Great location on Shaw Ave off of Sylmar in Clovis, very visible. Was easy to make an appointment in the morning for a same day afternoon smog check. The inspector was very professional and my wait time was about 20 minutes. Chairs are outside if you choose to wait there or you can sit inside where there is a comfortable waiting area. I messaged the manager to get an estimate then came and brought my car in. He was super fast and had great customer service. I was only there for about 20-25 minutes even with another car ahead of me. After my car was done there were about 4 other cars but he took his time with me and we had a nice conversation while getting my paperwork done and ringing me up. went and got car checked. they failed my car which is whatever but when called and asked for more information they proceeded to hang up. my dad was not verbally abusive, which is what he was told he was. then when my dad left a bad review the owner proceeded to leave a false review on my fathers business claiming that we stole $9,000 from him. I WILL NOT tolerate my dad or his business being disrespected. if you like petty customer service then this is the place for you. how about this; the car is new to us but it is used. we did not tamper with the car ourselves. we have never gotten this smogged before because we barely just got this car. at this point it has nothing to do with the car and everything to do with the way that you have lied about my dads business. we have not lied about yours. have a good day and i would stop slandering before it gets you in trouble. read more

I notice this pass weekend the popularity of people waiting for a smog. I looked up the YELP reviews which were decent and plus they had a coupon which they honor. I arrived about 8:45 am without an appointment (not sure if I needed one) greeted right away by the employee, "I will be right with you mam." Once it was my turn I asked if they would accept the YELP coupon which he said yes. Price for my car was $45 in cash or $46.50 with card. I was done in about 30 minutes which was nice. Integrity.. something that this place needs. They failed my car and I still had to paid $40. Funny how some people commented on here that they didn't. I went to my regular mechanic and he says my car should've passed but helped me change the part at no charge. I should've listened and gone elsewhere but instead I went back to get it resmogged and was told it would be $29 With the cert. But it was $40 When it came time to pay. When I complained.. he took $2 off. No.. the agreement was $29. Money isn't the issue. As a woman.. I already don't feel comfortable walking into any car shop. Even if it's just a smog shop. With an attitude he says "fine I'll take $10 off". Very unprofessional. The only reason I went here was because the location was convenient. We have been taking all 4 of our cars here for the last few years with no issues. Today my mom took her truck here and there is a new lady working here that I have not seen before that is very rude. My mom is older and was taking a few extra seconds to get in her truck and that lady was like move move, moving her hands. I told her we are leaving hold on and she was like I dont care, move! I gave them the coupon that I had planned it out, I paid $45 to get my truck smog, and I did my vehicle registration there as well. Easy in and out. Smog with certificate is the lowest price in the area with their coupon. Their waiting room is small but comfortable. Stocked with low cost/free drinks/snacks in case of being snacky. My car battery died and they helped me jumpstart my car too! Super nice guy. read more

after reading the reviews and seeing how you like to blame the customers when they leave a bad review im advising everyone who reads this to avoid this place especially since they attempted to steal additional 28 dollars from my son yesterday and then tried to blame me saying i lost my cool this place is full of thiefs and scammers first off there are no prices listed outside and now i know why try charging 70 for a smog if that was posted outside i would of kept going then failed my car with NO check engine light on see my sons review he posted a pic of my dash there is NO check engine light then said i lost my cool no i said 70 for a failed smog i dont think so especially since i dont have a check engine light on then i got a call and walk away and told my son to get the paper if you think that is losing my cool then your dumb then after my son left a bad review after what happen to us they attempted to steal the additional 28 dollars from my sons card then wanted to say he only leaves bad reviews you act like he post daily bad reviews your the ones you lied about my car and stole 28 dollars from my son and yes we called the cops and got his money back but this 28 dollars is and will cost you more i have filed a complaint with the city of clovis and the bbb and the bar hopefully someone investigates this place cause i doubt we were the only ones they took extra money from or failed someone car without there check engine light on and the guy should be thankfully the cops were there after he got into my sons face yelling about his bad review he posted you talk about someones whos unprofessional and losing there cool like i said avoid this place save you a headache there will steal your money if they dont like your review your the thiefs and crooks here go somewhere else read more

Only place that's really open on the weekends in Clovis, fair price, and good customer service

These clowns don't know what customer service is about. While my car was being smogged technician ran around from customer to customer taking way too much time to smog my car. Any interaction with them they acted rude and had an attitude that the customer is a nuisance. I was surprised to see a $1.50 charge for using my Visa card. I definitely do not recommend this place to smog your vehicle. Next time I will choose another place. read more

Don't go here. This guy opened my gas cap and left my car running causing the check engine light to turn on so I failed the $45 smog. He told me "go get it fixed" so I did. Came back with a new gas cap, and he once again charged me $45 to retest. What kind of ripoff is that??? I told him why he was charging so much and he offered a $10 discount if I left a good yelp review. I declined the discount and am writing the truth!! Everything was fast, nobody else was there so right as I got out of my car he literally shoved the paper in my face to sign, didn't talk to me about the pricing or procedure or ask how I was doing (basic customer service question everyone should ask at least) so the smog went well, I came out told him I had he coupon which he told me they had a strict rule that it must be shown before I sign (which I did read) and I told him I just thought I would give it a try and I told him "when people come maybe give them some time to get their stuff out because you kinda just shoved the paper in my face" and he showed me the papers that people printed out saying "well these people gave them to me right away." with attitude and gave me 10 dollars off, which was fine. But time wasn't the issue for this visit which is why I'll give 3 stars. I think overall i just had a problem with the customer service I got. read more
