Must get tuna poke again!! We went near closing time and the nachos were sold out. So sad. I was excited for it but i got tuna poke and omg the sauce is crack. I would eat a tub of that alone on rice!!! Definitely getting it again in future. Loco moco is good but not my fave. Pog juice is pog.

Ordered lunch to go to enjoy at a local brewery and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the meal! My husband and I shared a spam musubi (yummy, sweet sauce on it) along with the fire dance salmon which was good quality and flavor, and my husband really enjoyed the seasoning on the rice, too! We also opted for the Mac salad which was soooo good. Noodles cooked perfectly and delicious sauce too. It was packed inside when I went to pick it up, so that further shows me how quality aloha alley is! Def will be back.

$16.95: loco moco

My friends and I went to Aloha Alley to grab dinner around 7:30pm on a Friday. One of my friends and I are from Hawaii, and I asked the cashier if anyone on the staff was from Hawaii, and he said the chef was. The restaurant probably operates more on takeout, but there are a few tables where you can take your takeout and sit down, which is what we did. There were three other parties at the time, and it is a no frills ambiance. We ordered the tsunami nachos ($14.99), loco moco ($16.95), butter garlic shrimp ($16.95), big kahuna plate (kalbi, teri chicken, longanisa) ($24), and POG ($5/each - they had BOGO). Overall, the food was fine, and if you're from Hawaii and desperate, you can satisfy your craving. The tsunami nachos (ahi) were honestly the best thing, albeit the least authentic. The flavors were spot on, and I thought the wonton nachos complemented the fish more than regular chips would. For the loco moco, the hamburger was dry and overcooked. The garlic shrimp had a mild version of the flavors you would experience from a shrimp truck back home. Everything in the big kahuna plate lacked seasoning, and the kalbi was tough and chewy. The POG tasted very natural, but I was expecting a Hawaiian Sun or similar canned drink for nostalgia reasons. Again, the food is fine, and the prices are appropriate for the area. I just went in expecting to have a taste of home, and the flavors didn't live up to my experiences.

Legit Hawaiian-style poke. Obviously more expensive than in Hawaii, but you're not going to find poke like this very easily anywhere else in NYC. Comes with rice (not pictured)

I've never had Hawaiian food but I wanted to try it for a minute. I pulled up to aloha valley. It's in dumbo a pretty good area. They specialize in poke and Hawaiian food so I ordered the big kahuna. Where you get a good mix of everything. Rice, 3 Meats, and macaroni salad. Plus I got a side salad. Priced at $24 but they pack it out with protein. I like how they add sesame on the rice it adds a nice crunch. There's chicken, steak and I think pork. I really wanted to try this Hawaiian mac salad. It's different from how Caribbeans make it but it compliments the meal. After eating everything, it fills me up but doesn't leave me sluggish. It's a pretty good meal. Customer service was straight forward. Shout out to the guy who helped me. Food didn't take too long. I would definitely come back to explore the Hawaiian flavors.

We stopped by after walking around DUMBO for a bit and I always love Hawaiian food so I'd figure we give this place a try. It was alright but nothing to write home about. The fish and flavors of the kamikaze nachos was good but the wonton chips were hit or miss. Some were too oily and not crisp enough. Some were too hard that it hurt my teeth to bite into. The spicy garlic shrimp flavor-wise was also good but we're never fans of places that keep the tails on the shrimp. It just makes it harder to eat. The restaurant itself is nice though and maybe the poke bowls and other dishes are better.

Located in Dumbo, just a short walk from the waterfront, Aloha Alley is a laid-back spot offering traditional Hawaiian dishes like musubi, poke, loco moco at reasonable prices. The portion sizes were generously large. The teri chicken was excellent! It was tender with a delightful balance of sweetness and tang. The macaroni salad was the perfect side for this dish. It also comes with furikake rice. I have never had it before, but it was a savory and unique flavor profile. Service was also fast and kind. It was refreshing to find a reasonably priced restaurant in such a tourist-heavy area of Dumbo.

What a fun find! My husband and I ordered from here for the second time today and we just love how fresh and delicious the food is. The poke nachos are divine! Crispy wontons as nachos with fresh ahi, chopped jalapeños + pineapple and topped with sauces that only elevate the dish. It's such a good blend of crispy fatty goodness. I got the fire dancer salmon poke tonight and that was really as fresh and flavorful. The cooked bowls aren't bad either but the Mac salad doesn't compare to other Hawaiian spots-it lacks that certain something. Regardless, it's such a fun spot to order from.

I came by with a friend for a post-workout meal in DUMBO. It's a nice, little Hawaiian spot for a casual dine-in or grab to-go and enjoy at Pebble Beach. You don't find Hawaiian food often in NY, so this is a nice treat with a variety of plates, musubis, poke, and nachos. Between the two of us, we shared the Longanisa Musubi Combo ($12), Kamikaze Nachos ($14.99), and BBQ Surf & Turf ($16.95). The combo also came with a POG drink, which was good but not sure I'd pay $5 for it. The musubi was OK, nothing all too special really. The surf and turf was nice to try both the chicken and shrimp, but I wish we could've picked a different flavor for the shrimp. The favorite was the nachos, which is the perfect order to share. Next time I'd have to try the poke and their garlic shrimp to really compare to Hawaii. Otherwise, glad to have this spot in Brooklyn.

Everything was sooo good & fresh! I got the Tsunami nachos & matcha lemonade 10/10! The nachos were flavorful & there was enough toppings for every chip; lemonade was refreshing & paired well with the nachos

Obsessed with this new Hawaiian spot from the Em Vietnamese team. Came for a casual dinner one night and ordered the musubi combo (pork longanisa and POG), and the Teri chicken bbq (comes with mac salad). My favorite items were the mac salad and POG. Pork longanisa was also excellent. Would try the poke next time. Shave ice is also apparently coming soon - fingers crossed!

Service 5/5: Friendly service. Because it wasn't too busy, the waitstaff were always attentive. Ambiance 5/5: Quiet, calm/warm lighting, music wasn't too loud. Felt like a private dining experience which I liked. Food 5/5: A lot of AYCE options. Almost everything is self serve but you have to ask for the meats. Can't comment on specific house made drinks since we didn't try any and their included soft drinks were more than enough. I wanted to come back for the stone crab which they sadly didn't have this time. They had blue crab and clams this time, so I'm assuming there might be some seasonal items. They also have new desserts on the house which were nice (See brown sugar rice cakes picture. These were too sweet for me but they were free so I can't complain).

This place also has regular BBQ meat sticks in addition to the hot pot meat sticks. The chicken, lamb, beef, and all the standard organ sticks are cooked very well. Everything is moist and not overly seasoned. Sometimes at these places the seasoning can be overly sweet or overly salty, but that was not the case here. The tins of mushrooms, especially the one with the beef, were also great. Besides fatty beef and enoki mushrooms, there were wood ear mushrooms, peppers, and a bunch of other things like a few rice cakes. Definitely get this if you love buttery, brothy beef with mushrooms and vegetables. The garlic eggplants are also super good if you love a roasted garlic overload. You can also order off the sheet by checking off the items and listing the quantity, which is very convenient. The only thing I did not think was worth it was the watermelon juice. One pitcher was twenty two dollars and it barely served six to seven small tea cups worth. Will definitely come back for the AYCE menu next time.
