Overall would be back to try some new flavors if I'm in the area.

Very kumquat forward and it was refreshing. I added & grass jelly to it. honeydew smoothie with honey bob 5/5 I usually don't like smoothies or milky drinks but this honeydew flavor was so good and it wasn't milky. Perfect balance! The honeydew was distant and not super artificial flavored. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Our go to for boba place in MT Market shopping center. It's a busy area, and the coffee shop itself had a decent crowd. It also looks like a popular spot for people to come and work. I met up with a buddy to catch up, and we both ordered iced coffee. I also got a frosted cinnamon roll. The baristas were nice, but unfortunately, neither the coffee nor the cinnamon roll really did it for me. The iced coffee tasted extremely bland, even after I added some creamer and sugar. It just didn't have much flavor and wasn't hitting the way I'd hoped. The cinnamon roll was also extremely dry. Usually, if something is just a little below par, I'm pretty easygoing about it, but this one was legitimately not very good. Great location, nice staff, and a cool atmosphere for working or hanging out, but unfortunately the food and drinks just weren't there for me. I probably wouldn't go back.

The half wintermoon was delicious. It had a unique flavor and was well balanced. The quantity was good too. The bread itself was a little too grainy for liking. However the coffee was spectacular. We originally thought we could sit and enjoy the pastries there because we saw photos with a table and chairs, so I wanted to mention this for anyone planning a visit. Everything we tried was fresh, soft, and delicious. I definitely recommend giving this place a try! Just make sure to check the names and fillings beforehand so you know what you're getting. Personally, I loved all the buns we tried, especially the sausage bun and the sweet coconut bun. Definitely coming back!

The bad: Nothing vegan or healthy, not even pre-made cold sandwiches or packaged salads. If you are a little peckish for a healthy snack, this is not the place. The coffees: They have all the regular espresso drinks, and also Turkish coffee and of course Yemeni, their specialty. I had heard great things about Yemeni coffee and was exciting to try it. My first drink, a traditional coffee drink called Jubani ($6) contained coffee but was watery like a tea. It had also ginger and cinnamon. I was not expecting it to be like a tea. I immediately told the cashier I didn't like the drink and would like just an Americano, double shot espresso. I was charged $9 for a 12 oz cup. No cream or sugar, no added flavorings. If I were in charge I wouldn't have charged for this second drink, since it comes at almost zero cost to them and would show good faith and ensure repeat business. Disappointingly, the Americano was also watery and sort of "lemony", but I still drank half while sitting with my friend. I'll say that my friend had some sort of an iced latte that she enjoyed. I might try a second visit and order a Turkish coffee, but I will make sure to have had a full meal before.
