The morning of the start of the project, Alex came to go over the project with my husband to make sure they were both understanding of the work that was to be done. My husband was concerned about a drain pipe next to where the cement would be poured, and was worried about it being damaged during the dirt removal. After the dirt was removed, Alex ran water down the drain to show us that the pipe was undamaged. He listened to my husband and made sure to pour the cement a couple inches from the drain pipe, so there was no chance of any damage. Alex was also very flexible with scheduling. He was able to reschedule the cement pour day on short notice, so that my husband would be home on that day. Alex and his crew arrived on time, which I appreciate. I've had a lot of work done in the past, and it always upsets me when contractors are late. At the end of each workday, the crew cleaned meticulously to ensure the work area was clear of dirt and debris. Alex and his crew were always respectful of our property. The price was very reasonable, and I had received more than 8 bids. Alex is honest, a good communicator, and his crew are hardworking and punctual. I'd highly recommend giving Alex a call.

Alex was so kind I'm sad we won't be seeing him in our home anymore his presence felt like family. He was very flexible and bouncing ideas off his was helpful. They always cleaned up after themselves after each visit and were always respectful. Unfortunately our HOA took forever to approve our job from the original estimate so it took a minute to get back on his schedule. I totally get it he's a busy guy because he is good at what he does so overall Job well done.

In my experience, it's extremely rare to work with someone who is punctual, especially a contractor or service worker. He always communicated about everything and wasn't afraid to ask follow up questions to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. His workers were very meticulous. I'm familiar with the process for this job, so I could tell they were not cutting any corners and took pride in their work. They always cleaned up at the end of every day, and never left a mess. This is legitimately the first contractor I've worked with that I do not have a SINGLE negative thing to say. I strongly recommend Gutierrez Quality Concrete!

Since I'm being accused of defamation, here is more proof…read more In my opinion, This tree was planted too deep and there was too much mulch and bark completely covering the trunk and base of the tree that we had to remove, unfortunately, this suffocated the tree according to 2 local nurseries. It didn't help that you incorrectly set our sprinkler system. My dad asked for the front yard and back yard to be set the same amount of time in morning and late afternoon, you set it so that the back yard got the highest amount of water in the morning AND afternoon and the front yard got the lower amount of water in the morning and afternoon. No wonder the tree is almost dead. Now to address your accusation of racism: How about you ask your guys that were here when the front yard was being done how often I would speak Spanish with them every time I pulled up to my house? I asked them how to say a couple things and they taught me. I enjoyed having you guys around, including you (when you were there). My post was nothing personal. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and I always make it a point to practice when I can so I don't forget words. I can also speak a tiny bit of Vietnamese (learned about 20 years ago), tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin- still learning), a little French and a little German. I've lived in Southern California my entire life. You only met 3 white people at my house and my whole family is an extremely mixed bunch of 3 different races. It's awfully judgmental of you to label someone as racist simply because of their skin color. Telling someone they did something wrong isn't racist, just fyi. I understand your go to "racist" comment with the way the world is right now, but it was displaced towards the wrong people. In my opinion, and the opinion of other landscaping companies that came in to complete the job and saw your work, your company's work was poor. Bottom line. Nothing personal. Just business. You could have fixed the problems (because there are more than I posted) instead of ghosting us and ignoring the issues, but you didn't. It's normal for some people to lash out and personally attack someone when they have no rebuttal for non-personal criticism. However, it's poor business practice when a customer shares their opinion based on their experience (with pictures) and instead of merely apologizing, you dig a deeper hole. Best of luck!

I am also happy with how they routed my irrigation system. There are the occasional weeds growing through the weed guard, but I think that's inevitable. The bad: Most of the trees they planted ended up dying because they were planted incorrectly. All trees are on the same irrigation system that they routed, so they all received the same amount of water. 7/10 trees died. I pulled them out and saw that they didn't prepare the soil correctly and didn't spread the roots out after transplanting the trees. The ugly: The gate install was a complete disaster. They put the gate frame on backwards which cause the gate to have uncontrollable sagging. Also, the gate lock was put on backwards.

We needed to completely landscape the rear and side yards of our new construction home. We talked with a few companies and choose Dario's. They installed all of the drainage, irrigation, and landscaping for a great price. Our landscaping consisted of several plants, shrubs, and a few trees of various types as well as some mulch, pea gravel and stepping stones for ground cover. All of which Dario's provided from their own nursery, except for two fruit trees they got from another company. Shortly after the work was complete the new irrigation control valves they installed failed and our backyard was flooded overnight. I shut off the water to the system and contacted Dario who came back to check the valves and then had them replaced. Later on, after some heavy rains, there was a spot in the yard where the water was puddling and not flowing into the drains. I contacted Dario again and his crew came back and relocated one of the drains to fix the problem. Our backyard looks great and we are enjoying it very much. We are very pleased with the work that was done. read more

