Blueberry oatmeal pancakes
Allan D.

Breakfast by Salt's Cure has made its way to the east side! Very straight forward and a solid pancake. The pancake itself borders between thin and normal thickness. It's topped with oatmeal that borders a crunchy granola bar like topping and texture. There is no syrup so the blueberries and sweet butter mixture carry that heavy lifting. It's not the sweetest pancake, but is interesting in execution. Also shout out to the all you can drink coffee refills. Such a welcomed surprise. Parking is street parking, meter parking, and neighborhood parking. Just be attentive to street signs. The inside is pretty casual. There are two sections for indoor dining and some outdoor seats.

Such a cute gem in silver lake! Was craving pancakes and this definitely exceeded my expectations Parking: free parking lot in the back! So unheard of in this area Ambience: chill and small but lots of natural light, everyone seemed to have a good time Service: workers were very nice :) Food: the oat pancakes were absolutely. incredible. No need for syrup, it was perfect. Definitely want to come back for the chocolate ones. Everything else didn't stand out as much and lacked flavor Price: very affordable! Loved it here, I'm not even a pancake person, but these oat pancakes were insanely delicious. Cleaned the plate! haha I'll be back :)

No frills, just good pancakes. My friend and I walked in on a Saturday morning around 8:30 to this cute, unassuming little spot. I went with the blueberry and my friend got the chocolate pancakes. We also grabbed some ice coffee. The pancakes arrived shortly after we grabbed our seat and they tasted great. Thin, hearty and super flavorful, no syrup needed. Prices are fair and definitely worth the visit.

Order and pay at the counter, grab your own seat, and the team will bring your order out to you. Great service, food was yummy, and there parking in the back as well. Would definitely be returning.

Brand new location of Breakfast by Salt's Cure. They moved their WeHo spot to Silver Lake instead. The service is friendly, there is lots of seating both inside and outside (on sidewalk), and the food is great! This will be my new neighborhood go-to for breakfast. Reasonable prices, order-at-the-counter, and a clean space. My partner and I got the little omelette with roasted broccoli and the gluten-free OG griddle cakes. She had an iced coffee with oat milk, and I had a fresh orange juice. It was all ready quickly and delicious without breaking the bank. There is parking in the neighborhood behind or street meters on Fountain. Highly recommend!

OG pancakes, chicken sausage, ice coffee

Decided to stop by on my way to work for a quick solo brunch. They have a small lot in the back. Order at the counter and then find a seat. The lady at the front was so friendly and helpful. She even offered me a complimentary iced coffee for being a healthcare worker. The coffee was smooth and strong and kept me fueled for my shift. The food arrived pretty fast. The OG pancakes are very thin with crispy edges. The middle is quite soft and falls apart easily with the cinnamon butter. Doesn't come with syrup and you don't need it. The chicken sausage was amazing. You could tell it's homemade and filled with flavorful spices. A nice little neighborhood spot for a no frills breakfast.

So so yummy!!! I need to come back and try their other pancakes and dishes. The menu is pretty limited, but the quality is amazing. The staff was nice also, I like that you pay for your food and then choose where to sit. Nice quiet and chill atmosphere! Just dont expect any fancy coffee here. The food is the star of the show

Awesome! I got a chicken sausage sandwich and the OG griddle cakes. There's a reason this place stays packed (aside from the excellent service)- they know what they're doing and do it efficiently. Everything was super on point and flavorful. I'll be back!!

I usually get their Iced Butterscotch Cream Latte with oat milk. I love that they don't due an upcharge for alt milks. For the dairy-cautious folks out there, this drink is not dairy-free even with alt milk because of the butterscotch cream. I usually go with oat milk because I don't like my drink overly creamy so the cream top plus oat milk is a good balance for me personally. Since I came here with my friends recently, I also tried the Yuzu Sparkling Matcha. To my surprise, you really get that authentic yuzu flavor, not artificial whatsoever. The drinks here are also not too sweet, just the right balance you want, but the flavors make you feel like you're having a little dessert in a cup. The shop itself is very cozy and comfortable. Especially on a hot LA day, it's so nice to be in a cool space sipping on iced drinks. The are a good amount of seats but it does get busy at certain times of day. The staff here are also all super friendly as well. Highly recommend this place to anyone around the area!

I will say it is quite sweet, even at less sweet, and I would stick to the double matcha since I found the regular iced matcha latte (less sweet) to be a little disappointing. The workers are sweet and helpful - the first time I visited, I came just a few minutes before closing, but the worker took her time to explain things to me rather than rushing me. That has left a lasting positive impression on me. The interior is cozy and oftentimes there are people working inside, but I haven't given it a try myself. I can say that it's a nice place to hang around as you're finishing your drink. If you're thinking about giving Dumbstruck a try, I highly recommend it!

Each time I come here, the coffee is exquisitely delicious. I take my coffee to-go so can't review the decor or the other menu items but assuming their black coffee is one of the best cups I've had in LA, I'd say their other drink options are probably top notch. Also, there is also a stylish yet chill crowd chilling both inside and outside the shop partaking in their drinks while chatting or enjoying the weather.

There is outdoor seating and a couple tables indoors too. The storefront itself is pretty small though. I ordered the Yuzu Matcha tonic with less sweetness and it was really good! It's a super refreshing drink, with the green tea and citrus elements coming out on top of the sparkling sweetness. Honestly, one of the best matcha drinks I've had overall! The yuzu bits are incorporated in the drink, adding a light sweet and bitter taste. Service was super friendly and accommodating. Reasonable prices and this café stands out because of its free parking for sure. There are lots of cute shops lining the street that Picnic Coffee is located on, so check those out too! Overall, definitely a recommended place.

It's oh so good and decadent The Cortadito is bold, smooth, and just sweet enough like those you find in Little Havana. Both the dessert and coffee came to about $8.50 which isn't a bad deal at all for their sizes My only minor complaint is the service. There was one customer ahead of me who ordered a lot of pastries. One cashier was getting those items and the cook asked if I wanted "food" or just sweets. When I said just the sweets he said I had to wait. I don't see why he couldn't have just grabbed my items? It was about a 10-15 minute wait with all that going on. Then I asked for a cafe Cubano and sorry but I had no clue what the cashier said and only understood "cortadito" so that's what I was given. When she asked if I wanted for here or to go, I asked for here and she packed my items to go. I'm not sure if it's a language barrier or listening issue so I'm glad it was a major thing to inconvenience my experience
