Had to catch up on quite a bit of yard work and decided to have the professionals take care of it. Mr. Ruiz got back to me the same day to arrange an estimate. He was on time and professional. I brought Ruiz Landscaping back for an extensive makeover of my back yard, and once again I ended up with exactly what I had hoped for. The final result was so similar to the concept drawings I had given to Ramiro, it was almost uncanny. There were several stages to the project. First, I had them replace the back section of my fence, which was about to fall over. The new fence section is durable (with metal posts) and impressive-looking. Next, I had them remove the patchy lawn, clear out the side planter areas, and replace it all with hardscape, mulch beds, and a small section of artificial pet turf. They also put in two new plants in barrel-style wooden planters, as well as replant two pre-existing rose bushes into the same style of planters, along with installation of a drip-irrigation system to all four plants. Ramiro suggested adding several yard drains to deal with standing water after excess rainfall, which is something I hadn't previously considered, but readily approved because it makes a lot of sense. The final stage of the back yard project was to install a garden shed on a pre-existing cement pad. I purchased a lean-to-style shed that I liked, and Ramiro installed it, including the cement anchor kit. Everything was done efficiently, cleanly, and with great care taken in each step in the process. I have also had Ruiz Landscaping perform a few seasonal yard clean-ups in the last several months. They are great at weeding, freshening the look of hardscape and mulch areas, cleaning out dead leaves and other yard clutter, and fluffing up trampled artificial grass installations to make them look brand-new again. read more

We needed our dwarf plumb trees and a spruce that was getting too big for the space trimmed and shaped. Ramiro answered our Yelp request within an hour on a Sunday night.
