This place was so fast and professional. It's right around the corner from the Home Depot and Costco on Blackstone. The gentleman was so polite and welcoming and explained the entire process to get a smog check for my vehicle. The waiting area is inside the garage, but it's extremely clean and presentable. No appointment, just brought my SUV in at 10am on a Wednesday for a smog check. There were two parties ahead of me waiting for their vehicles but the guy helped me right away, taking my information and keys. I didn't have my DMV paperwork but he was able to process my smog check without it (I wasn't required to use a STAR certified location), and he automatically applied the $20 coupon without even asking me. This is an auto shop. They do have a waiting room for the times it not nice outside. Otherwise, there is a makeshift waiting area with chairs placed under a huge shade tree. I've come here for a few smog checks. Every time I am back on the road in about 30 minutes. I don't have anything bad to say about these guys. I wouldn't take your car here. After spending nearly 300 dollars at a reputable shop he failed my vehicle just to take my money. Apparently he has no clue what a legal overlay of a wire is. He just wanted my money. Very very sad when people don't have business so they take money from the only customers they have. read more

Nearly all smog only places are the same, what separates them in my opinion is wait times. We just want to get and out as we all have stuff to do, right? I've gone here in the past due to close proximity from home but I have to others as well, it just depends where I am at the moment and if I remember that smog is due for the vehicle I am in. For this visit, probably 10 mins max wait for my Toyota Sequoia since I was the lone customer so I consider myself lucky. Final pricing after said discount: $48. I honestly don't think there was a discount (well probably $2) as others in the area were like $48-$55, but just call around before you get your smog check. read more

I needed to get my smog check stat, and just by the reviews it looked like a place I can go to. To my surprise, there was no line and they were super fast! Very friendly as well. Answered phone quickly, provided a price over the phone, and told to come in immediately. Ran one errand and came back to a PASS with paperwork submitted electronically. Check-in was quick with them just needing name and address. They have a small waiting room with a heater which was nice since it was very cold outside. I get there and he (don't know the name of the man that was working) saw I was driving a mustang, he proceeded to ask if it was factory stock and I said no but the modifications I have on the car are California/ street legal and he said "no stock no service" and told me to get out in a loud tone. I asked him why can't he still check and test, and his response was "because I don't want to take the time to inspect to make sure it's legal." Best believe I am never coming back here because a small thing like checking to make sure the 02 sensor is there takes to much time out of someone's day. read more

Had the best experience here the other day. I went in during my lunch to get a smog check required by the DMV. I was greeted immediately by a technician and he said I came at the right time as there was no wait. I got there at 3:25pm and he was done with my smog at 3:35pm. This review is for their smog check service only. Came here on a Saturday at 2pm with no appointment. Let them know I wanted a smog check done and that I had their coupon. They told me the price and told me it would be about an hour wait because they had multiple cars in front of me. I knew that already because I had called in before coming so I brought my husband so he and I could drive around instead of waiting in their waiting room. Came back fifty minutes later and car was done. No issues, no extra charges...boom I was out in a couple of minutes. Super easy. The guy who assisted me was really nice and professional.
