TLDR: do not hire for anything other than spot repairs for leaking roofs…read more So we hired this company to repair a leak coming down in our garage. Sales person came out for review to make an assessment on what would be involved. In the conversation they offered to clean the roof, I told them there's a lot of moss up there and they said they could easily do that. Oh they cleaned something, just not the whole roof. They got the entire north side of my house covered in caked on globs of dirt. This included everything around there like my A/C exterior fan unit, my trash bins, my shed, my storage lockers and my deck boxes. They left a hose, my hose, on the roof and running all night long until my wife spotted it the next morning. My front hose was also used, I know this because instant of rolling it back up using the roll they just left it all piled up at the corner of my house. Now told them about this, and the person who responds just always says they'll get in touch with their "experts" and let me know. Eventually they came back to finish cleaning the roof and clean up the mess on the side of the house. They came and went then I got home and checked, looked like they took about two seconds to clean some of the side but ran off to their next project. It was in no way clean or even in the condition it was in prior to their work. As for the roof being cleaned and moss control applied, I can't get all the way up on the 2nd floor roof to know but my HVAC company came out to do some other work related to "Smokey cedar smell in air ducts, & they climbed up to the 2x!: floor and took photos. There was no moss control applied on the 2nd floor roof and miss was growing everywhere on the west back side, yes this was the very next day after M&H came. Cleaning and moss control were services we agreed M&H would do.m, but they clearly didn't yet still charged me for it. Oh and that donkey cedar smell? Sawdust in the HVAC exhaust line from roof & vent repairs. So basically the roofing company offered a series of services they never fully executed. I had to hire a different company to complete the gutter work and re-clean the lower & upper roofs and apply moss control up on the 2nd roof. Then I had to clean out my HVAC vents, and I had to wash and scrub the exterior of my house. How are they still in business is beyond me.

He took the time to thoroughly explain the process, answer all of my questions, and prepare a detailed scope of work that addressed my concerns. After the installation, a few items required follow-up, and the crew returned to complete the necessary rework. While this was initially disappointing, I understand that issues can arise during any project. I was very impressed with Pete, Mike, the sales manager, and the crew foreman for the way they managed the situation and ensured I was completely satisfied with the final result. Thank you to everyone at Orca Roofing for your professionalism and commitment to customer satisfaction.

ORCA!!!!!! (2 reviews in 1.) After 26 yrs my parents house…read moreneeded a new roof. I had 5 different contractors come out for an estimate. Orca was NOT the cheapest option nor the most expensive option, they ended up being middle of the road. I decided to go with them because Chris was VERY THOROUGH and explained EVERYTHING to me. The crew came out and knocked it out of the park, literally took them 2.5 days and it was done. This was back in June 2025, we are currently in the heart of winter and have had some serious rainy days and EVERYTHING's been GREAT, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES! Fast forward to February 2026, I was so impressed by their service and workmanship I called them when the roof at my own house started to leak. (The leak was NOT because of age but the shotty workmanship from our builder Connor Homes.) I spoke to Chris again and he set me up with Peter. Peter and crew came out and temporarily covered my roof until they are able to get me in the books. Peter and crew came back in about a week and took care of my roof. The entire process took about 2 days and literally 3 days after they were done we had a crazy rain storm. Once again, NO LEAKS, NO ISSUES. Orca Roofing is 2 for 2 with me, priced right and took care of my roof issues. There are not too many trustworthy businesses these days but I can honestly vouch for these guys. Thank you for taking care of my roof issues and now I can actually sleep at night.

But despite the cost, I went with them because their proposal was clearly superior to the other companies'. It was detailed, with a clear explanation of all systems and materials recommended and transparent pricing information. It was also much easier to read and understand than the other bids. Our project was promptly scheduled. We had a desired window of time when we wanted it done and were accommodated. The actual install was about as painless as a major house improvement project can be. The team arrived on site on time, communicated proactively throughout the process, and left the property clean and tidy. The whole project only took 2.5 days. It started on a Monday and on Thursday I went through a comprehensive punch out process with the site manager. The new roof looks beautiful and my family has peace of mind going into the rainy season knowing that our roof is sound, and if we have any issues, Rainier will respond due to their strong craftsmanship and manufacturers warranties. I really couldn't have been happier with the process and outcome and highly recommend Rainier Roofing.

(they also work on composite roofs) Wilson was a consummate professional from the start. He responded very quickly to texts and emails and always apologized when there was any delay in getting back to me. His estimates were professionally designed, easy to understand, and kindly and appreciatively worded. The technician Ed, installed an anchor on the roof for safety, installed a new boot around a leaking fan vent, and also removed an old antenna from my roof. It was very easy to make payments via their automated invoicing system, which I appreciated. I didn't think there was a problem until an attic inspection in August 2026 revealed several significant issues hidden from view, including unsupported and uninsulated ductwork, damaged ducts, and sections joined with duct tape rather than standard duct connections. These issues required additional work and expense to correct. I contacted Astro Roofing immediately to request a repair under their 3-year warranty. After many attempts at communication, Astro Roofing refused to correct the work at their expense or refund the money paid. Instead, they asked me to pay for new materials, stated that they do not install rigid ductwork, and offered a one-time roof cleaning as a goodwill gesture. I am sharing my experience so others are aware that Astro Roofing did not stand behind their workmanship or their 3-year warranty.
