Their advertisement was spot on 'excellent service' and that's what I received. I was referred to All Star Movers & Storage by my realtor Ken S. and I'm pleased to say this four-man crew was spectacular! It started with a virtual tour of my mom's home with Cheryl D. This virtual tour was done via smart phone and I walked through each room so she could determine the size of their truck, crew size, time to complete the job, storage size and estimate of job. Paco, Alex, Juan and Mario arrived on their scheduled day and were ready to work. They all joined my walk through (a quick recap) of what needed to be done and they got right to work. I had two destinations, #1 storage facility (during commute traffic, 15 minutes south) and #2, my home (45 minutes north, back in commute traffic). So it was critical to load the truck efficiently. It was clear each guy knew their role and they all used their time efficiently, and worked well as a team. Not a slacker in the bunch! They were always polite to me and my cousin Teirey, as well as to each other. No request was too big or too small, and they never made us feel like a request was an imposition. Because I had a few add-ons, one couch and a sectional (which are certainly big pieces), I wasn't sure if the storage space I rented would accommodate these additions. The person at the storage company made me feel a bit nervous and thought the movers would get halfway done loading it and then realize they didn't have enough room. Paco, the lead mover, was so confident, he said, "if it doesn't fit I'll pay for the move." I took Paco's advice and sure enough we had room to spare! That's what happens when you're experienced and confident--and he certainly was! Paco's advice saved me a lot of money by not having to rent a larger storage space! (Thank you Paco!) Paco, Alex, Juan and Mario were impressive and you made All Star Movers & Storage look like the best in the state! If these four men are examples of the hiring practices by All Star Movers & Storage, then kudos to you as well! Everything was packed, wrapped and moved with care! Thank you All Star Movers & Storage, Paco, Alex, Juan, Mario and Cheryl. (A personal note: This was my mom's home for almost 30 years. She passed away February 11, 2024. It took a while to get used to the idea that it was time to remove every photo she hung and every Tchotchke she bought representing her many travels. She was proud of her yard, every plant she grew and every hedge she shaped, including her well manicured lawn. She has two daughters and countless photo albums representing our lives. It wasn't easy watching her possessions wrapped in plastic, packed into cardboard boxes, sealed with tape and then disappear into the back of moving truck. Her possessions now stored in a 10'x20' storage space less than 10 miles away, will be divided, sold or given away in the coming weeks. Her home is now empty, and one day soon another moving company will show up to unload the possessions for a new family.) read more

Not sure how these guys got so many five star ratings. They damaged so many items. They might be OK for a cross-town move, but we used them to move across the country. Our move was a two step move so a lot of the furniture stayed in storage until we found house. I spent a lot of time going through smashed boxes but couldn't check everything until the final move. My best estimate from that first pass was about $1000.00 worth of damage. We had a vacuum cleaner arrive in two pieces held together by a wire. I showed them a miter saw in our back yard shed that needed to be moved. It never came off the truck. Lots of broken plates. Wardrobe boxes smashed in from heavy items on top. Just yesterday I was gluing and clamping some furniture back together. read more

All Star Movers left my house about 20min ago. I'm posting review quick as they did a really great job. I'm moving items to long term storage so this is the pack-up phase. I worked with Cheryl to get info and estimate for move. She was helpful, & was able to provide est with pics I sent. I had to push out my timing about 2wks but she was accommodating and had good follow up. My move was scheduled for a Sunday but she wasnt working the wkend. But she called to confirm and let me know whom was on this wkend in case i had any issues come up, Paco, Ray, & Eric were on the job today. They arrived within 2hr window as planned, worked efficiently and were organized. For reference, I had 9 pieces of wood furniture, 3 of which were quite large (ie China cabinet, wall entertainment unit) and to be disassembled. I had glass covered nightstands and a big mirrored dresser. They wrapped, & labeled everything. I think the "5th star" for me was that it seemed they cared about how they were packing things, they had an order/process to it. The wall unit had more parts to it than i expected once it was disassembled and Paco talked to me about diff options to pack and label the parts so that it would make sense to me when it came time to unpack and reassemble. Moving is not a fun thing but, Yuri, Karn, Scotty, AJ, Shamar, Roger, Nacho, and I know I miss a few more great guys... helped to make our move a very smooth and easy one! These guys are truly all stars! Recently moved homes across the bay and scheduled their services just to move the large items in the house. The team arrived on time, were very professional, and took utmost care of our furniture and other things while moving. They also wrapped items in blankets and plastic wrap before moving. I orginaly got a quote for 9 hours of work but the team got it done in 5 hours. Amazing! Spent less than what I expected. From the initial contact to the final move the Team at All Star Movers was Professional, Personable, and very thorough in every thing they did. From our initial contact with Cheryl, who set up the estimate to the Team of Movers who packed us up and delivered our good to the new house everything was efficient and professional. The Guys who packed us out from the Team Lead Harp and the others Sal, David, and Christian, all did an outstanding job. The came in, got us packed out quickly taking very good care of our possessions as they wrapped. packed and loaded onto the truck. I found the movers via Yelp and they were fantastic. We had a 3 guy crew- Sal, David and Juan. They moved quick, asked questions to make sure all the furniture was delivered to the right room and carefully wrapped everything. The guys were friendly and it made moving suck less. From our initial call to the final box being delivered everything was very smooth. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking to move. We picked All star Movers after reviewed and talked to the other 3 moving companies. There are few reasons: 1. customers service is very responsive. They will follow up and confirm if any changes or needs. 2. they provide details estimation breakdown, no hidden cost. Everything is in written. 3. price is fair and manpower assignment did make sense after comparing other estimates. On our moving day, they showed up on time, packed all furnitures and items very well. The lead John communicated with us ahead how to de-assembled some furnitures for removing from house in order to prevent any damages during the delivery. He also fixed our sofa legs when he found out 2 legs were broken (before he moved it out). Put everything to the position in our new place. Overall, the team did good job.
