No call no show after project ، The crack happened after 1 week after project, we called Ramon , he told to my wife is it expend and we take care after 1 month that concrete will dry after 1 month I sent a text message and he didn't answer, they didn't put enough bar for foundation, maybe just cost was less $5 And another issue ،He was supposed to put 3/8‑inch to 3/4‑inch crushed gravel on the yard floor like we had before, but he poured sand without approval and in sections without coordination, and now sand spreads around our driveway every day read more

We used Ramon and his company CR Pacific Landscaping for a significant backyard makeover. Our yard was quite nice, but as we are nearing retirement there were a few changes we wanted to make it our dream yard. First, we considered a swimming pool but the cost, maintenance and several other factors changed our direction to a swim spa. We chose the AquaPlay 13FPP. Because the spa stands over 5 feet tall, we knew we wanted it set into the earth. Next: I've had Koi for many years, but all ponds so far were DIY - it was time to go all in. Plants: As you can see from the "before" photo - plants are important to us. Finally: Ease of maintenance. We wanted an incredible yard that we could enjoy without spending a bunch of time maintaining it. After obtaining several bids and meeting several contractors, we signed an agreement with Ramon. Three of the primary reasons we went with CR Pacific: 1) He was the only contractor we spoke with that had actual experience building "The Vault" - (the basement the swim spa sat in). 2) He had experience building water features and understood the basics, but building a pond of this size and mechanical requirements was new to him. 3) He has a great personality and appeared to be collaborative. The Good: Ramon proved to be quite collaborative. He had ideas, I had ideas and we worked together to land on the best ideas. We had problems arise (see "The Ugly"), but Ramon only delivered solutions or possible solutions. He owned the entirety of the project (even through at least 8 change orders). His common response to a change order: "We can do that" - and they did. From a client/contractor perspective, Ramon has great communication skills. He kept me informed every step of the way. Quality: The photos speak for themselves. Ramon was insistent on doing things right. Ramon had put around a dozen drains in the backyard properly piped to the street. I gave him a hard time as before he took the job, we only had two drains. We did experience some minor flooding when we would have the torrential rains. About a week after the project wrapped, we had several days of torrential rains - not even a puddle in the yard. The Bad: On site supervision could be better. Ramon had about 6 employees, most only spoke Spanish. Because I work from home I kept an eye on the progress. When I would see something that needed correction I had to use Google Translate to communicate with the workers. I often had to text Ramon inquiring if he was going to stop by. This was a significant, complex job. That is really my only "Bad". Clearly "The Good" far exceeds "The Bad". The Ugly: Water, water everywhere... While the vault was being dug, we started noticing water in the bottom of the hole at around 38". We spent a little over a week pumping it out. We contacted the water company who told us there did not appear to be a main break in the neighborhood. They suggested it could be groundwater. When the started digging the pond, groundwater continued to be a problem. Ramon dug and installed a permanent groundwater well - groundwater continues to be pumped out daily. Just another example of Ramon's perseverance. I highly recommend Ramon & CR Pacific for any landscape job. read more

We did our backyard with CR and couldn't be happier. Ramon was super understanding of all of our requests before and during the process. They did an amazing job and were super detailed oriented. They started on a Monday and finished the following Monday. All of the workers showed up early and worked hard the whole time. Would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone who needs backyard landscaping services. Price was also the best for all of the quotes we received. :) read more

Ramon did an amazing job completing our backyard renovation project. It was fantastic to work with one source to complete all of the details, which included: removal of old sod, slope plant removal, addition of retaining wall, reset irrigation system, added a deck, installed inground swim spa, and artificial turf. I now absolutely love my backyard. Thanks to Ramon and his great team who worked so hard and with such a high quality of work. He was on time (even with a tough deadline) and on budget!!! I highly recommend Ramon / CR Pacific and plan to use him again. read more

