George and Char are great. Char quickly responded to my request to have our fireplace fixed, and George showed up on time, was friendly and knowledgable, and got our fireplace up and running! I asked him for some quotes on some other things we are planning to do around the house, such as a backyard grill and fire pit, and I will definitely be calling him again to have those installed. Thanks George and Char! read more

I had a home inspection done and called George to see if I could get answers to some questions about my fireplace. He was AWESOME!!! He told me what I needed to fix the problem and told me where I could get the parts. So nice and helpful! About 5 minutes after hanging up, I got a text from him. He had gathered items and taken a picture to show me what I needed! Now that is going above and beyond! Thank you so much George!!! read more

I searched online for someone to come out and take a look at our built-in gas fire pit after discovering that underneath the grate and the lava rock, the burner had totally deteriorated and collapsed. George and his assistant Chuck came out today, just a few days after we called them to set up an appt., and did a great job - they removed the old burner, replaced it with a new one that will provide a more enjoyable (and safer) experience than the old one, and explained to us what to do about filling in with lava rock. They were prompt, very friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and I'd recommend them highly - thank you! read more

I'm so glad to have found George. We've had a grill that needed to be hooked up but didn't know whether it was a liquid propane or a natural gas one. Our grill wasn't a common household brand and other stores/service companies would not help install BC we didn't purchase from them. One look and George knew what kind of grill it was and how to install. I will definitely be recommending him to any one who needs help with their grills. George also mentioned he can install fireplaces/fire pits and we have a few in the house needing to be installed and George will be the first one I contact. read more

We highly recommend George's service. He was able to fix our fire table after not being able to use it for 2 years. We've gotten a lot of use out of it this holiday season, really happy customers:) read more

Like all the reviews, George and Char are just awesome. Professional, responsive, do great work and very efficient. I will ask them to do any work involving 'fire' in the future. Suggest you contact them FIRST for any work relating to fire. They quickly replaced burners in outdoor firepit and fireplace with quality and i believe at a very reasonable price. And George and Char are just great people!! Pleasant, funny, sharp, and very informative. Its just great and refreshing to have folks like George and Char help to get things righted. Wish they could fix all my other household mechanical problems :+) read more

George installed our new Bull BBQ. This entailed removal of our old Turbo grill, retrofitting our cinderblock outdoor island to fit the new grill, and creating two air vents to meet the new BBQ code. His price was very reasonable, especially in light of the amount of time it took him to do this. He had me text him pictures of the job so he would have a better idea of what the job would entail, and he did not change his estimate once he got to my house. He was really very nice and is an experienced griller himself. He showed us how to operate the new grill and gave us some great tips and taking care of our new grill. My star rating is really more like a 4.7, only because of some minor issues regarding the metal on the vents looking slightly bent and that I would have liked to discuss the option of putting an electrical outlet inside the island. I would highly recommend All About Fire to anyone considering any of the services he provides. I will definitely hire him again when the time comes to put in fireplace logs and a firepit. read more

All About Fire - BBQ retrofit. Replaced Turbo Grill with Bull Angus BBQ - Fireplace Services Near Me

I had All About Fire out today to inspect our fireplace and grill, recommend options and will have them back out to install in a couple of weeks. The entire experience has been FANTASTIC. Friendly phone response, fast arrival, informative, excellent explanations of my options, and all with a kind and warm experience. I really appreciate finding this quality of a company to assist us with these projects. Thank you!! We are loyal customers read more

Fantastic! Our BBQ looks better than when it was originally installed! The framing has been replaced, upgraded, polished clean! The response time was exactly what was promised and THEN they went above and beyond for us since they knew we hoped to use it on July 4th. Now - we can grill what we have purposely wanted to cook and not be constantly putting out the flames from inside the frame! Thank you! read more

Spoke with the owner, George, and his response to my inquiry was extremely fast. George was also very honest with me and even told me how I can do the job myself to save me money. Gave me the list of tools I would need, and if I still had trouble doing it myself, he'd come out for a fair price. Other places I inquired through required a 150 dollar fee to come out. I would recommend anyone looking to get serviced for their fireplace to George. read more

They took a month to get to my house after a no show. Asked them to look at BBQ grill and fire pit. Said grill needs to be replaced and forgot to look at the fire pit. Should have called someone else. read more

George is great! He helped guide me on how to light the pilot on my gas fireplace over the phone through my photos. Who would do that? Only the best and most helpful and honest people. I would call him back in a heartbeat to service my fireplace. BTW an Amerigas technician had no idea on how to light the pilot when I received my propane. Kudos to George and All About Fire! read more

George Brown delivered our island grill today. We are very satisfied with the quality of the delivery and installation. George took the time to thoroughly explain how to operate and clean the grill. Absolutely an AMAZING company. George went above and beyond to accommodate my situation. He was very reliable, honest and trustworthy. His partner Char is the same. You do not find a lot of people like them these days. I can't say enough about this company. If you need any thing that has to do with a barbecue I would definitely give them a call. read more