We had vetted several landscaping companies in the general area & none were as prompt to respond as Dario. Dario showed up to survey our yard, and provided us a quote all within the same visit. We were impressed by his ability to provide the sketch (modeled to size) that our stringent HOA enforces in a timely manner. I felt bad because our project started just the day before the torrential rains but Dario & his crew maximized the dry times in between all of the wet weather. Our yard is finished and we are beyond thrilled with the results. Not only is the end product spectacular, the level of service we received was top notch! Dario and his team are simply THE BEST. We had a nasty dead grass situation and our HOA was not thrilled with us. Dario came out to take a look at the space and get our ideas, followed up with a digital layout of the new landscape, I took a trip out to his nursery to choose plants and we finalized the layout. His team had our entire front yard remodel and backyard demolition done in 3 days! They were super flexible with payment options and very easy to communicate with. We've hired Dario to come do a few projects for us. The first was the regrade our backyard, raise existing drains and add 2 more. The other time was to run a drip system and redo our sprinkler system. Both times he and his crew have been on time, polite, clean, professional, and affordable. Just recently my husband accidentally broke our drains while digging. I messaged Dario about it and he came out the same morning and took a look at it for us. We used Ramon and his company CR Pacific Landscaping for a significant backyard makeover. Our yard…read morewas quite nice, but as we are nearing retirement there were a few changes we wanted to make it our dream yard. First, we considered a swimming pool but the cost, maintenance and several other factors changed our direction to a swim spa. We chose the AquaPlay 13FPP. Because the spa stands over 5 feet tall, we knew we wanted it set into the earth. Next: I've had Koi for many years, but all ponds so far were DIY - it was time to go all in. Plants: As you can see from the "before" photo - plants are important to us. Finally: Ease of maintenance. We wanted an incredible yard that we could enjoy without spending a bunch of time maintaining it. After obtaining several bids and meeting several contractors, we signed an agreement with Ramon. Three of the primary reasons we went with CR Pacific: 1) He was the only contractor we spoke with that had actual experience building "The Vault" - (the basement the swim spa sat in). 2) He had experience building water features and understood the basics, but building a pond of this size and mechanical requirements was new to him. 3) He has a great personality and appeared to be collaborative. The Good: Ramon proved to be quite collaborative. He had ideas, I had ideas and we worked together to land on the best ideas. We had problems arise (see "The Ugly"), but Ramon only delivered solutions or possible solutions. He owned the entirety of the project (even through at least 8 change orders). His common response to a change order: "We can do that" - and they did. From a client/contractor perspective, Ramon has great communication skills. He kept me informed every step of the way. Quality: The photos speak for themselves. Ramon was insistent on doing things right. Ramon had put around a dozen drains in the backyard properly piped to the street. I gave him a hard time as before he took the job, we only had two drains. We did experience some minor flooding when we would have the torrential rains. About a week after the project wrapped, we had several days of torrential rains - not even a puddle in the yard. The Bad: On site supervision could be better. Ramon had about 6 employees, most only spoke Spanish. Because I work from home I kept an eye on the progress. When I would see something that needed correction I had to use Google Translate to communicate with the workers. I often had to text Ramon inquiring if he was going to stop by. This was a significant, complex job. That is really my only "Bad". Clearly "The Good" far exceeds "The Bad". The Ugly: Water, water everywhere... While the vault was being dug, we started noticing water in the bottom of the hole at around 38". We spent a little over a week pumping it out. We contacted the water company who told us there did not appear to be a main break in the neighborhood. They suggested it could be groundwater. When the started digging the pond, groundwater continued to be a problem. Ramon dug and installed a permanent groundwater well - groundwater continues to be pumped out daily. Just another example of Ramon's perseverance. I highly recommend Ramon & CR Pacific for any landscape job.

Since I'm being accused of defamation, here is more proof…read more In my opinion, This tree was planted too deep and there was too much mulch and bark completely covering the trunk and base of the tree that we had to remove, unfortunately, this suffocated the tree according to 2 local nurseries. It didn't help that you incorrectly set our sprinkler system. My dad asked for the front yard and back yard to be set the same amount of time in morning and late afternoon, you set it so that the back yard got the highest amount of water in the morning AND afternoon and the front yard got the lower amount of water in the morning and afternoon. No wonder the tree is almost dead. Now to address your accusation of racism: How about you ask your guys that were here when the front yard was being done how often I would speak Spanish with them every time I pulled up to my house? I asked them how to say a couple things and they taught me. I enjoyed having you guys around, including you (when you were there). My post was nothing personal. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and I always make it a point to practice when I can so I don't forget words. I can also speak a tiny bit of Vietnamese (learned about 20 years ago), tiny bit of Chinese (Mandarin- still learning), a little French and a little German. I've lived in Southern California my entire life. You only met 3 white people at my house and my whole family is an extremely mixed bunch of 3 different races. It's awfully judgmental of you to label someone as racist simply because of their skin color. Telling someone they did something wrong isn't racist, just fyi. I understand your go to "racist" comment with the way the world is right now, but it was displaced towards the wrong people. In my opinion, and the opinion of other landscaping companies that came in to complete the job and saw your work, your company's work was poor. Bottom line. Nothing personal. Just business. You could have fixed the problems (because there are more than I posted) instead of ghosting us and ignoring the issues, but you didn't. It's normal for some people to lash out and personally attack someone when they have no rebuttal for non-personal criticism. However, it's poor business practice when a customer shares their opinion based on their experience (with pictures) and instead of merely apologizing, you dig a deeper hole. Best of luck!

Gaspar and his team are all very polite, quality and detail oriented, clean up after themselves before leaving each day, and work hard to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Gaspar communicates well, responds in a timely manner, and stays in close contact with his workers. He is also quite receptive to changes, and quick to address anything you bring to his attention. I had a custom desert-style vision in mind and Mike and his crew delivered while being patient and professional throughout the process. A large project with big ornamental plants naturally brings some challenges, but all issues were addressed and made right in the end. Irrigation was installed to the plants and spacing was done well for a symmetrical, automated setup. The largest tree, a Mediterranean fan palm in a 30" box, was installed expertly - showing they can handle heavy, mature trees as well. Re-Leaf wasn't the cheapest option, but I chose them based on reviews and the experience that was clear during the initial consultation.