We had an amazing experience with Ramon and the CR Pacific crew for our back yard renovation. If we could give him a 10 star rating we would. From the first meeting, we were impressed with his professionalism. He not only arrived on time, but also recommended ways to keep costs down. For example, we thought we wanted a patio cover, which would have added a large amount to the bid, but he advised us not to spend the money because our house blocks the sun after about 1 pm. It's that attention to detail that continued to build trust over an evolving project with a few changes along the way. We knew that he was working to keep the prices fair and that made the process so much more comfortable. Ramon's design was exactly what we were looking for. We knew we wanted a putting green, a pad for a spa (coming late December), and parking for the motorhome - but we had no idea how to lay it out. He made the best use of our space and we were pleasantly surprised to find that we had more space than we thought once the trees were removed and the demo was done. CR Pacific took care of the demo and removal of the trees, put rebar in the concrete to handle the heavy motorhome and hot tub, and included so many little extras that we had never thought of. There were no unexpected costs. The only time a price changed was when we asked for something extra. There were a few items where we needed an outside contractor to complete. We wanted a 30 amp plug for our motorhome, a 60 amp plug for the hot tub and a plug for the lights. The electrician Ramon recommended did a great job and his pricing was fair. The iron gate with privacy screen required another contractor and his price was great as well. Finally, we needed one of our air conditioning units moved to maximize patio space. I called to get bids and none of mine came close to the bid he was able to get for us. The contractors he recommends are high quality and fair priced. Super impressed! This complete project took just under 7 weeks. It would have been shorter if we hadn't had a few days of rain. We are still amazed by the transformation, quality, price and speed of the completion. We will be using CR Pacific for our future projects and recommending them to our friends and family. read more

These guys are real pros. Our backyard was all dirt because the house is new. Ramon helped design the yard, mindful of our budget and what we wanted. He's a pleasure to work with. Always responsive as well. The team executed the design flawlessly. The guys showed up on time, always cleaned up at the end of each day, and got everything done within the timeframe that was promised. We're really pleased with the outcome and glad to have gone with these guys! read more

Ramon and crew have done it again. They've just completed a redo of the slope in our back yard, and the results speak for themselves. While the attractive appearance is obvious, what can't be seen are the methods and practices that yield such a positive outcome. Every worker in the crew performed their tasks efficiently and precisely. Materials and tools were managed so well that nothing was out of place at the end of each day. The final cleanup was so thorough that the property looked even neater than when the project began. We were amazed that so much was done in so short a period of time. No surprise there, since we've had several projects done over the past several years. CR Pacific produces consistent results that transform landscapes into attractive and lasting additions to your home. There are so few businesses today that can claim such stellar track record. They are simply really good at what they do. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Ramon and the CR Pacific crew! We had about 6 contractors come give us quotes, and Ramon was competitive in pricing and he had great ideas to help us with our front and backyards. We had a dream list of things we wanted for our front yard entrance and backyard: stairs with lights, pillars with lights, stamped concrete, retaining walls, custom wall for outdoor fountain, BBQ island kitchen, a grotto to house a Virgin Mary statue, landscape lighting, a drip line for newly installed plants and trees, and more. The transformation is really amazing and it was great working with Ramon and his crew! This review is is way overdue- as Ramon and his crew finished our project a few months back. The pictures speak for themselves. We highly recommend CR Pacific to our friends and family! read more

My wife and I wanted to completely redo our front yard. This included ripping out existing plants and grass to replace with rocks and new plants, pouring concrete steps, a side patio, lighting and expanding our driveway. We received multiple quotes and Ramon was not the cheapest but we decided to select him based off of Yelp reviews and conversation. We are glad we did! All and all Ramon and his team transformed our yard beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend them and plan on using Ramon and his team for any future projects. read more

Found this company through Yelp and after getting about 5 quotes I was very happy to go with CR Pacific. Ramon is the owner of the company and was first class. Great communication, trustworthy and approachable. He's was easy to talk with when working out how we wanted our yard to look. Any changes or questions I had during the job were addressed with no problems. His team are hardworking and did a great job getting the project finished on time. I would absolutely recommend CR Pacific to anyone wanting a hassle free experience. We love how our yard looks and will definitely be using Ramon for any future work. read more

My husband and I purchased a new home in October 2022. About a month before the home was to be completed. We started reaching out to contractors to work on design and cost estimates. I've never done this before, so starting with a blank slate was quite daunting. Ramon walked us through the process, was responsive and timely, and pricing was competitive. We had several design changes as we progressed during construction and he was very patient with us. I highly recommend Ramon and his team! read more

