We had another company come out, quickly fly a drone over the roof, then give a lengthy sales pitch on why we should choose them to replace our roof, barely explaining why they thought it necessary. That didn't sound right, so we contacted Alfa for a 2nd opinion. Remik got back to me the next day and came out that same day. He got on the roof for a thorough inspection, texted me photos, and recommended we do nothing except keep an eye on one specific area he identified as possibly having a broken or leaking vent. Remi came by the next day after getting in touch with me and took a look at our roof. He informed us that we don't need to replace our roof as of now. He even pointed out a venting pipe that needed to be capped to prevent moisture from getting in to the house. He gave us a roof maintenance person who does such tasks and can do minor patching if necessary. In 5 years I will definitely look towards him for the actual roof replacement. When he worked on my house we hit a couple of glitches due to my quirky house. He went above and beyond to help me out. I would give 10 stars if I could! We are doing a small remodel in our upstairs bathroom and happen to have an open wall. We had a rain shower last night and discovered that our roof was leaking into the attic. I sent a ton of email requests for repair work at 10:30pm and Remi called me back first thing this morning. A few other companies called back but were weeks to months booked out, Remi offered to come by and take a look same day. True to his word he came by this afternoon, masked up and looked it over. It is a small leak and he so very generously did a patch job that will stop the leaking for now, walked us through why the issue occured, he informed us that the leak issues will most likely recur because of the way our roof was incorrectly done but also told us what to keep an eye on when the rain starts again, and how to fix any other similar leaks if they should occur. He was here for 30ish minutes, was super informative, not pushy and even patched our leak without charging us! He was great and really relieved a ton of our stress. Needless to say we are super impressed and will be calling back when we are ready to move forward with the reroof. Nice to know there are still businesses run by decent people! Honest, professional, and my first choice! During the busy Christmas season, Remik responded to my request for an estimate right away--he is great with e-mail! When he came over to take a look at my leaky roof, he discovered it was a problem with my chimney. Instead of calling it a day, he took the time to get up on my roof and wrap the entire chimney with professional plastic wrap. This was to test the chimney and possibly rule out a leak in my roof--turns out it was my chimney. For all this, Remik provided his services and would not accept payment! Weeks later, after a few heavy rains, Remik made sure to get back in touch with me to make sure all was resolved. At that time, he made sure to leave me with a recommendation for a chimney professional. On a more recent occasion, Remik displayed the same amount of excellent service when he came to inspect the roof of my carport. Thanksgiving morning 2016. There is water running down my chimney between the flashing and bricks. Holy cow. Thanksgiving. I call Remik, cause he did my roof. I love this guy. Comes out in his truck on TG morning, covers my chimney with plastic wrapping to stop the leaking, tells me it's the chimney leaking not the roof. Says to get a mason. No charge. Cause nobody does customer service like Remik. And I'm a customer for life because of it. I hired a mason and yes, the failing mortar was the exactly the cause. No more leaks now. Remik is the best. I have used Remik at Alfa Roofing for a couple of jobs and this positive review is long overdue. He is very clear in his deliverables and my expectations of the work were exceeded. Most recently, he came to perform some routine maintenance which should have only taken 1- 2 hours. He made some observations of some underlying issues where some rotted wood needed replacement. Remik and his crew patiently extracted the wood and replaced everything to good working order. All in all, the job ended up taking 6 hours and Remik kept me updated with phone calls and pictures throughout the entire process. 4 stars, almost 5. Let's face it though, I'm one of those people that rarely gives out a 5, so a 4 for me and Alfa Roofing is pretty darn good. I left a request for an estimate on Alfa's website for a roof repair on a Sunday evening, and said that I could be contacted ANYTIME. Remik called me 20 minutes later to let me know he could swing by the very next day, which he did. In speaking with Remik and meeting him, I felt like he was the type of guy you could trust to conduct business on a hand shake. Yet he still provided me with a timely quote complete with a copy of his business license, and proof of being bonded and insured. The work the my roof needed was pretty small potatoes, yet the turn around time was fast, and Remik was professional and courteous. He even took photos of every step of the repair and emailed them to me the same day that the work was completed. I truly appreciated it, because it saved me from getting on my roof one more time. Overall, a very good experience. I had Remik quote me a complete roof replacement while he was doing the repair, and the chances are very good that he'll get the job. read more

Remik and Alfa Roofing were great, and I'd recommend him to my closest friend. I left a message on Saturday, expecting to hear back the following week. He called me back in 30 minutes. In fact, he was out that same day to look at the roof and estimate it. When his crew arrived to do the work, they worked like machines until they were done. In one day he ripped off the old roof, replaced flashing and some rotted plywood, and added a whole new roof. Everything was cleaned up like they were never there. A day later, he emailed me photos he had taken, showing the damage that was repaired (before and after). It gave me piece of mind that what is hiding under those new shingles is high quality work. When you meet Remik, you'll find him to be the kind of guy you can trust, down to earth and willing to give you all the details as if he were working with a friend. I like that. Prompt quote. Middle range estimate. Choices of roofing limited but in the end I got what I wanted for the price and time expected. My small house job done over two days. He fit me in between larger jobs and communicated well re: start and end time. Quality for cost excellent and they paid attention to ventilation and did not cut corners. The house even feels better now. Chimney leveled as it had been sealed before and no evidence it was ever there. Their answers were clear and concise and did a lot to calm my apprehension about spending $20,000.00 on my roofing job. Alfa Roofing provided me with a very comprehensive estimate, detailing exactly what they will do, using what materials. They also send me brochures from the manufactures of the materials.
