Don't bother wasting your time with this individual. I called to inquiry about some mason/rock work I needed to have done around the pillars to my home. When calling to discuss what I needed this individual gave me the impression I was wasting his time even insinuated that I needed to be more clear and would need to figure out the sizing prior to any estimate or quote being provided. I was not expecting a quote over the phone and had even suggested to come see my home in order to provide an adequate quote. But maybe he was not having a good day - regardless this conversation did not go well and communication was not being understood. With general contractors I can't stress enough how important communication is and even if I had received a quote - I would be hesitant to award him with my business simply for lack of communication and paying attention to my needs. Lastly, I contemplated adding this additional piece of information but buyer beware this guy is on some sort of a power trip. When it comes to general politeness he repeatedly talked over me. I have never had a contractor talk over me when I was explaining what I needed and was looking to acquire. Shut your mouth, and listen - pretty simple. I have an old cement block retaining wall that had serious cracks at one end from ivy roots. Some contractors I called weren't interested because it was a smaller, but somewhat tricky job. I called Nic and sent him photos, and he gave me a very fair price that included the materials. He came out on the day we arranged and did a beautiful job replacing the damaged area. Nic was very conscientious and even took the time to try and match the block color which wasn't easy because of the age of the wall. Nick is so awesome. He came over and checked out the fire pit design I made. He then gave me the measurements to buy the gas line and how to go through the instillation. When I was ready to install he came over and walked me through the process. Then when I got the block to build my gas fire pit, he was there to walk me through how to mortar and set up for how the gas valve would need to be set up. I had a leaking valve in my fire pit. I called Nic, he gave ne a fair price and we set up the following week. He came out and cut out 4 blocks on the mortar line and we were able to save then and put them back in.