Multiple phases of our project were done wrong and had to be corrected. Turf laid wrong direction and solution was to "power brush" it more (except they never showed up to do that). Workers start at 9am, if they actually show up. Small job took them roughly six weeks to finish (and we supplied the material). All attention to detail went out the window when it was clear the simple things (e.g. making sure the walkway path was in straight line) couldn't get done correctly. Plenty of other issues and poor communication during our project. Only saw the owner when he needed a check. He's personable, that's about all I can say. Don't be fooled. I am not a person who writes reviews, but it is important the next potential customer understands what they may be getting into when choosing this company. He has a lot of high rated reviews, but be sure to do your homework regardless. If you have a "$100,000" job maybe you'll get the service you deserve. read more

We moved into a new home in 2018. Ramon and his team did a great job for us. They did both our front and back yard. Its now 2 years later and we had a problem with the artificial grass, (not CR Pacific's doing or their fault). Ramon looked at the problem and fixed it. We are very grateful for their hard work, especially in this heat!! We would recommend Ramon and his team! Thank you again, Dennis & Janet read more

When looking to add to the existing backyard, I had 4 different contractors come to the house to give me a quote. Out of all 4, Ramon from CR Pacific was by far the most qualified and professional. He was able to give me a ballpark idea on the spot for the job which I liked. The job was a cluster of all new area drains in the backyard, removing old grass replaced with artificial turf, different planters removed and filled with concrete, removal of a sound wall, etc. His crew always arrived on time and worked all day. He also always has the same crew every day so they worked well together. I really liked the way he took the time to explain the job, gave suggestions where we needed them, and was easy to get ahold of whenever I had a question or slight change of plans on a detail or two. He tried to save me money when he could with suggestions that were much better than some of the things I had planned, and the job came out amazing. I've had artificial turf installed at my last home, and this looks 10 times better, and I can't even see any seems even though I know where they are since I was home during much of the job. His pricing on turf and concrete was much lower than the other companies I had give me quotes and we are so happy with the results. He even took the time to program my sprinkler system and rewire some of the valves that were disconnected at no charge. He added a ton of drains under the turf that all slope perfectly toward the hidden drains and looks super clean. All in all, I am so glad we went with Ramon, and it got to the point where I trust him as I would any good friend with our home. I would recommend CR Pacific to my family and friends and will continue to send him business. We are going to work on the front yard next and we will be calling him for sure to take care of the job. I took some before and after pictures so you can get an idea of the change, although the pictures don't do it justice. Thanks again Ramon!!! read more

I've intentionally waited a few months to write this review. Due to all the rain, I wanted to know how our backyard would hold up. CR Pacific did an absolutely phenomenal job with the drain system. I don't recall how many drains were added (believe around 8 or so), but they did the job incredibly. During the torrential downpour, the water was draining out as fast as it was coming in. Ramon was incredible to work with. He's definitely a pro who takes what you have on paper, and turns it into something special. He's always responsive, and was a pleasure to work with. Huge thanks to Johnny and the crew. These guys were the fastest working guys we've ever hired. It was shocking how quick things moved along. Tree removal, grading, drains, concrete, turf, etc... These guys know what they're doing and were meticulous with everything they created. I can't recommend CR Pacific enough. Thanks for turning our backyard into something we actually use on a daily basis. read more

I hired Ramon and his team to replace the patio which they completed early January 2019. When I was on vacation in May and returned in September, we found that one beam had completely cracked about half a centimeter wide throughout the entire length of the beam. I told his friend to take a picture and how it to him and he said he would come call the next friday, it's been several months now and he still hasn't contacted me, come to fix this, and has been seemingly avoiding all my calls and emails. He previously said that this could be fixed with wood filler and that this was a natural phenomenon but our previous patio had been up for several decades and never showed any signs of cracking. Terrible communication on his part. You can see how in the picture how severe this crack is and it had only been less than a year since the installation. read more

I haven't used a contractor to work on my home in a long time so I was reasonably nervous on how to choose wisely. CR Pacific was who we ended up choosing and we really feel like we hit the jack pot. It's like pulling teeth to get a landscape contractor to give a reasonable estimate on a "small" job. Ramon came out, listened, didn't try to upsell me, and gave an estimate we could afford.
