    Our LG washer that we bought new from Hallocks that has an uneven, squeaky drum that slams against the sides while washing.

    Still waiting on Hallocks to send us a new machine to rectify this issue. The brand new machine we purchased from them should not have to be repaired and we should not have to be stuck with it. Terrible customer service. The woman who answers your service calls, Dottie, is rude, short on the phone, and does not listen to your concerns. The company gives you the run around when you have a problem with your machine and expects you to keep track of the service contractors when they don't show up to their calls. We purchased a brand new LG washing machine that makes loud metal on metal noises throughout the entire cycle, the drum is off center and bangs so loud it vibrates the first floor rooms of the house each time a cycle switches, and Hallocks refuses to rectify the situation of giving us a faulty machine by replacing it with a properly functioning new machine and instead keeps sending people out claiming the machine isn't level when we've put a level on it and it's clearly leveled, they've sent their people out once already and said it's leveled and now damage is already being done to the machine from having the drum bang around all over the inside. The machine is now over 10 days old and has been nothing but a mess since the first night with an off centered drum and they still won't replace it with a properly functioning one. The company doesnt stand behind its products, doesn't care about its customers, and causes intense frustration. Don't buy from them. Buy locally, get better service, pay a little more, and have piece of mind.

    WONDERFUL Customer SERVICE !!! got a scratch and dent couldn't even see the scratch in the back and prices are wonderful!!!

    Art's Television & Appliance: A Masterclass in Incompetence and Disregard…read moreLet me preface this by saying, if you enjoy being strung along for weeks, paying for their mistakes, and having your concerns dismissed with a casual "yeah, yeah," then Art's Television & Appliance at 92 State Street, North Haven, is the place for you. My ordeal began on February 13, 2025. My air conditioning/heat unit knob broke. The manager, to his credit, spent 45 minutes trying to find a replacement part online. When that failed, we discussed a Friedrich PTAC unit. He wasn't sure of the fit, so he scheduled an appointment for his installers to check my condo on February 22nd. Then, Bill Bower, the salesman, decided he knew better. He canceled the appointment, claiming the PTAC would fit because they'd sold others in my complex. I paid $1,170 for the unit, which was installed on March 1st. The installers then informed me I needed a duct adapter for the adjacent bedroom. They claimed they ordered it, but Bill was clueless. Another trip to the store, another $478, and a $300 installation fee for their error. I emphasized the urgency; a newborn lives in that room. Bill promised "rush shipment, a week." March 8th: No part. "Another week," they said, rushing me off the phone. March 15th: Same story. "Yeah, yeah," Bill said, dismissing my concerns about the baby. April 1st: A different rep said it shipped via truck, not tractor trailer, adding another week or two. Bill then called, reminding me of the $300 installation fee. It's April 3rd, 2025. SEVEN WEEKS. I started this process in winter, and I'm still without the part. They haven't offered to waive the installation fee, despite their blatant incompetence. They don't care that a newborn is living in a cold room. They don't care about customer service. They don't care that they cancelled the 2/22/25 appointment that would have prevented this whole mess. To recap: they canceled my appointment, forcing me to pay for an additional installation fee, they have lied about shipping times, they have dismissed my concerns about a newborn child, and they have shown zero remorse. I'm a resident in the complex and I will be sure to inform the board meetings about this horrendous customer service. Avoid Art's Television & Appliance at all costs. This review is to be continued, as I fully expect this to drag on even longer.

He was so through and knowledgeable with Every appliance and made it easy for us to choose what we needed. Took every phone call we had and didn't hesitate to assist when we had questions. If you are looking for a great place to buy appliances Art's Appliance is the one.
