Had a great experience. Our dryer was giving a blockage warning so we knew we likely had a clogged vent. I heard it can be really expensive if they need to go onto the roof, like ours. However, they did the job at a flat fee with no issues. They were able to come out quickly to perform the service. There was a minor hiccup on scheduling but the tech was very nice about it. Bait and switch, do not deal with these people. Hired for a basic stove cleaning. Alex saw pictures of a wood stove and stated all parts were there to clean it. He cancelled the initial appointment last minute and then rescheduled for the next day, not ok. Then he showed, did no clean and changed $270 for just an inspection and to give a quote for close to $5k to replace all pipes. He did not even go to the roof. Sent a drone which produced no pics. I am very pissed off at this guy for charging to do nothing. Other companies charge $99 for inspections. I will never hire this guy for anything!!!! read more

I easily got a hold of Alex after our neighbor gave us the referral for having their dryer vent duct rerouted in their home. Our dryer has been fixed a couple times due to heating issues which was information that was disclosed, but due to our home's layout he said it wouldn't be a good idea to follow what our neighbor did. Our issue is that while our dryer heats up, it most times takes 2-3 cycles to dry a normal load. He suggested a cleaning for $169 which he had two guys over within an hour to do. They look through a camera to check the vents and after the 5 minutes of cleaning that they did, we were told there was no major blockages or barely anything to even be cleaned out. I honestly waited for a lowered price thinking they couldn't possibly still charge me the full $169 for "barely anything to clean" but, I still ended up paying the full price for the work. After reaching out again with the same issue after attempting a couple loads the following day, Alex did graciously come back to check the heat of the dryer (which was fine) and gave us a couple other options (refitting the output pipe on the roof or an external dryer box set up) which he said he would send quotes, but weeks later, we have not heard back. I understand supporting family businesses, but as a veteran family on a fixed income, that was a pretty hard hit for us to end up with a dryer that still doesn't dry and that money that could sadly have been put towards a new dryer instead which seems like would have been the best option in our situation. read more

We messaged Abetter vent cleaning on Yelp and revived a message fairly quick. We received a text confirmation for our appointment and the day of our appointment received notification when they would be on their way to our home. Two friendly gentlemen showed up to the house, and got to work. They were thorough with cleaning the vents and showed me where the filter was to replace (since we just moved in). They arrived about 8:15 and it took them about 3 hours to complete. I did have to vacuum after and put back the furniture after they were done but it's okay. Overall a quick, reliable, and friendly service. A quick note there is a minimum amount of vents they need (10 vents) which is $400. We only have 8 vents, but since they were the first available to book we went with them and are okay with it. read more
