I was friendly and pleasant but it didn't seem like my nail tech Dewey was motivated to do his job. He claimed to have 14 years of experience while simultaneously not knowing anything about duck shape nails or colors like marshmallow. C'mon every nail tech worth their salt knows marshmallow. He seemed really annoyed when I wanted my crooked nail fixed and made straight, even though I requested it from the jump. He suggested I just wait until next visit. Why would I want to look at a crooked nail for 2 to 3 weeks?!! Just unreal. He had the nails on my right hand longer than my left hand & I had to point that out, only then was that remedied. Can you imagine?!!! He didn't seem to know how to buff and file the nails well and even cut me at one point to where I began bleeding. The place is so low vibe, low energy. No one seemed happy, friendly or vibrant. I dislike writing negative reviews but if it helps others avoid a negative experience it's worth it!

This girl is talented!! I've always struggled with having builder gel/hard gel last, it always used to lift at the cuticle. Leila is so meticulous that I don't have they problem anymore. She is thorough in there ability to perfectly clean up the cuticle and prep the nail for polish. My manicured last for 5 to 6 weeks now, something I never would thought possible. Leila is incredibly talented, she can do pretty much any design that one would desire and she's always coming up with new techniques to make your nails stand out. Leila is located inside of Lola's Salon, there is usually parking but sometimes another business in the strip mall seems to have an event going which clogs parking up. Leila maintains a clean and comfortable space with a soothing ambiance. She is polite and always on time. She always is just a genuinely nice person, you can tell that she loves her craft and she cares about her clients being happy. Leila also offers a loyalty punch card which is so cool. She is working towards becoming an educator for one of the polish brands, which I don't know anyone else that is going that route so I am impressed. I highly recommend Leila!

I can't speak for the quality of every nail technician but this nail set in the picture was horrible compared to the 4 week old gel-x set that I had before this. When "Christine" was applying the extensions, I know I should have just completely stopped her there immediately. She was placing them crooked and unaligned from the beginning. The craziest part was when she was struggling to form a French tip with the dip powder and said, "It's hard because it's dirty." She went on to explain that the reason she was struggling was because the person who used the powder before her DIDN'T CLEAN IT PROPERLY. Now I'm just thinking about an infection because she cut me twice. I felt the first cut on the table and found the second one later in the night. My bleeding stopped very quick but it's was still very painful and uncomfortable on my cuticle. She ended up apologizing a lot for the 2 full hours she had me there, gave up on the dip powder and ended up just painting the French tip on in the end. This technician also tried to form an apex with the gel top coat which resulted in a very blobby form. It was $90 dollars. She knew she did a terrible job and she knew she kept me too long. Two other girls around said to just call if you need help. Again, I can't speak for all their employees I've heard that the "owner" and "May" give very great service, but I don't know if I'm truly ever coming back here.

Disappointing Experience - Poor Quality and Dishonest Service…read more I paid $150 for a full set of professional acrylic nails, and within just a few days they started lifting and falling off. I finally had my first day off and came in to have them fixed, only to be told they wouldn't do them. The man at the front desk suddenly acted like he barely spoke English--even though on my last visit, he spoke fluently and even translated for other staff. When I explained the situation to the nail tech, she spoke to him, and he claimed that they only offer fixes within 7 days. No one pays that much for nails that last a week--you'd be better off using drugstore press-ons, like I usually do. It seems like they rely on young, inexperienced workers to apply "professional" acrylics, and the quality just doesn't match the price. Very disappointed.
