I needed a plumber to do a drain fix. They looked at their schedule and couldn't come out until next week. Fine. They chose the time and date and I agreed. Between 9 and 12 on that next Wednesday. So I wait the week and on the day they're to come fix it, I get a call at 8:30am telling me the plumbers are busy on other jobs. WHAT?! Okay... they ask if they can come out instead between 4 and 6. They also ask if this drain is upstairs (just now thought to ask me?) and when I say yes, she says they may have to access this drain through the ceiling below, and today they'll just come see what needs to be done and come back another day. HUH?! Okay, whatever, sure. When nobody arrives by 6:30pm, I check and see I have a TEXT saying gosh they got held up at another job and could they come the following day, I'm sorry, Allen's, my time matters, too. I wasted my time waiting for nothing, and I will now find someone else to do the work that you apparently can't fit into your schedule. Common courtesy would have been swell: a sincerely apologetic phone call before 6pm tonight and I may have overlooked the cumulative mistakes. But... to find a measly TEXT when you can't make the second appointment YOU chose the time and day to set with me? Come on, folks, that's lousy customer service. Goodbye, Felicia! read more
