My initial contact with Jeff was great. He called me back right away when I left a message and explained that he'd just had hip surgery but that his partner Sal would be able to assist us. I scheduled an initial quote for Saturday between 11:00 -12:00, but no one showed up, so I message Jeff to make sure we were still on. He said that Sal was running 10 minutes late. He eventually showed up, took some measurements, and said he would have an estimate back to us next week. I never heard anything, so I messaged Jeff for and update, and still nothing. I got ghosted. If you don't want to do the job, just tell me. I'm ok with that, but don't leave me hanging. Ok so I have raved about Sal and his guys and I can show you why. Anything you need they can do for you. We needed a larger slab of concrete for our trampoline and also were tired of the dogs in the wood chip. The retaining wall and stamped concrete they did for us solved our problem. Called, no answer. Left a voice message. No response. Four to Five days later, I text letting him know I'm getting ready to move on if no response. He immediately responds via text asking me to call him again. I speak with him and he talks about how he's in pain and needs to go to the dentist soon. He says, he should be able to meet that coming Saturday(about 4-5 days away). We set a time to meet that Saturday morning. Saturday morning comes, an hour past our appointment time, I finally call him(not the other way around)and he says he's close by so he'll be here soon. Another hour goes by, we call again, no answer. We try a couple of more times but he continues to avoid us. Listen to the reviews, I wanted to give him(Jeff)a chance but it's true, he flakes! Bad business. read more

Sal and his guys offer superior service at the best price in town. We used them to put in a retaining wall that turned out amazing. Then a few weeks later we had a sprinkler emergency the lines broke and our gardener didn't have time to come fix it. Sievers Construction was suggested to me by a neighbor who used their services before - I had about 1,000 sq ft of concrete to have put in, as well as a 48' long curb/retaining wall between my house and my neighbors, and drain pipes throughout the cement. I received estimates from 3 different companies, and I was most comfortable with choosing Sal at Sievers. His price was also very good. The work turned out great - better than even expected actually. The project did take a little longer than initially planned for (8 days instead of 5), but I couldn't be more happy with their work. The curb I had them put in is on a sloped ground area - so it started at like 18" high, then gradually decreased to about 8". Great work - I definitely recommend their work. My wife and I moved to Hemet from Upland after we bought a house in the Willow Walk community just off of Sanderson Avenue, not far from the Domenigoni Parkway. Our immediate project need was landscaping both the front yard and the sizable backyard or patio. However, finding willing and reliable people to do the job proved to be a daunting endeavor. We contacted about 10 different landscapers for our front lawn, and left messages because not one was available to speak to directly. Needless to say, none returned our calls. We made one last ditch effort and called a fellow we found on a website (?forget the name as I write). He came the next day with his wife and partner and has been a Godsend. Our front lawn is the best on the block, even if I say so myself. We have a great review for him on his Yelp site. We then turned our attention to the backyard. We decided to have part concrete pavement and part gravel area where we could place drought resistant potted plants. We also wanted walkways separating the gravel areas. RCP Block and Brick gave us a list of contacts, one of whom turned out to be Rocha's Construction. The Proprietor, Sal, answered our call on first try and arranged to come over for measurements and estimate. He came four days later because my wife and I work during the week and could not be available except on weekends. He was very professional, polite and very friendly. And once we drew up a contract for the work to be done, he and his crew did not disappoint. They were there each morning very early and on time, worked diligently the whole time. When it was all finished, my wife and I were overjoyed at the sheer workmanship and attention to detail. They clearly exceeded our expectation. I have read a couple of negative reviews about Rocha's Construction. All I can say is that it's hard for me to believe the reviews are of the same company.
