Wow! Beyond impressed with this bike shop!!! Tim P is a GENIUS cyclist and spent nearly 2 1/2 hours explaining all things cycling to me, a newbie in the cycling world. I was very overwhelmed by all the things I needed to begin this cycling adventure with my brand new bike* but Tim made sure I had EVERYTHING I needed. *(I purchased my Trek Domane A4 at Main Street Cycle in Buena Park--another impressive shop! Aaron Perez was also extremely patient and helpful and we've been in contact now for weeks as I waited for my bike to arrive---he referred me to Tim). Tim explained the mechanics--how to remove a tire, fix a tube, shift, brake, clip in/out and outfitted me with absolutely everything I could possibly need for my first ride! I'm excited to go back and have a proper bike fit done with him (it's way less $$ here, too, as he's an OG and doesn't see the need for the fancy computer telling him what his experience already knows). He is extremely knowledgeable and VERY patient. Will, one of the gentlemen working in the shop, quickly added water bottle cages, a cell phone holder and other gadgets to my bike while Tim spent even more time with me. At the end, Tim helped me mount the bike on my SeaSucker Talon--letting me do it myself as much as possible so I was confident in my own abilities! What a G! Made an appointment with Tim for a bike fit. Simple, old school bike fit. Tim set cleat position, and observed me pedaling. More adjustments: seat height, and fore and aft, and some advice on pedaling technique. Next: front end, posture, arm and hand positions were observed. Recommended a longer stem to improve posture and open up the chest area by allowing to straighten my arm, elbow and hand positions. Will ride with the new position and see how it helps. read more

I went to see Tim for a bike fit several weeks ago. He was very knowledgeable and helped adjust my cleats, seat and handles bars on my road bike. Before making any changes, he takes into account your flexibility and normal riding position. I've put over a hundred miles on my bike, and I now feel that I can put down more power on my bike and ride longer in comfort. If you need a bike fit, look no further. Bought an ebike and experienced problems with the brakes failing. Tim explained that the manufacturer used regular bicycle brakes and given the weight and speed of the ebike hydraulic brakes were necessary. Aaron determined the correct brakes and swapped them out. I recently purchased a Cannondale Supersix through them and was very happy. Tim helped me through the whole process of measuring to make sure I bought the correct size. I highly recommend that you do this before you purchase a new bicycle. Size does matter. After I rode my new bike for a few miles I went in and had him do a professional bike fitting. Also highly recommend if you want to be able to produce the most power and do it efficiently while being comfortable! I learn something new every time I walk into this store! Amazing from start to finish. Yesterday started with us taking in bikes we didn't touch for 10+ years (left in the sun, rusty, etc). These wonderful people had them good as new THE SAME DAY!!!! We don't remember these bikes riding so smooth even when they were new! The guys in the shop were super knowledgeable and took as much time as was needed to talk through every aspect with us. We were so pleased with our bikes we went back yesterday evening to have our kids fittted for their first "big person" bikes with no training wheels! They say find a good local dealer to buy your bike vs. buying online and I would 100% agree with that. I came here in Feb. to try and decide what was right for me and they were very helpful in bike type for my needs and sizing. Went back a couple weeks later and and very happy with my purchase of a 2021 Cannondale Quick 3 and pleased with my dealings with their staff. They helped me set up an appropriate size and seat height. There was no pressure to buy what they had in stock, but just so happens it was the size i felt was the best fit vs the L I test rode in a different Cannondale model. I have since been back twice for a couple of minor adjustments to the drivetrain during the break in. The tech that helped me both times is on point and quick to know exactly what was wrong and tunes the issue out within minutes. The tweak today I believe to have been my fault creating the stress on the drivetrain, but they quickly resolved it no questions asked. This goes without saying why you should support your local businesses and it's nice to know the post sales support is just as good as the day I purchased my bike. read more
