ARE busy.. but somehow I have always been lucky enough to get help, get quick diagnostics, & find enough help to get me back out...so much appreciation to the crew at FB. Everyone has been super helpful--Ethan, Matt(?), and all the guys up front. Also...they have a legit store to shop around in. Most if not all their bikes are Giant (Seems like every bike shop has their specialty bikes). But they carry extensive amounts of tire options, bike maintenance accessories, tape, and even sunglasses. Which reminds me to go back just to look at their sunglasses. Haha. Looks like they even host some group rides which is cool. I'll have to find and check that out as well. read more

Check end of review for advice if you fall off your bike. Review: Friendly staff, quick and responsive maintenance service. Good communication on status of your bike. They love bikes and want to share their love with others. Military and law enforcement friendly. Cozy and welcoming showroom; enjoyable stroll thru the aisles daydreaming on rides. I love to just hang out there and the staff welcome it. Instructions on priority of verification post falling off a bicycle 1. Check surrounding area for any witnesses. Assess embarrassment level. Smile and wave. 2. Verify status of your baby, I mean bicycle. Ask yourself, can I still ride back home? Remember a crooked handlebar is ok. 3. Check for any injuries 4. I had the pleasure of working with Mike directly from Fullerton bike shop. Not only do they have quite the selection but if you add the service and expertise you'll realize quickly that you're getting more than just a bike. If I could give Fullerton Bike Shop more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This place is a cyclist's dream come true, and my experience here was nothing short of extraordinary. From my initial visit to multiple follow-up trips, it's been a pleasure every step of the way. When I first walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Mike Franze. Mike's enthusiasm for cycling is genuinely infectious. He took the time to listen to what I was looking for, understanding both my budget and needs, instead of trying to upsell me on something I didn't need. The shop has an extensive range of options--from road bikes to mountain bikes and accessories--but Mike helped me narrow down my choices in a way that was easy to understand. Once we settled on a bike that fit me perfectly, both physically and for my riding style, the service didn't stop there. Mike took it upon himself to ensure that the bike was perfectly tuned and that I knew all the basics of bike maintenance before I rode out of the shop. Not many places offer this level of after-sales service anymore. I've returned a couple of times for regular service appointments, and the team continues to impress. Mike remembers not just my name but also intricate details about what I'm looking for in my cycling journey. The mechanics are top-notch too, offering quick and reliable fixes, making sure my bike runs as smooth as the day I bought it. I've visited other bike shops before, but none come close to the level of customer service, expert knowledge, and dedication that Fullerton Bike Shop offers. It's rare to find a business that goes above and beyond in every aspect--product range, quality, and after-sale service--but this shop nails it. In a world where retail experiences are increasingly impersonal, Mike and the team at Fullerton Bike Shop are a breath of fresh air. I can't recommend this shop highly enough. Whether you're a newbie to cycling like I was, or a seasoned pro looking for a shop that will take your needs seriously, Fullerton Bike Shop is the place to go. Trust me, your search for the perfect bike shop ends here. read more

Awesome experience! I came into the shop with an open mind, limited knowledge, and hope to get my first bike. I had the pleasure of being assisted by Brent, who went out of his way to assist me with all the basics and need-to-knows. I wasn't sure exactly what I was looking for, and he helped me narrow down my options and was incredibly knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and kind. He helped me get fit for a hybrid bike, and even got me fitted for a helmet (thanks for the reminder I need one of those!). They had a variety of selection for bikes and helmets, and I noticed several bikes were on sale and beat out comparable online prices. Brent even assisted with getting the bike in my car and offered to show me how to remove the front wheel. I was very nervous and intimidated going into the store, and I am so glad that Brent and his team were there to make the experience calm and exciting! This service and value, plus the year of service on the bike purchase, make shopping here a no-brainer. Super stoked to start cruising! read more

I came here right before closing with my bike that I thought had gotten a part stolen. I took my bike to this shop to see if they could repair it, and upon a simple check, they let me know that no parts were stolen. Just in case, they took my bike to the back and double-checked that all parts were there and in working condition. For no extra charge, they also pumped my tires up, did a service check on it, and helped me load it into my car. I appreciate the extra length this bike shop went to to help me with my bike! Not only did they set my mind at ease after I thought parts were stolen, but they helped me out for free and with a positive attitude. I'll definitely come back here in the future if I ever have needs for my bike - highly recommend it for a repair, service, new bike, or any other biking need you might have! read more
