Was looking for brunch in Los Feliz with a bit of a nice patio setting and found this place. Parking is a bit difficult, but we found street parking half a block away. We waited in line for about 10 minutes. A worker passed out menus and also offered free lemonade for us - very friendly and considerate given the hot LA afternoon sun! We sat in the outdoor seating that looks like a backyard. It was very nice sitting in the shade there and enjoying the beautiful day. I ordered their Wagyu Burger while my wife had the Farmer's Hash. The burger was cooked well, with the meat being juicy and tender. It had a lot of flavor and was a decent portion; I was very satisfied with the meal. Stumbled into this restaurant in Los Feliz and it couldn't have been a better find. While waiting for our table we lounged in the wine garden for a bit. They had such an extensive selection! The ambiance was so homey and felt like I was in someone's upscale backyard. We started with the good ass salad and damn it was a good ass salad. Whatever is in the dressing is such an addicting citrus punch that I need bottled and in my fridge immediately. For mains we split the branzino and the sweet potatoes. And oh my god i've never had branzino this good!! Serving it on top of the sushi crispy rice was next level. The fish was so decadent and falling off the bone. The pepper sauce on the japanese sweet potatoes was the most memorable part of the dish. I also need this sauce bottled and in my fridge. Been hearing about this place and finally had a chance to check it out. Walked in at 6:15p, party of 4, no reservation on a Tuesday. We were asked twice, are you all here? Yes, right in front of you. We were seated right away in a private fenced in table next to the hosts' stand. Again, we were fine, it allowed us to talk and have our little time out table away from the main dining room. On to on the food & drinks. What we had: Gnocchi - So delicious! Halibut - Excellent! Cabbage - yes definitely get this. Mushrooms (sides) - also really delicious Steak - our friend had this and said it was good We family-styled so we could try everything and loved it. Really loved the food. In terms of drinks, they only have wines mostly. If you are a non-alcoholic drinker, they offer NA beer which was nice. I would suggest they carry non-alcoholic rosé (Spring in a bottle from Whole Foods is a lovely alternative) because they currently don't have a NA wine option. Their wines were fine according to my friends but nothing to write home about. I loved that our waiter called the white wine a "Sancerre", clearly not knowing that Sancerre is a region, not a varietal. Service was spotty. Server would disappear for long periods between taking drinks order, drinks delivery and food order. But once food was ordered it got there right away. Overall food really was delicious and worth a visit. This place is bougie and a bit pretentious but sometimes that's what makes LA, LA. read more

Absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant. I live in NY and am used to good service and I never write bad reviews unless there is something seriously wrong. So first off, they don't put the "market menu" online for a reason. They charge $42 for a bowl of pasta and $40+ for a cabbage and bean dish. For those prices, I expect a high level of service. But no they had appalling customer service -- I went with my disabled grandmother and we were made to wait 30 minutes when they had a fully open section in the back - which fine, whatever, waiting happens but the service whilst we waited was almost none existent. We then had the moodiest server but despite that, we ordered tons of food. Their tiny shitty IKEA outdoor tables couldn't accommodate that much food for 4 people, so we moved over an empty nearby table to make ours bigger (again, we had our disabled grandma with us who needed more room than 1ft of space). We would never do that typically but it was 9:30pm on a Monday and we were in a section with 10 open tables as it was closed off. The manager immediately came over and said I'm sorry you can't move tables around because we "need to protect the space" which was so laughable because the space isn't beautiful, it looks like a literal shack with cheap furniture. I felt like I was in a bad episode of "I Love LA" and we were making a joke about the pretentious LA service industry. If we had one more person at our table we could've moved the table though - so tell me how that makes any sense. They don't know what customer service looks like if it slapped them in the face-- this is coming from a former server. We immediately left and will never return. Skip skip skip this place and put your hard earned money elsewhere. Zero stars. read more

Came here on a date on a warm summer evening and expected to be blown away by great food, ambiance and service, but really neither over or underwhelmed... just a feeling of "whelmed" in general... to be blunt a very "meh" experience. I probably would have had a more positive experience if I had been seated at a table with more light or air, as it was hot, but instead was directed to a dark stuffy corner of the restaurant with no air (or fan) in sight. I will say the food was reasonably good, I had a fresh summery melon salad to start, for my entree a really well cooked and seasoned halibut, and my partner was very satisfied with his gnocchi. Service was very neutral... neither good nor bad, but could have been more personable for a better experience. My first time here in the afternoon on a Saturday, so I expected it would be busy, but I'm just not someone who likes to wait in line on the sidewalk and in the hot sun for a meal. Once inside, the atmosphere is quaint, but the restaurant is noisy. The food was delicious. We had a perfect burger with potatoes on the side and a breakfast sandwich, but the iced coffee was SOOO small, and they don't give at least one refill. So I had to order another one. Literally it must've been about 6 ounces no more! I felt a rushed towards the end, because of people waiting in the line outside that need the table. So for me I would choose another place to go but perhaps another when it's less busy it would be better. Service was just fair but friendly. Tonight my friend and I wanted to catch up over a warm drink and some dessert and I suggested All Time so we made our way there. We both ordered teas and wanted to share the pistachio bon bons. Our server Abby started off normal but her customer service rapidly deteriorated. I'm not sure if it's because we didn't order a full course meal or what her deal was but when she brought out the dessert she didn't even give us utensils, napkins or a plate. We weren't there for very long but it bothered me that she didn't bother asking us if everything was ok nor asked if we liked what we had ordered and just dropped off the check before we could ask for it. It's pretty standard to check in with how someone's order is before leaving the check -- just in case they want to add something else before paying or what have you but nope. Once she noticed I put card down she brought out the card reader and she STILL didn't bother asking how was everything, say thank you or tell us to enjoy our evening. Honestly, VERY disappointing experience and one of the worst waitresses I've had in a WHILE. I don't expect the royal treatment or for a server to bend over backwards for me but I also expect to be shown common courtesy when I'm giving a restaurant my business. Was about to pay and noticed a sign that said they automatically add 16% tip on all to go orders with a sad message that it goes to the kitchen etc. Come on guys, what are we really doing? And then on the bottom it says if we don't want it, we can ask for it to be removed. This left a really bad taste in my mouth because why even post that the tips go entirely to the staff etc?? If you're planning a birthday dinner, I strongly recommend choosing another restaurant. This is not the place for a special celebration. When making our reservation, we noted that members of our party have allergies to shellfish and mushrooms. However, once seated, we were told that no substitutions or modifications could be made... even though the menu suggests otherwise. For example: the half chicken dish contained mushrooms and no alternative/adjustment was offered. Additionally, another guest asked whether the fingerling potatoes from the fish dish could be added to the steak entree. The waitress responded, "Not to sound ignorant, but it's just fish, right?" The guest then clarified that she has a shellfish and fish allergy, at which point the waitress recognized the seriousness of the concern. One member of our party also ordered a steak medium-well but it arrived on the rarer side. While the mistake was acknowledged, re-cooking the steak took about 20 additional minutes...which delayed the meal. At one point, we waited some time for a Coke, and another waitress eventually checked in to see if we needed anything further. At the beginning of the evening, the hostess mentioned to our waitress that we were celebrating a birthday. Toward the end of the meal, the waitress said she had "just found out" and offered to comp the wine due to the steak issue, explaining that no dessert had been ordered. While we appreciated the gesture, it didn't fully make up for the overall experience. A birthday is a special occasion that can't be redone. My best friend (who had previously enjoyed brunch here and was really looking forward to her birthday dinner) left feeling disappointed.