George is a rockstar! I have an older BBQ Galore unit that is long discontinued. George and Manual (sorry if I got it wrong) came exactly on time. I only had a 5 hour window as my home is a vacation rental. They completely removed the BBQ, cleaned ever inch of the BBQ, tighten, polished and fixed everything possible. The BBQ works great, looks great and they spent almost 5 hours on it, He even built a new bottom to the rusted out drip pan. His truck is full of his "tricks of the trade". What a real professional, real gentleman and I would definitely recommend George to clean your BBQ before you determine that you need a new one. He is so honest, he will tell you not to waste your money - or if it's worth it. Thank you George for my clean BBQ & piece of mind! Before I do anything with the BBQ in the future, I am calling you! read more

Very professional and timely service. Took care of 3 fireplaces and outdoor grill. For gas fireplaces and appliances can't go wrong with these guys. read more

George called back and since he was in the area he came out on a Saturday. From messaging to having our gas fireplace fixed it was only 24 hours! George is fantastic! I needed to convert a BBQ grill from natural gas to propane. He contacted me right away and walked me thru the process. He gave me honest opinions about the pros and cons of converting my grill and gave me a detailed cost breakdown. He came to my house, fixed up my grill, and came in under budget. I could not ask for better service. I'll use him again for sure if I ever need any additional work done on a grill. read more

George is the man! He fixed my fireplace in no time. I had another company out a couple of weeks prior and that clown told me to buy a whole new kit so he could install it right. My kit was brand new already but he didn't want to bother with it. George came in, looked at it and fixed it. Period. He's neat and very professional. I just can't say enough good about this place THANKS AGAIN GEORGE! My kitty cat and I are so happy and warm! read more

Excellent Service! We had a gas fireplace that wasn't working anymore. We sent a message to All About Fire on their website and quickly received a call from George. He was able to come up that same day to take a look. He spent a lot of time troubleshooting the fireplace, testing each of the components to try to see if the cheaper pieces were the cause, which we really appreciate. Once he diagnosed the issue he was able to get the parts ordered and made it back up to fix the fireplace in less than a week. Every step of the process was clearly explained and our fireplace is now as good as new. read more

Even though George was unable to inspect/repair our gas fireplace last week, he was super helpful in providing practical and on-time advice over the phone (i.e. how to locate model/part #) before contacting a FP specialist. This is actually rare in the contracting world. In turn, we want to say Thank You, George. read more

This guy sucks. Initial response was great, but absolutely no follow up. Got the job done by another company within 3 days.

I wish I could give them more than 5 starts as well! George at All About Fire is awesome! I had a new BBQ and side burner setup for a new outdoor kitchen. The general contractors and plumber I hired were unable to figure out how to properly set up everything. To make matters worse, I was planning on having it up and running for Labor Day weekend, but the other contractors waited until the end of the day Saturday to let me know they couldn't figure it out. George to the rescue!!! I contacted him late on Saturday and he immediately replied. We set up an appointment for Sunday at 10am (most people don't want to work on Sundays, and I don't blame them, but George was an enthusiastic "yes"). George was right on-time and quickly diagnosed what was needed. He has an extensive supply of necessary parts and a wide array of tools so he didn't need to leave to Home Depot for parts etc. He walked me thru everything he needed to do (not a simple install/setup for various reasons), and then got to work. He cleaned up when he was done and walked me thru a demonstration to confirm everything was operating. He even took the extra time to give me some BBQ maintenance and safety tips! Hats off to George...I highly recommend him!!! read more

George and Char are fantastic! They replaced the fire rings and associated plumbing in our fire pit; they were on-time, professional, very friendly and know their craft. They provide exceptional customer service and great value. read more

My husband noticed soot on the logs, sides and back of our gas fireplace so used Google to locate a company to perform maintenance for us. Another company recommended we give George of 'All About Fire' a call. George came to our home to assess the fireplace within 2 hours of contacting him. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and honest with us about what our fireplace needed. He removed the soot, repositioned the cattywampus gas grate, removed the excess gas embers and replaced the logs so that the beautiful fireback is visible. The flame is now beautiful and more effective than prior to the service. I'd highly recommend 'All About Fire' for your fireplace needs. George exceeded our expectations! read more

What a great find! I came across George after being informed by the gas co that our low burning bbq was fitted for propane, not the natural gas it was actually connected to. I called George who came out the same day. Super convenient since I was already off for the gas co visit. After going above and beyond fixing my bbq (he fixed the side burner too), I happened to ask him about the gas log in my fireplace. Turns out it was not fitted properly and the hose was corroded. Now missing dinner with his family I'm sure, George stayed to get the job done. He was knowledgeable, fair and transparent. He was also super friendly and kind. When it was all said and done, he walked me through everything he had done and explained it all. He took before and after photos and gave me a detailed and honest invoice (including photos and description of what he did). We are so happy with his honest work and would recommend All About Fire to anyone. read more

George is THE BEST! He came out to repair my bbq as well as help with a fire pit that wasn't working right. Not only did he get to the root of my problems (on both) but he took videos and sent them to show how they weren't working properly - very thorough! He is honest and does fantastic work! Would highly recommend this company... over and over again! read more

George and Char have just finished the cleaning of my built in Bull Bar-B-Que. All I can say is WOW! It looks like it's almost new. We use it a lot and generally I clean it every spring and it's a dirty, awful job...this year George and Char from All About Fire came to solve this dirty mess. They even set up a small tent with tarps, so that as they cleaned the mess wouldn't blow around my yard. Friendly and professional and a job well done! If you have a built in bar-b-que on your patio and want to start your spring and summer season grilling season with a beautiful and clean grill, I would highly recommend calling All About Fire! read more

All About Fire is AWESOME!! As soon as I submitted my inquiry Char was following up with me to set up an appointment. We had our barbeque and firepit (both installed in 2005 and in desperate need of repair), completely overhauled. Char worked all day on the bbq and at the end of the day opened the lid to show the beautiful like-new grill. My husband was so happy!!! George worked on the firepit. The firepit had the old lava rocks and we wanted to replace them with fireglass. The fire ring was completely dissolved in a couple of places and the pipe was encased in concrete by the original contractor. In spite of all that, George was able to access the line, replace the ring, swap out the garbage lava rock for our new fireglass, and now our firepit looks like we always wished it had (never looked this good with the lava rocks and heat was minimal before). Now we have gorgeous flames rising above the beautiful rocks, and the heat level is perfect! It was a hot sunny day in the backyard, and they both worked tirelessly until the job was done. And, something I never expected, the job was photo documented all along the way, and I immediately received the report with photos that evening when the job was done (literally while they were still there). Very affordable and well worth every penny. Thank you Char and George for you hard work! We had our party yesterday and everyone commented on how beautiful the grill and firepit looked, and everything turned out great on the grill. I highly recommend All About Fire, and would definitely use them again! You won't be disappointed!! read more

Our outdoor gas fire pit was in need of maintenance due to rust/corrosion. As a capable DIY'er, I purchased a new gas distribution ring but ran into trouble when trying to remove the very corroded old ring and nut on the vertical gas stem. We were referred to George Brown at All About Fire and in between jobs, he came to the rescue on short notice. He raised the clearance with a new stem and went out and purchased a bigger, better stainless steel distribution ring. Finally, he made recommendations on new lava rock choice and placement which turned out to improve fire and heat distribution. George was prompt, professional (explained things very clearly to my wife in my absence), did high-quality work and his price was fair. We are very satisfied with his service, would hire him again and, would recommend him to others without hesitation. read more

George just completed installing three gas log sets for us and did an outstanding job. We called him based on a reference and he called back (on a weekend) within the hour. We bought the log sets at Home Depot so he asked for the make/model number and researched them prior to arriving at our home so that he was sure to have the right parts and fittings. He showed up right on time and did a meticulous job of installing the sets and instructing us on proper use. I also asked him to look at my outdoor BBQ which was not heating properly on one side and he fixed that within 5 minutes at no charge! The price was slightly above his phone quote due to extra parts and a new fireplace key but fair. I would highly recommend George and All About Fire. read more

George is so professional, polite, so sweet so dependable and right on time!! He came all the way out from the Temecula area to Mission Valley He was only going to charge me the fee to come out even though he took at least a half an hour to inspect the gas fireplace and realized It just needed to be cleaned'and cleaned it. He's extremely honest and even took time to explain what work he did in the fireplace. He's extremely trustworthy !!! Can't say enough good things about him ! I would recommend him to anybody anytime anyplace!! I'm a lawyer and I'm hard to please and I even paid him more than he asked for just because he was so professional and pleasant reliable and timely!! It's hard to find great people like that out there these days especially honest ones. Thanks George!! read more

I had George out to my hose several months ago so this review is long overdue ! I bought gas logs for my two fireplaces . George was recommended to me by a patio and BBQ store in Temecula . I called him and he quoted me a price that was about half what my plumber was going to charge . He set up an appointment for the next day . He showed up on time , covered all areas that might get dirty and got busy ! This job turned out to be more difficult than imagined because of a problem with the gas pipe in my wall . He had to go get parts and modify some of the existing pipe . He charged me a small extra charge for the extra trip and all the extra work . I thought it was minimal and was quite pleased with the price . George was a pleasure to deal with have in my home. He set up both systems , explained how every thing works a did a great job cleaning up after he was done . I will definitely call George again when I get my gas BBQ . I hIghly recommend All About Fire ! read more
